what sweet fresh hell has Marina Hoermanseder and the 2 pilots team unleashed? (affectionate) cause really, how did they capture the Berlin rave gay scent sans the cigarettes? so I’ve always seen these at the Rossmann and Douglas shops, and I haven’t really been into the whole “light fresh molecular scent” things since I got glossier you (I love you girl but I need MORE) and gone to the lush side of perfumes (even SHADE is gorgeously rich enough to stand up to everyone else) so atelier x-berg wasn’t on my list, even if the bottle is so cunty. but recently, I’ve noticed the dark bottle with the weird cherry red juice and I’ve been wanting it, especially reading the notes. a warm animalic vanilla? god willing give it to me NOW! so after a recent paycheck, I grabbed her for a discount and went to stepping. first off, quite similar to big (lush) and l’interdit, in the sense that there is this juicy grape soda/orange juice note in the beginning. the neroli/orange blossom is working overtime here, and boy is she GUNNING for the top spot. spraying this was like drenching yourself in nectar. that initial sweet blast was like spilling a cocktail down your tits and letting it dry. the real fun comes after that sweet blast goes away. it starts to turn similar to scandal where it’s a white floral drenched in honey, but in a sweaty way. there’s a hit of alcoholic in there, like someone popped (ha!) open a fresh bottle of poppers in the club, but the leather sort of stays firmly behind, a sort of couture leather scent that may waft from a slightly new bag or an untrimmed harness. glazed donut twink and his leather daddy boyfriend about to do unholy things in the bathroom stall kinda vibes. 2 pilots and their perfumers have a distinct dna that kinda shows through here; I’ve smelled this in the rammstein perfumes, the Motörhead perfumes, Dita, etc, and it’s so familiar yet indescribable. whatever it is, it pops up in the heavier dry down. the perfume gets dirty yall! she gets SWEATY! it’s the oakmoss that gets it going, similar to that unwashed jockstrap smell from halston. it’s stale in a good way, like unwavering dancer sweat and a cool rush that troye sivan would sing about. there’s something nutty in there, possibly the unlisted on fragrantica note of olive wood. whatever the case, it devolves to a lightly sweet, heavily sweaty, “drying up in the smoking lounge” scent. vanilla plays a central role in this, lending a sweeter and lighter gauze effect that graces the skin, and boy do I mean SKIN. smelling this in the crooks of my elbow after sleeping in it smells like the aftermath of a party. longevity is average but sillage is BIG, I wore this for a hosting event and everyone was sniffing me. it’s not the most classy fragrance but it does remind me of how the drag dressing room at schwuz smells like. sweaty, sweet, and slightly dirty. not sure I LOVE this one but it’s a solid like and a solid reach for an almost rocker everyday scent.

Cloyingly sweet once applied, it has enormous body that fades slowly, I wouldn't recommend going to town with the spritzing, 2 pumps and I'm choking 😬 More of an autumn/winter scent.
