HMNS Alpha initially captivated me with its bright, sweet citrus opening – an instant crowd-pleaser, reminiscent of those irresistible orange candies. It's the kind of fresh, energetic scent that perfectly complements a sunny day outdoors. However, its popularity became a double-edged sword. The fragrance's widespread appeal led to it becoming almost ubiquitous, and unfortunately, a target for counterfeiters. Despite its local origins, HMNS Alpha carries a premium price tag (around $AUD 35), making it a significant investment. Fortunately, I managed to snag it at a discount, which softened the blow. The dry-down reveals a calming woody-green facet, offering a welcome sense of tranquility after the vibrant opening. While I appreciate the scent profile, the longevity leaves something to be desired. Ultimately, I'd recommend HMNS Alpha only if you can secure it at a discounted price and are certain of its authenticity. Avoid the fakes; the genuine article, while flawed, is a distinct experience.

Had two bottles of this variant. Love the citrusy musky scent. Body-heat activated type. Sometimes it reminds me with Chanel Allure Homme Sport. A very safe scent for you, if you're looking for daily perfume.

I just received this today from my sister, she got it from Indonesia. I can't say much for now since it's still new to me, but so far, I'm really liking it. I enjoy the initial grassy scent, followed by the green tea note. I don't own many tea-based fragrances, so I'm happy to have one that features a noticeable tea scent. Overall, I'm happy with it. It's a great everyday fragrance if you just want to smell good without overthinking what to wear.

A very citrusy opening and dry down to a woody/musky fragrance, it's alright, nothing ground breaking but, nothings wrong also. A very easy to wear fragrance that possibly wouldn't offend anybody. The opening remind me a bit of Armaf CDNIM but this is WAY smoother. Overall, a great fragrance for it's price and serve it's purpose as a fresh fragrance.

this is a clone of chez bond. for the price value, i recommend getting this altho i heard some rumors about reformulations?

Kind of reminds me of Bond no 9 Scent of Peace in some way. Without the pineaple notes. With lots of alcohol.

I thought it would be a fresh green fragrance, instead it is a designer-ish sweet fruity fresh fragrance. The citrus note here might be a mix between grapefruit and a drop of blood orange. Sweet bubblegum and fruity instead of this zesty feel. Smells very prominent. There's no tea note I can detect from here, but perhaps it blends well with the sweety citrus making it a slight green nuance. The woody note listed here I believe is iso e super, projecting strong like a beast. Mass pleasing for sure. However, it is indeed a boring fragrance. Pretty versatile for any time but not in a bright sunny high heat day.

I received a sample, and I got to be honest. It smelled nicely fresh yet sort of generic. I love the green tea and citrusy notes at the beginning of the olfactive journey, but the opening was too intense for my liking. The earthy, woody base was lovely, and I would say it was the aspect I liked the best from Alpha. A friend of mine had one and wore it to a gathering, and the scent overpowered everyone else's fragrance. I could even still smell his perfume three or four hours after the event.

I'm gonna call this a "monday" fragrance. Bright woodsy notes, nothing special. This is basically a play-it-safe fragrance, mediocre everything. There is nothing "Alpha" about this, nothing stands out. Performance, scent, packaging, presentation, price, every bit of it is dialed to give you the straightest face possible. 6,8/10

The sweet orange / citruses feel like to start your morning day with smiling lion. Good for daily wear but nothing special. Also we had something cheaper on this fragrance called braven cool water. Rate 7/10 ✨

Fresh & Clean.. safe choice but nothing special IMHO

By far and away my favourite HMNS’ offering to date. Everything about Alpha is delicious; the tea, citruses and vetiver combine perfectly, providing the wearer a green, earthy and slightly sweet olfactory experience. Alpha is alluring, but relaxing at the same time — definitely suitable for a date, but I can’t think of a situation where I can’t wear it anyway. For USD25 this is a better value compared to Farhampton, which I own a full bottle of off a gift, but don’t really care much about. The longevity is around 5-6 hours with a moderate to low projection after 30 minutes. Granted, if Alpha lasts a couple of hours more, it would’ve been a 10. A big love.

Bought a discovery set when i was in Indonesia. Alpha smells clean and fresh. I do get a bit of a spa vibe from it. Very good for daily were and pretty okay performance in humid Indonesia. Unfortunately I probably have to go back to Asia for a full bottle as its not sold in Europe

Bought the decant and would like to cop the full bottle. It reminds me of Aigner Debut, in a good way. I can smell the lavender-like floral. Very calming. Definitely a unisex perfume.
