H&M Pear - Bursting with juice

When I first smelled it in the bottle I thought it was a simple and straightfoward (or boring if I'm honest) pear fragrance. Then when I sprayed it on my wrists I immediately got a nostalgic whiff of Victoria's Secret pear body sprays mixed with BBW apple something or other. But, in the dry down it has a musk/shampoo smell that I really really like. This one smells very clean and fresh and has more going on than just pear. Fragrantica notes do not reflect the complexity here. Before I tried it on my skin I was thinking I might layer it with Body Shop White Musk, but it already has a fair bit of musk in it. Like other of the H & M perfumes I've tried it smells more expensive than it is. Very good value on this one.

Gosh this is such a lovely scent. If only it was stronger. It starts out for a few seconds a little chemically, but it smells like really great shampoo. Actually, it smells a lot like my Garnier Apple shampoo, and also, the green apple jolly ranchers—but fresher. Nothing complex, not too sweet, watery and a bit tart. To me it smells kind of like a cross between a pear and green apple. It doesn’t last long, longevity is 1hr -1hr30 mins max.

love love love this $7 stunna- literally sexy jolly rancher! encompasses the perfect mix of sweet, linear juicy pear and a musk/soapy drydown. definitely gives garnier fructis shampoo vibes in the best way. so happy it was restocked so i could get my hands on it! EDIT- understandably, longevity is suuuper weak on this one, so i spritzed multiple times throughout the day- no worse for the wear!

Fresh, sweet, juicy pear! I love this scent! This perfume smells very wet and watery in a good way, which makes it perfect to wear during hot seasons!

Smells like like sour green apple candy, pears and apple juice! It's really cute, fresh and candy-ish but the longevity is really bad, still great!

Totally 100% green Jolly Rancher. Yes, definitely smells a like pear, but also oddly a little like green apple. Lovely little cheapie.

Another great scent from the recently released H&M line. The pear contained herein is very much reminiscent of the pear top notes in Dior's Higher, but slightly more realistic, surprisingly enough. Pear is probably the most linear and least complex of the scents I have tried thus far, but it's also the one that delivers on the promise without pretense: this really is a pear bursting with juice. A delightful scent at an amazing price point. Longevity and Sillage are on a par with the rest of the H&M line: slightly below average for an EDT. The advantage is that you can apply and reapply at will throughout the day without regard to cost.

This is a very easy, everyday summery scent that reminds me of carefree highschool times. The size of a bottle comes in handy as you may need to drench yourself in it every 30 minutes - that's a big minus of this fragrance, however for this amount of money I will not be making fuss about it. Loved it on holidays, where i would just walk in a cloud of this pear juice right before heading to the beach. The scent itself is mostly sweet, slightly tart in the opening, doesn't really change throughout the wear. Super simple!

I love this as a single note fragrance, great for layering 🍐 I’ll try to mix this with a musk fragrance and see if maybe I can dupe the Juliette Has a Gun pear Inc. Both the fragrances has this juicy pear, I think it’s pretty good for everyday and layering it just needs something more to it. I personally think the H&M collection is so cute 🥰 and it can’t really go wrong if you like pear. And it’s not too synthetic IMO.

Smells like a juicy pear, and a bit like pear candy or pear cider. Just a very clear pear scent. I layer it with H&M Garden for a more complex, green, fruity-musky scent. I wouldn't just wear this alone. Weak silleage and longevity, but what more can you expect for such a low price.

This basically smells exactly like a green Jolly Rancher, or a green apple- or pear-flavored hard candy: light and sweet. There's a refreshing shampoo sort of vibe to it, which I find common with green apple and pear scents and I quite enjoy! It's simple and cute.

Sour apple candy! My nose doesn’t detect a hint of pear but that’s fine, I bought it specifically for green Jolly Rancher vibes. Doesn’t last and stays close to the skin but it’s a H&M perfume; it’s cheap and fun and doesn’t need to be luxurious.

very simple, soapy and sweet. reminds me of washing my hair after playing in my neighbour's inflatable pool as a kid. as it dries down it gets a little soapier but still overwhelmingly pear. its watery enough that it doesn't give me a headache

Despite being called pear I actually get 100% green jolly rancher. It's like biting into a green apple. It's sweet, juicy and a little bit tart!

This is so fresh and nice! If you pear it (HAHA) with the pear body yoghurt from The Body Shop, it will last longer🫶🏼🫶🏼

simple pear. OK for layering and as a room scent :-) I like it, not synthetic.

I used to wear this sometimes. I could really smell the pear in the opening but the drydown had this really awful car perfume smell. Overall I do not recommend because the drydown was that bad.

a lovely fresh/sweet scent that i wish would stick around for longer than a few seconds. still very cheap and tacky smelling but nice for something simply fruity

I think people are overly judging this perfume based on the first note. At the initial spray, it is 100% sour green apple, but it warms up and becomes more complex. On dry down, I think it becomes a pretty realistic juicy pear scent, although very sweet. Maybe I have a sensitive nose, but I don't feel like the lasting power is anything to complain about either. Yesterday, I re-applied at 4 p.m., and I could smell it as I went to bed at 11 p.m. That's pretty decent, if you ask me. I've been pear-ing (ha) this with salty by Frenshe, and it's honesty so delicious. I spray some in my hair and it brings me back to my herbal essence days of highschool.

literally pear in a bottle; a veeery fresh, clean, juicy pear. the sillage is not great but wasn’t expecting it to be, either way it’s absolutely amazing especially for the price!!! edit: the more i smell this, the more its headache-inducing unfortunately :(

I get pear popsicle and a bit of juicy green apple. A youthful, fruity-sweet fragrance with a slight green freshness and a touch of warm, grounding amber.

After my sample of Pear Inc ran out I've started layering this with Not a Perfume, and it makes a satisfying replacement for now!
