H&M Sparks Will Fly

when I first sniffed it from the bottle, it smelled a very sweet and bright sparkling soda. its a very sticky vanilla accompanied by a heavy floral scent. the projection is quite good. i can imagine that people passing by are trying to sniff what I am wearing. I love this scent that it can be layered with other simple notes.

I could have sworn there is vanilla in this, but nope, seems I am mistaken. Anyway this indeed falls in a similar category like black opium, even if it sure doesn't smell identical. The opening is a bit sharp to me, but within minutes it turns into creamy white floral goodness with just the right amount of sweetness for me. To me it's not a gourmand but clearly floral. Projection is ok enough, longevity on my dry skin in dry Mumbai winter (meaning 20-30 degree Celsius) clocks in at around 6 hours easily. Allover I find this a great through and through feminine white floral for pretty much any kind of climate. Also appreciate that H&M doesn't only offer it in full sized bottles, but also in a smaller trial size. Been carrying that one around in my purse the last weeks. Very practical.

normally I try to stay away from primarily citrusy scents but I like this one! it starts out somewhat sharp and it’s a similar sharpness to that of black opium, hence why I think people are so quick to compare the two, but other than that I don’t really think they’re alike. I think I would have liked this better if it was less sharp (and I have the same feeling when it comes to black opium) because whatever that sharpness is, my nose isn’t the biggest fan. the scent is nice enough though and I would say it’s a good, cheap alternative for a decent night out perfume that won’t actually smell cheap.

This is very nice. My scent warderobe has gotten way out of proportions and I am letting go of a lot of my early purchases and designer perfumes. (hate to say it, mostly because it makes this an extremely expensive hobby, but I have indeed become quite a perfume snob). I will keep and use my 10ml of this though. Glad I rediscovered it. The notes don't make much sense to me (I thought I smelled heliotrope?), but it's cute, I really like it! 👍

This has the vibes of Black Opium...but NOT a clone/dupe IMO....this has both Black Opium-ish and YSL Cinema both It is sweet. The juice in my bottle has gone darker....and actually "colored" my test strip....and...this has gotten "more potent" than when I first received it...??? The notes seem to be "in tact". Not anything special or remarkable...but not a "bad" scent.

I actually hesitated to blindbuy this due to the comments and the patchouli. Strangely it does not smell like the notes listed here. It is sweet and almost gourmand. I really enjoy it

Damn! This reminds me so much of YSL Libre Intense! The same laundry softener vibes with lavender and vanilla. I don't know why people compare it with Black Opium - I don't get any similarity and I love my OG Black Opium. It is strong and on my skin lasts for hours...

It makes me want to sniff it all the time. For me, it is something that doesn't leave me calmed, but excited and sexy all day. It has a long lasting power on my skin, but of course - after reading other comments - it depends on your body chemistry. It totally worth the price. If you are looking for sg like this but even cheaper, go to C&A and look for their "Love story" (for some reason it's not in fragrantica's data base, I can't add it.) Actually, Love story is a very slightly bit more calmed and romantic, but definately the same type.

I don't understand why all the negative reviews? I am absolutely & completely in love with this perfume. It's one of the sexiest perfumes I've smelled so far. I normally only wear fresh/white floral perfumes and detest sweet perfumes, but this one is slightly sweet. I could have sworn that there are some vanilla, amber or tonka beans in it. Anyways, it is a little bit sweet and it isn't the mandarine. It's definitely something else...

First of all: The whole H&M fragrance thing is amazing . Huge range - something for anybody. Prices are amazing, the bootles are cute and original , and the fragrances are to die for. Im really so pleased. Lasting power, projection - A+ all over the line. Highly impressed and immediately bought 7 different. This smells like a light eau de legere version of YSL Black Opium ! Lasting power is not amazing , but decent .

I drank the booze and got lost in space. Falling from a cloud to a star, I reached the bottom, the one with the last taste of pulpy fruit. Liquor seeps through its veins. This place I've been before in a little suit. This makes me a seer.

I have to agree that this really is very reminiscent of YSL's Black Opium. A very affordable alternative. Highly recommend getting this one too

It really does smell a whole lot like YSL Black Opium! Longevity is not amazing but still for the price I think it's worth it.

smells like some bath and body works mist. Nothing interesting here and it lasts only 30 mins.
