Summer Break

This one surprised me. I’m usually a little wary of fruity perfumes....especially peach. They can so easily go syrupy, shampoo-y, or your typical air freshener vibes. But Summer Break doesn’t do any of that. It opens with a soft, clean peach more like peach skin than juice. There’s a bit of green, maybe even something slightly herbal, that keeps it grounded. It’s not trying to be flirty or loud. Honestly, it smells like the kind of person who packs light and always knows where they put their sunscreen. The first hour is calm and a little creamy. It kind of makes me think of warm skin after a day outside. Not beachy exactly, but sun-warmed. Gentle, intimate. You might not even notice it unless you’re close. I also enjoy the dry down. It melts into this soft coconut-musk skin scent. Like your skin but smoother, quieter, maybe just a little sweeter. There’s a whisper of warmth that stay, but doesn’t get sticky or overdone. It doesn’t last forever (about 4–5 hours), but weirdly, I don’t mind. It’s the kind of scent that feels okay to reapply. It’s not about lasting all day, it’s about how it makes you feel while it’s there. I sometimes layer it with something woody if I want it to carry into the evening. Summer Break isn’t groundbreaking. But it’s easy to wear, attractive and genuinely comforting in a way I didn’t expect. It feels like something I’d wear on a quiet day when I want to feel soft and put together but not like I’m trying too hard Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you’ve outgrown sugary body sprays but still want something playful without being obnoxious.
