Essence of the Sun EOS

Bought some decant of EOS and fell in love. 2 years later, got it as a gift from my partner! The bottle itself is really pretty and goddess-like. It opens with exotic yet spicy type of scent, it's like you're in an expensive traditional spa at Bali. You'll get the yellow flower, jasmine, coconuty accord with a bit of spice to it but very subtle. Then it turns into this rich, creamy but also a bit fresh, but not so aquatic. It dries down to a rich coconuty/sun tan lotion scent with a bit of warm sweetness from the vanilla and tonka bean, but not yet gourmand. A very beautiful floral scent, and well blended. It may be too sweet for some people, therefore I recommend to wear this in a cloudy days so it won't cloy. This is my personal fav from the house. It's very nostalgic for me but I still couldn't remember the memory where I smell this scent before. (Maybe from the sunscreen i used to wear during my swimming course when i was younger). I love it!

First, i don't think i like it. Then i sniff other person wearing it, and i bought it right away.. Gosh it becoming my go-to-scent every-time i don't know what i'm gonna wear (among my 200is collection). Thank you for creating such a magical warm sensation of sun-rays that perfectly fitted for Jakarta & Bali

so freaking good. the sun-tan lotion/sunscreen vibe is my favorite DNA. A little bit more feminine, but i don't really care, i still would rock this as a man. wish it had a better performance though :(

This surprised me ! She's quite delicious ! Should be waaaaay above her price. She smells like the good version of Buontalenti. (That's an italian perfume from Florence 150$ and less well blended.) She's the best of the HMNS female fragrances, look no further, this smells expensive and beautiful. The best masculine or unisex fragrance from this house is Unpatched * try it ! Tongka woody musk chocolate smokey incense. Bali in a bottle. She's bright and solar but also graceful and refined. She's golden sunlight on fresh washed hair with some sweetness and "tropicality" to it. Super feminine but not cloying. The Jasmine is beautiful here 🌟 Perfect summer and sunny spring scent. Golden goddess ! I can't believe the price point 20$ !!!! Bottle feels luxurious too, I enjoy the magnetic cap and bottle ( I'm a very sensorial person also with packaging). If you like Jasmine and vanilla no brainer. Great formula, well balanced. If you like Blanche Bete, Vanilla Tana, Buontalenti, Soleil Blanc, Burberry Goddess, Her Confessions etc DNA She will steal your heart ! Plasticky but great !

I own 1 million parfum and I loved it, which I think has some similarities to this fragrance, from the potency and the DNA, but for some reason, I hate this fragrance. It's super sweet, super linear vanilla fragrance. The coriander comes off like an "oat-ish" smell on my skin which is kinda weird and off-putting. I do get the sun tan lotion ish on the opening as well, but after 15 minutes, the fragrance turns into a very sweet, almost sickeningly sweet vanilla scent. I do understand why people like this fragrance and for the money, it's a banger fragrance, but it's just not for me.

Have a love and hate relationship with this parfume. Doesn't mean I hate this frag, but not really my cup of tea. It opens with aromatic vanilla. After a while, the flowery notes start to dancing around, but not in girly way. In conclusion, it smells like you eat vanilla ice cream in the middle of flower field with sunshine on top of your head

The perfume that not for everyone. Somehow, some people said too sweet or too flowery. But for me, it's like sun tan lotion, creamy and kinda powdery, which I like. Perhaps, it's one of my signature scent. Suitable for daily activities. But idk, the fragrance doesn't last long on my body, stays on my skin for 4 hours. I hope more than that

i believe it is a unisex fragrance but it just doesn't work on my skin idk why. it stays on skin for 5-6 hours with moderate projection til the last moment. smells like a sun tan lotion and its perfect for summer holidays. i personally dont like it for daily in the heat as well as while its rainy or cold. i love it on my gf tho

Pretty good opening. Tried it in a mall and let it drydown. Yes it feels tropical, hints of coconut and Vanilla /sunscreen like. I'm male and I wouldn't wear this though. Feels well worth its price, but not much more.

It's beautiful, HMNS is elegant indonesian fragrance.. magnetic cap, EOS is creamy white floral vanilla frag. unique for me, when smell this.. i think about a mysterious smiling girl haha

I really disliked this at first. The bright spicy opening was busy and disorienting for me and the vanilla and solar florals were hitting me all at once, then left so abruptly, reduced to a hint, which all in all was leaving me disoriented. But I didn’t give up. I let it sit for a month in the drawer and taught my senses to appreciate spicy vanilla fragrances. After veering too much into vanilla gourmand territory overwhelmed with sticky sugary sweetness, I have decided to return to a comfortable medium by giving this scent one more try. I understood the qualities of this distinct beauty, much calmed down, after its brief maceration period, The bright and spice notes no longer shout in the opening, instead the welcome you gingerly then stay throughout the day. The vanilla, instead of forcefully taking over, would allow the solar florals time in the spotlight and would patiently await her turn. The whole performance then descend slowly but surely into its warm vanilla base peppered with ambery and woody notes. Time has turned this fragrance into something that is accessible, endearing, reliable and much loved. No wonder it has been such a runaway hit of this brand.

Creamy warm vanilla, not impressive nor offensive. Definitely a safe wear, casual, and suitable for like anyone regardless of their ages i guess.

Not my cup of tea, magically, my nose catch the smell more to tiare flower than jasmine, i don't know why

Got my full bottle yesterday. At first spritz it was magic, maybe the coriander and vanilla. However I had to spray it more than my usual fragrance wear to be able to smell that I wore this perfume. I'm not crazy about sillage projection etc but this frag is unnoticeable with my normal usage. Compared to CK Eternity and Kenzo Flower which are sillage monster with mega longevity, EOS is shy, unnoticeable, and not worth the hype.
