Emarati Musk

I dont typically comment on here, but I feel the need to voice my opinion on this fragrance. I went on a shopping spree a while ago and as I stepped outside of the first store I was met with the Hind Al Oud kiosk right in front of me, now I am familiar with Hind Al Oud as they have a pretty firm reputation among us emiratis, so I thought I might check their stuff out. I told the guy working there I was looking for something suitable for the seething heat and he recommended this and when I tell you it was love at first scent. I decided I’d continue to run my errands and base my final decision off the perfume’s performance, low and behold, 5 hours later and the perfume was still in tact and the silleage was phenomenal considering the heat. I immediately went back and snatched it. My only complaint tbh would be that it is pretty pricy especially for a 50 ml bottle, but other than that this is amazing imo.

Another amazing master piece by Hind, just love this one. It will captures the middle Eastren scent but no so heavy that it can be worn during Cold days or all nights for special days. This is well created and it captures the Hind DNA & signature Arabic scents. 10 out of 10

I was expecting a cozy, slightly sweet musky scent, but Emarati Musk went in a completely different direction on my skin. Instead of clean or comforting, it leans quite animalic, with a slightly dirty edge that feels more harsh than sensual. There’s also a noticeable bubblegum-like floral nuance that reads very tuberose-like, even though tuberose isn’t listed. It gives the fragrance a synthetic, almost chewy sweetness that doesn’t blend well with the musk and ends up feeling a bit off. What surprised me most is how little I get from the supposed vanilla and date notes. There’s none of that creamy warmth or rich sweetness—just a flat, artificial sweetness that never really develops. Overall, it comes across as animalic rather than soft, oddly bubblegummy / tuberose-leaning missing the depth and warmth I expected. An expensive failed blind buy which was based on surprisingly high ratings of this perfume!

Interesting to have a date note in this generally light, "freshie" type of scent profile. I'm a big fan of the date note, have a collection of fragrances with date notes, and know that the vast majority of them have thicker, heavier profiles. The date note in Emarati Musk is noticeable in the opening, but it would be difficult to identify as date blindly. And the ability to identify the date note decreases through the drydown as a general diffuse vanillic sweetness takes hold. Maybe the brand included the date note as a curtsy to the brand's Middle Eastern orientation. Anyway, there are certainly more notes than dates, vanilla, and musk. There are a lot of florals for example. Its a nice scent profile, although I made the mistake of overspraying, and it became cloying. Control your sprays. A bit powdery with the white musk, it does lean a little feminine. But its unisex enough for a man to wear. Oh, and this has NO similarity to Across Sands from the Replica line of Maison Martin Margiela, whatsoever.

Emarati Musk – The Twin Brother of Emarati Oud Many say that if you already have Emarati Oud, getting Emarati Musk is redundant. That's exactly why I wanted to try it and have it for myself. Some people prefer Oud, others prefer Musk. That difference comes down to one thing: the white oud in Emarati Oud versus the musk here. The musk used by Hind Al Oud is sweet, slightly funky, and only mildly animalic just like the cheek of a cute little girl. It feels as if the musk has been grown on trees and naturally sweetened with vanilla and dates. If you've fallen in love with Emarati Oud, don't expect to love this one instantly. It takes a little time to grow on you. It's a true unisex fragrance, and the performance is exactly what you'd expect from this house.

I’ve been looking for a quality musk and oud to layer and Arabic perfumes are clearly the best options.... I like it! Love at first sniff. Its giving clean girl but NOT soap This musk smells like an elevated Palmers Lotion. Luxurious lotion with SPF. The scent is linear and well blended. In other words, I cannot distinguish between the vanilla and dates. But you can tell it is a musk. Its perfect for after the shower, to freshen up, and as a base musk to layer w. Other perfumes w. Similar notes. I think its good for warm weather. Not sure if I would wear it in the winter tho and not sure if I would buy a full bottle. I am enjoying the 5ml. Not even sure if I would get a 10 ml. This is literally perfect just for a travel toiletries perfume.

Emarati Oud but delete the Oud note and add Musk. Musk is sweet, funky and tender like the cheek of a cute little girl,very little animalic for my nose,like the musk has been grown on trees sweetened by dates and vanilla. The shield bottle is neat,sleak and nicely cut,a decoration piece beautiful just like Shalimar bottle. It stays linear for most of its age,unisex and can be worn all year.
