An amber oud. The Cambodian oud is of excellent quality. Fairly simple formula but you feel the ingredients are high quality. Initially, strong sillage with the oud felt right from the opening then wafts nicely in a moderate bubble. Excellent choice for special occasions in the Middle East. I also think it's good value for money as can be had during offers for around $150 for 50 ml. One of the nicest and easiest to love middle eastern style ouds. Edit 17/6/25: Amazingly went through a bottle in less than two years. Guess I liked it more than I thought. It’s my dumb reach oud if you will.

This is one of the best Middle Eastern fragrances out there! So I’ve been using this for at least 10 years.. the smell is amazing, different and so rich with Arabic notes such as Oud, Amber, Species, I can also smell Zafron. If you wear this most people will ask you what is your perfume, also I wanna tell you if you leave it on a piece of clothing & keep it somewhere and come back two moths later you will still smell the perfume the same, as good. Generally this is the perfect Arabic perfume for a very Special occasions.

Today, as I hold this perfume, I can say it may take time to truly describe it. But the reality is that many people review it without fully understanding it. I’ll write my review once I’ve properly experienced it.

I love this perfume. It is a very traditional dehn oud, but made in a sophisticated way. Smells amazing on men. As a woman if I want to make my scent more mysterious I like to mix this with another perfume.

As a devoted oud lover, I blind bought Sheikh A and wasn’t disappointed. It opens with a bold, animalic oud—reminiscent of pure Cambodian Dehn Oud oil—but softens within 10 minutes into a smooth, resinous, soft oud dry-down. It’s rich, long-lasting, and surprisingly wearable. I have to say, longevity is not as long as I would expect, about 4 hrs for me then it became quite faint on my skin. Granted I didn't over spray since the opening is very strong, maybe it would last with more sprays? Originally released as Sheikh Abdullah, but Sheikh A is the modern name. I find it unisex and perfect for any oud lovers.

This is really nice if you like oud and amber, but the performance is quite bad and does not seem to last more than about 30 minutes. It does have a uniquely "expensive" scent but it's really not worth buying.

I like to be adventurous. So I’ll try oud-heavy fragrances. This is the most out-heavy fragrance that I’ve tried. The opening is fecal oud and the fecal smell only slowly disappears. There are notes under the oud that are likeable but the fecal oud smell is too much for me.

Green-ISH indian oud... A great take on Indian oud (Not Aged) as it is mixed with freshly picked bouquet of floral & a touch of greeny notes forming a classic animalic blend that mixes between Arabian & European culture. The longevity for those who seeks it is around 4 days on plotter and going fair, but honestly the price tag they are asking for is quite exaggerating! 170$+ for 50 ml! i mean there are HUGE similar blends in GCC countries that offers stronger and more robust takes on aged Indian oud and costs quarter the price! Besides, those GCC countries shops offers exclusive sales (up to 60%) & nowadays they offer even more like buy 2 and get 1 free while Hind Al Oud maximum offers 20% which remains quite expensive! I believe they should reconsider their prices and strategy cause honestly they have great fragrances like for instance "Ghali Al Athman" but imagine the price tag! it is 1000$+ for 50 ml! no offense but it's like purchasing 3 or 4 Areej Le Dore & Bortikoff! Don't get me wrong their fragrances are beautiful but why would i purchase 1 while i can purchase 4 or 5 with exact similarity! & i'd personally would go for "Sheikh A" if it were 100$, & i would def go for "Ghali Al Athman" if it were $250 or 300$.

The house's first release and most selling item, carrying the name and legacy of His Highness. Dahn oud wrapped in a cloud of amber and spices. Despite having the lowest oil concentration in the line, it's still no fragrance for amateur noses. The first 30 minutes are dense, almost fecal indian oud cloud laced with spices before fading into a warm amber-oud drydown. Quality oud rarely comes cheap. Sheikh A doesn't pretend to be inexpensive,but for the caliber of natural oud it offers, it's one of the best priced entries in the house,specially when you compare it with Ghali al Athman and Sheikh Muhammad. Hind Al Oud is expected to prepare an extrait version in the reflection bottle. If true, that will be mouthwatering sexiness. In extrait form, it could be pure orgasmic indulgence.

SOTD: Sheikh A by Hind al Oud This is like the younger sibling of GHALI AL ATHMAN Oud being the prominent note for both this is more of a airy version while ATHMAN oud has the depth to It and Woody dense character this is more airy and hollow compared to the elder sibling This one also has some herbal green nuances for a longer time which kinda gave me a lot of henna kinda Vibe So ideally imagine a herbal opening ( stays for longer here ) + some green elements + aromatic oud which isn't skanky or fecal but woody, smoky , mild incense and airy kinda one. Overall yet again a beautiful oud based scent to my nose but then yet not versatile to be pulled off easily by everyone and would be subjective coz it's oud focused You gotta be appreciating oud as a note to like this one.

This is true oud + some fruity notes. Forget about Ombre Nomade and Oud Maracuja. Those aren’t Oud fragrances. They’re leather + a fake westernized Oud note + a fruity note. This takes true Oud like you’d smell in a Dehn and puts it into a fragrance. Not at all safe for blind buying and definitely not safe for anyone who hasn’t smelled true Oud. It’s stinky and barnyardy in the opening. Takes 30-45 mins to calm down.

This is the CLASSIC oud scent, not modern french takes on it This is the smell of the pure oud oil arab people use LOUD sillage and performance is terrific Not a casual scent AT ALL.

Very bad industrial smell and worse performance.
