Pure Cali

If you miss any of the fruity Escada releases from the mid-2000s (Pacific Paradise, Sunset Heat, etc), or some of the lighter/fruity-er Juicy Couture releases, you'll love this. It's soft, fruity, sweet, feminine, and nostalgic. This smells like the 2000s "it girl" perfume - some preppy/popular girl that you'd smell walking past you in your high school hallway on the way to class, wishing you could be as cool as she was. The pineapple and waterlily notes were actually so well-blended that my first thought when sniffing was "fruity-fresh shampoo", and it even tricked my nose into thinking it might have been a fruity-violet blend. To me it's comforting, but definitely sweet so I can't spray much - so if that's not your thing, maybe try it in one of Hollister's stores first to check how you tolerate it. I think it's perfect for spring - girly, flirty, carefree. Projects well, longevity is surprisingly great - it's been about 5 hours since spraying and it smells almost as strong as when I first sprayed. For $30, this is a high performer!

Pineapple 🍍 fun! This is a great easy scent for spring and summer! It’s not the highest quality but it’s fun and flirty. It would be a great scent for a pool party or a bbq on the beach. I would definitely pack this for a tropical vacation. It’s inexpensive where you don’t have to worry about losing it, and you can just toss it in your beach bag. This is taking me back to my late teens and early 20s. I’m pretty sure I had some kind of lotion that smelled just like this. I will use this up this summer for casual daytime!

I got this at the mall when it was on sale. Fell in love with it because I never had a perfume with a pineapple note before. Refreshing scent. You can definitely smell the pineapple in this perfume. When I have to go to my anatomy lab at the college, I wear this because it is not overbearing since we all sit very close to each other. I do not want to disturb others with such a strong perfume. Overall, nice soft pineapple scent for the summer.

Too sweet for me, but it is nice and summery. I would wear it to the beach, put it on after a shower or use it as room spray. Can't see myself wearing it to work or to a party. It does have that Hollistery smell so if you are into that then you will love it!

Sweet pineapple shampoo. One of that cheap scents that stand next to check out. Good for 10 years old girls, but even for my daughter I’d buy something less chemical

Not bad at all. Simple, unpretentious. Clean pineapple. It's ok. Pineapple is most prominent but soft not sharp.

this is one of my all-time favorite perfumes. if i could, i'd bathe in it. this takes me back to when i was younger and had no worries. it's perfect for any time of day. close your eyes and picture yourself relaxing on a beach, the sun kissing your skin. the breeze blowing through your hair. this is where this perfume takes me. very feminine, but bold. i don't like wearing it out, because people always ask me what i'm wearing and i don't like telling them. i like to feel as though this is my little secret. i absolutely love love love this perfume.

Just a little review to share that PURE CALI by Hollister is extremely similar, in my opinion, to ED HARDY HEARTS and DAGGERS. They both smell like a tropical fruity drink with a burst of sweet pineapple and strawberry soda with a bubbly base. PURE CALI also reminds me of the following fragrances: - SJP NYC by Sarah Jessica Parker - ED HARDY LOVE IS If you enjoy fragrances that smell like a tropical fruit punch on a bubbly base, then I think you will enjoy PURE CALI!
