Emarati Oud

This is a gorgeous scent from my favorite UAE house (Hind Al Oud). Upon first spray, you pick up the oud immediately, and it lingers for about 20-30 minutes”. The fragrance had great longevity and sillage, and throughout my wearing, i kept getting pleasant whiffs of this gorgeous scent.

The master cabin of Hind Al Oud Train — Emarati Oud This was the first HAO I got,and the one HAO is known for. An airy vanilla wrapped around a beautiful date note. The blend is so smooth that vanilla and dates don't feel like two separate notes. It almost smells like a single note, Vanidates (vanilla + dates). There may be some white oud in the background, but it stays at a distance, only adding depth and helping the scent last longer. The vanilla and oud melt into each other so naturally that it's difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins, giving the fragrance a soft, airy feel. It reminds me of a Shaikh offering you fresh dates in the middle of white sand dunes.

No reason for this to be called anything Oud and oud as a top accord on here is just blatantly wrong. What this is is a sweet, vanillic date perfume - you're getting a big fruity date here moreso than a deep spiced one and it imparts a bit of a "sharp" scent to something that you might've assumed, looking at the notes, would've been a smooth, deep, cold weather type of thing. This is really nice and could be worn year round.

Vanillic Dates.... Gourmand-ish blend of dates, cinnamon, vanilla, & bits of caramel. I don't really sense any oud in here but i guess it is there cause the blend is not cloying sweet at all, it is quite balanced with quite an impressive whip cream caramel vanilla dates. Pretty.
