Chic Socialite

H&M actually suprised me with this velvety candy scent. It's like oriana and ldbs had a baby. Don't expect long sillage and longivety, but the fragrance itself is outstanding for it's price. Much value for your money. A fresher ldbs.

I LOVE this! A cheepie worth buying definately! A sweet cottoncandy marshmallow fragrance with a hint of Lemon and sweet nightblooming honeysuckle.

I love this. I reach for this very ofter. It smells like LDBD, which I also love.

Chic Socialite opens with the familiar H&M scent - alcohol. Once that settles, it becomes a light, girlish floral with a noticeable orange blossom impression; sweet, clean, youthful and pretty, though synthetic. It has a delicate, synthetic charm: not expensive-smelling, but pleasant in a harmless, lace-skirt-and-pearls sort of way. I picture a very sweet 17-year-old girl with a soft voice and perfect manners. She is a young girl at brunch who orders something with whipped cream and somehow still looks thin. Innocent, feminine, and easy to like, even if it does not quite have the depth. After an hour it does have a sharp soapy scent for a while. Projection is modest and longevity is around two hours on me. It is more of a daily companion, office-safe and unlikely to offend anyone. Chic Socialite is polite and slightly artificial. Do I like her? Yes. Do I love her? No. She is charming, but forgettable.

This smells to me like a very flat My Way, a little like la Rive her choice. And although I really want to like it, it just stings in my nose. There is some sort of very stingy uppernote that just dominates the scent, and makes my nose run (My way gives me a headache), I think those who can tolerate and like My Way will like this. The bottle is very cute, so for the price you get a nice little item to show off! Update: After 3 weeks the stingy top-note has settled down a little, and some of the marshmallow and vanilla is coming through. Its a lot more pleasant now, but I still find it smelling a little synthetic.

There are so many dupes for LDBS on the market right now, and this is one of them. It's a very budget friendly alternative to it. It is not as complex and well-rounded as LDBS, and it's not as cloyingly sweet which in my opinion is a positive thing. The marshmallow is a bit softer on the nose, much like Oriana is. If you like citrusy, fluffy marshmallow gourmands, you can't go wrong with Chic socialite. It goes for around 10€ for a 30 ml bottle and for an edT it performs quite well. Around 5-6 hours on my skin. An impressive little gem!

I love this! It is a bit synthetic, but sweet marshmallow, pink cotton candy scent, that is also creamy and comforting. Don't think of the Pink Sugar kind of synthetic sweet, this cheapie has so much more to offer. I don't know how it compares to LDBS, but I tried another LDBS dupe - Riffs Ciao. That one was bad, sharp, headache inducing. THIS perfume however is a true little gem. It doesn't have the best projection, but it is a nice addition to a sweet fragrance lovers collection.

The scent is very citrusy, with the bergamot being the main note. Interestingly, the honeysuckle is also quite noticeable, which I think is very unique. I have a friend on which this smells extremely sweet, but personally, I primarily pick up the floral and citrus notes. Unfortunately, the longevity is terrible; it lasts about half an hour at most, and it has no projection.

I find the whole new line very syntethic smelling and dissappointing. This was one of the better, but not buying worthy. My daughter liked it though

Such an unbeliable thing.. I own many fragrances, from niche to designer (like many people on this site😉), but still one of my current favorites is a super affordable scent from H&M. I didn’t even know H&M made fragrances before, and I stumbled upon this one by chance when I saw a friend of mine with a really cute little bottle - of course, I just had to try it right away. The one my friend had was Fearless Optimist, which is also really good. This one reminds me a little of Kilian’s LDBS, but it’s much lighter and fresher. And since I personally love fresh and lght scents, this is a really good alternative for me. The original is too sweet and heavy for my taste. Of course, compared to the real thing this is a pretty simple scent that doesn’t really develop much, but at this price point it does the job beautifully! 🍡🌸
