H&M Rue Crémieux

This isn't exactly a dupe of any Viva La Juicy currently in existence. But to me it's what a peach VLJ flanker would be, assuming it was done well. The opening seems a little cheap to me, but it soon calms down into a nice, lite gourmand. Like peach pie filling with a sandalwood undertone. I love this inexpensive gem and hope they keep making it!

I bought this at the store as a gift to my cousin. Never bothered testing it out since it was just for a gift. When I got home, I tried opening it to smell it before I wrap it and oh booooy. This scent has to be mine. I kept it and bought my cousin a lippie instead. That's how heavenly this scent is -- dreamy and creamy and sweet. I love it!

this is beautiful! the lotus really shines through on my skin but I also get that candy peach vibe everyone is talking about. I think this is one of the best h&m scents I’ve tried so far! just like with many of the other ones, it’s not super unique, but it’s definitely pretty and likeable. this one has a bit more depth to it than the other scents I’ve tried, which is probably why it’s one of my favorites. it’s still a bit synthetic and shampoo-y, but it has more flair to it in my opinion than, say, freewheeling which is a scent that also falls into the floral fruity category. I would say it’s almost a spot on dupe for viva la juicy noir and it also comes quite close to gold couture, so if you are looking something similar to those but with a friendlier price tag, this one’s perfect.

This is millennial pink in a bottle, the smell of an Instagram influencer with always perfectly 'messy' curls and 'naked' makeup. It's sweet, squeaky-clean, youthful and simple, not particularly complex or unique in any way but pleasant and endearing. I wish the florals were more prominent - right at the start, along with the lilac, I got a distinct green, tea-rose note (like that of Paul Smith Rose) which I loved and got me to pick it up immediately, but sadly it seems to dissipate almost immediately and without that greenery it seems to be more a soft-focus wash of peachy pleasantry than a fully realised scent. Which is just fine for what it is: like scrolling through a well-curated Instagram, it's perfectly nice and fun but there's not much going on below the surface.

Ett spontanköp, köpte lilla flaskan på 10 ml, perfekt för att testa nytt/ta med i handväskan etc. Inte den mest komplexa och sofistikerade doften, men mysig, anspråkslös. Persika och vanilj kan väl ingen ogilla. Tänker på Bellini, men inte riktigt den typen man dricker i en elegant bar, gjord på färsk persika och en schysst prosecco. Snarare något man slänger ihop när tjejkompisarna kommer över och man kurar ihop sig i soffan. En helt habil doft som jag kommer att använda till plugget och hemma!
