Sore Eterna

Unisex fragrance despite being inspired by a "wife" character (I heard the body mist version, Sore Žena, is more feminine). My mother said this smells masculine 😂 the woody-citrus opening might be the culprit. However I love this scent. Non-conventional kind of freshness with vanilla-like dry-down. EDIT: only last about 2 hours on dry skin, 4 hours after moisturized first, and up to 8 hours on clothes. the dry down on skin is more of sweet powdery, like a violet. safe daily fragrance.

Upon initial spray, what I mainly get is a combination of citrus, green-aromatic from petitgrain, musk, and a prominent peach note. It smells fresh, tart, and musky. As the fragrance develops, especially on my skin it starts to remind me strongly of the DNA of Marfa by Memo or S.O.T.B by SAFF & CO. which is a dupe of Marfa by Memo. The resemblance became so noticeable that I checked the note breakdown on both Fragrantica and the official website, and it turns out they share quite a few similar key notes: ylang-ylang, peach, sandalwood, cedarwood, and citrus. That being said, I would not call this a dupe. To my nose, it captures perhaps 30 to 40% of the Marfa DNA, particularly in the drydown. What makes it different is that Sore Eterna feels fresher, lighter, and significantly less sweet or cloying, while Marfa DNA is dominated with tuberose and heavy dose of sweetness from vanilla and sandalwood. As the citrus freshness, aromatic facets, and musk begin to fade, the fragrance transitions into a creamy floral drydown dominated by ylang-ylang and sandalwood. This is the stage where the resemblance to Marfa becomes most apparent. What I appreciate most about this fragrance is that it actually has a noticeable transition. It doesn’t feel linear. It begins as something fresh, tart, fruity, and musky, before gradually transforming into a creamy floral scent in the heart and base. Overall, this is a fragrance with a very pleasant transition. It moves from a fresh and uplifting opening into a creamy floral drydown without becoming cloying or entering gourmand territory. Considering the price point, I think it’s a very solid release. Even if you already own Marfa or S.O.T.B. i wouldn’t consider this redundant. If you enjoy the combination of ylang-ylang, sandalwood, and citrus, this fragrance offers its own unique interpretation of that style. Longevity is quite decent on my skin, lasting around 5 to 6 hours. My only slight disappointment is that, especially on my skin, the fragrance quickly shifts into its creamy ylang-ylang and woody phase. While I enjoy that part of the scent, I personally prefer the opening, where the citrus, peach, and aromatic petitgrain facets feel brighter and more vibrant. On paper and on clothes, that fresh opening seems to last much longer, whereas on my skin it transitions rather quickly into the creamy floral drydown that once again reminds me of the Marfa DNA which is kinda mainstream in Indonesia. TL;DR: Fresher more musky & aromatic take on Marfa by Memo DNA (not a dupe) Unisex with slight fem leaning 8/10

decent clean floral creamy perfume. 8/10

At first sniff, it smells like a typical white floral perfume. Not like jasmine, more like Murraya paniculata or Mirabilis jalapa. I’m fairly certain, because my mother used to grow these flowers in our yard. I imagine a young woman in a summer dress standing on a cliff, enjoying the late-morning sun of a calm dry-season day.
