Wore Ahojas to a crowded event at my kids school. Someone followed the scent trail directly to me and said, “Sir, the fragrance you are wearing is luxurious, it is different, and clearly stands out”. I have not stopped smiling. I own 3 fragrances from Hind Al Oud and Ahojas is my clear favorite. Ahojas is a unisex fragrance that masterfully blends fig, white tobacco, and honey. The initial notes offer a green, milky sweetness from fig, balanced by the golden warmth of honey. At its heart, the intoxicating scent of white tobacco emerges, mingling with deep agarwood undertones to create a complex and exhilarating aroma. This composition exemplifies Hind Al Oud’s dedication to crafting luxurious and evocative scents, solidifying Ahojas as a true masterpiece in the world of perfumery. I purchased my bottle at the Dubai Mall location for $205 USD. Projection: Medium Sillage: Excellent Longevity: Eternal, could smell it on my wrist the next day. Rating: 10/10

Alhojas is a beautifully crafted and impeccably blended fragrance with a distinctive sweetness that instantly elevates my mood. It has a rich, indulgent character that feels both comforting and luxurious. I genuinely love wearing this scent especially in Saudi Arabia, where sweet, oud, date-like fragrances are deeply appreciated. On the cloth, it comes across as elegant and opulent, leaving a lasting impression. The projection and longevity are outstanding, easily drawing compliments wherever I go. While it truly shines in the cooler winter months, I still enjoy wearing it during summer in air-conditioned settings, where its depth can be appreciated without becoming overwhelming. Yes it is expensive niche fragrance.

This is an Arab man's Naxos. Go ahead, change my mind! Also, Ibrahim Al Qurashi Honey Musk from their Dose collection smells very similar. Although honey musk is bit sweeter and less Tobacco'ey, while Ahojas is more Oud Tobacco combo. I'd skip this and get Honey Musk instead. Save you some money. Also, is this 'Ahojas' like the Spanish "j" (like Jose or Jana) pronunciation or is it just a regular English "j" (like jam?) I'm really curious.

A perfume, I genuinely fits all seasons. So elegant. The honey makes it wearable during daytime and during spring and summer. However, it is so strong which is why it works during the winter aswell. Again, one of my all time favorites.

An amazingly good fragrance that men and women will love. My gal enjoyed it so much, I let her steal it from me.

Why It Reminds Me of Tony Iommi and Nefs? Tony Iommi Monkey Special is powerful, but not in the simplistic "nuclear projection" sense. It wears like a luxury leather jacket rather than a neon billboard. Both fragrances share a dark, sophisticated character, exceptional blending, a storytelling approach, evolution over many hours and confidence without aggression. The difference is that Tony Iommi carries more rock-star swagger and richness, while Ahojas feels more introspective and contemplative. Nefs is perhaps the closest philosophical cousin. Nefs tells the story of opulence, palaces, spices, gold and silk. Ahojas tells the story of heritage, craftsmanship, wood, tobacco and memory. Both possess Extraordinary depth, Layered construction and Long wear times. A sense of cultural storytelling. An absence of modern synthetic loudness. Neither fragrance is trying to win a projection contest. They're trying to create an emotional experience. The Common Thread Ahojas, Tony Iommi and Nefs belong to a category that many enthusiasts eventually discover after years in the hobby. The realization comes that, Great perfumery isn't about how far a fragrance travels. It's about how long the story remains interesting. A fragrance that projects 10 feet for two hours can be forgotten. A fragrance that evolves beautifully for 12 hours can become unforgettable. Other Fragrances in This Spirit are Royal Tobacco, Naxos anf Back to Black. All of these prioritize character over volume. They're fragrances for people who appreciate Narrative, Composition, Raw material quality, Evolution and Emotional resonance rather than simply asking, "How many compliments did I get?" For someone who enjoys the history of houses, perfumers, raw materials and the stories behind creations—Ahojas makes complete sense. It feels less like a fragrance purchase and more like acquiring a beautifully written book that reveals something new every time you revisit it. And perhaps that's the highest compliment one can give a perfume, It doesn't dominate the room. It enriches the wearer.

At first I was very much 'on the fence' about Ahojas By Hind Al Oud but very consistent after spending real time with it rather than judging it from first sprays. Ahojas often gets labeled as "weak" because people expect a loud, room-filling tobacco fragrance. In reality, it's built more around texture, atmosphere, and sensuality than projection. How I'd describe it as having good longevity, moderate projection, and a close-to-the-skin scent bubble and that is exactly where its strength lies. I'd compare it to the experience i get with compositions like Back to Black by Kilian which is particularly interesting because both fragrances share a similar philosophy: They draw people in rather than announce themselves. They create an intimate aura rather than a large scent trail. They lean into warmth, sweetness, and sensuality. They reward close encounters. The difference is that Back to Black is more honeyed, tobacco-sweet, and gourmand, whereas Ahojas has that distinctive Hind Al Oud signature—richer woods, darker nuances, and a more Middle Eastern interpretation of luxury. Given my collection I'd describe the following fragraances as: Royal Tobacco = powerful statement tobacco. Nefs = opulent and regal. Naxos = bright honey-tobacco charisma. Ahojas = intimate, seductive, personal. So rather than overlapping, Ahojas fills a role that the others don't. It's the fragrance I'd reach for at a dinner, majlis, date night, or anywhere someone is likely to be within arm's length. The fact that you may find a 183ml bottle for 1,700 AED makes it even more compelling. The value per ml is exceptional compared with the 50ml bottle retailing for AED 770. Especially once you've confirmed the performance works for your taste. One thing I've noticed with fragrances in this style is that people often appreciate them more after wearing them than after smelling them on a strip or testing them briefly. The wearer keeps catching beautiful wafts for hours, while those nearby experience it as an intriguing, refined presence rather than an olfactory assault. Ahojas seems to be moving from my "on the fence" category into my "I understand what this fragrance is trying to do" category. And that's usually when a fragrance starts becoming a favorite rather than just another bottle on the shelf.

The letter J, as in just or January, In terms of Arabic meanings, what Nweako mentioned is somewhat accurate, but as someone from the GCC region, I can tell you that Ahojas refers to the sensation of overthinking numerous irrelevant topics without really understanding why I’m caught up in them, often leading to a sense of being lost in my thoughts. This feeling usually comes with a negative undertone or can even cause anxiety. I believe the term also points to the mystery and complexity of the scent profile.

Tobacco honey... Sandy tobacco mixed with hints of figs flavored honey, touch of powdered cinnamon, and some white floral and i guess tiare to give that vanilla touch to it and all of them is added on an amberic plate to give it it's robust base. I believe this blend could be classified as oriental with that amber base & honey tobaccos vanilla mix. I believe this blend reminds me very much of Marly blends! and sometimes of "Tobacco vanille" by Tom Ford but more luxurious. Their price tag for this one can be justified somehow, but remains pricy! 200$ for 50ml. Nice.

For me can easily replace Naxos as the king of tobacco scents. Love the initial burst but on skin its gone in max 2-3 hours. Not even an aura scent. Not a trace! The scent advisor quite confidently say it's an extrait. Doesnt feel like an extrait as the longevity is questionable for me atleast. Costs 770 in terms of the local currency here for a 50ml and 1600 for 183ml. You could acquire Tobacco Honey from the L'Art & La'Matiere Guerlain line by adding a little.

Something really nice. I feel that this perfume is the upgraded version of Naxos. The same scent with stronger performance and a really pure juice in there.
