I have never blind bought a fragrance before this one, and I couldn't be more delighted with taking this risk. On initial spray you feel slightly overwhelmed, like you snuck one of your parents boozy chocolate covered cherries and it's too much at first, but then the more you chew (sniff) you start to feel grown enough to handle it. The sexy milk chocolate starts to mellow, and you ride the waxy cherry chapstick vibe for awhile before drying down into something so balanced and mature you forget you're only 17. This one, similar to Banane Au Chocolat by Teddy the Perfumer, has even helped me come around to patchouli. It's an elegant and smooth patchouli, and perfectly rounds out the sweetness of the dessert style opening. Sprayed around 7pm and could still smell it the next morning, but without being cloying or oppressive. Can we get it in 100ml?

I received a sample of this today from small aromas and I could cry. I don’t know why it’s making me emotional? In a good way? It doesn’t smell how I expected it to in the best way possible. For me i am picking up most heavily on the nutty and boozy notes, but the freshness from the cherry really brightens and lifts everything. It smells so nostalgic yet I don’t get anything juvenile from it personally. It is so sexy and unique to me, it feels mature but still playful. Only way I feel I could describe it is it smells like womanhood. I actually really wish I just blind bought a bottle now instead of being careful !! I cant wait till they restock this beautiful scent.

Centerfold smells exactly like its title. It’s the fantasy of being a Playboy centerfold back in the day. Soft focus lighting, satin sheets, almond liqueur in a crystal glass. There’s a decadence here that feels flirtatious but private, like being adored from afar. It opens with a gorgeous, syrupy amaretto — sweet but not juvenile — and melts into something plush and chocolatey. Then, slowly, the woods creep in, grounding it all in a soft, sensual haze. It’s warm, nostalgic, and dreamy. Centerfold is for people who want their scent to invite attention (in a good way). Vintage without being dusty/sweet without being saccharine. Absolutely gorgeous!

Summer 2006. You're lying on your stomach on fluffy beige wall-to-wall carpeting at your Nana's house, reading her tabloids and kicking your feet. You're grabbing tootsie rolls from the glass bowl on her coffee table and freeing them from their thin plasticky papers. You're chewing them slowly and imagining what it's like to be sixteen. The tootsies coat your mouth in a foamy faux-chocolate lacquer. You wash it down with sips of cold Ovaltine. You apply cherry chapstick in between chews. Centerfold is a sweet but well-balanced chocolate-cherry gourmand that will make you feel unstoppable. Are your legs feeling longer? Hair shinier? Personality suddenly carefree and cool? Sexy enough to be printed and worshipped in a glossy magazine? That's the Centerfold effect: you feel like an it-girl. Photorealistic dark chocolate meets sticky-sweet maraschino cherry that stays grounded and wearable with earthy patchouli, musk, and warm nuts. Just yum.

I love Centerfold so much, it's too dreamy. I sprayed this morning and am still enjoying her into the late afternoon. She starts off with a delicious cherry-chocolate-patchouli haze and dries down to the most beautiful, powdery cocoa musk I've ever smelled. A gorgeous alchemy.

This smells IDENTICAL to the cherry cordials from the grocery store! Honestly I really like this, but it would be for a nighttime special occasion moment for me :)

The best most beautiful dry down of any fragrance I’ve ever experienced. So so so so SO GOOD! Cherry musk heaven.

A half eaten chocolate covered strawberry lays nearby as you pull your hot pink spandex over your thighs. Another canister of hairspray emptied and you feel alive. The night is young. (also love how Hilde Soliani coded this bottle is!)

You're at a Christmas party wearing Mon Guerlain. There's a booze cart and a dessert table with a big chocolate yule log. Somebody kissed you and you can still feel their chapstick. You smell coats and purses that have been in in storage all winter. Kind of tacky and fancy at the same time. Good sillage and longevity, and surprisingly, not headache inducing. It's good, I think?

I like that this smells tacky. It's camp. It smells like waxy chocolate covered fresh cherries. For me, it's just a little too unsweetened. I wish it crossed over the edge to more of a maraschino cherry than a fresh one. But it's a really beautiful and unique scent!

A cherry lip smackers chapstick... not until the dry down was it tolerable. Extremely sticky sweet opening. Synthetically sweet from beginning to end. Chocolate covered gummy bear.

I like it. It’s a good, classic chocolate patchouli. The chocolate is strong in the beginning, but for the the dry down is a basic (but solid and generally appealing) patchouli.

I ordered a sample of this from Lucky Scent, and I was so excited to try it.. what a let down. I’m not getting that chocolate cherry note that others are getting. I’m actually getting a cheese note on my skin! By body chemistry hates this scent unfortunately

@toni099 I also got a CHEESE smell. So did my husband. He said it smelled of cheese and strawberries. This was on a paper strip, not on skin. The notes sounded nice but all together it doesn't work for me personally.

Cant tell if I love or hate this but if you want to smell like those mini chocolate liquor bottles then this is the closest you'll get/ (Alcoholic aunts who only smoke camel crushes this one is for you)

I was expecting this to be an instant love, but it’s a definite no for me! The reviews made this out to be better than it is.... As a lover of gourmands and especially cherry fragrances, this isn’t a cherry fragrance at all. I get zero cherry. It would be a stretch to call this a gourmand either. In the opening spray I get a plastic chocolate scent. The amaretto then appears and this part is nice, but very short lived. The dry down to me is patchouli, cheap chocolate and a hint of strawberry lipstick. Very synthetic smelling. As a 80’s kid I don’t find this nostalgic what so ever, and I’m sorry to say this is overpriced for what it is. I’m so relieved I didn’t blind buy this one.

Centerfold is straight up fun. Completely nostalgic, a little cheeky, and undeniably sexy. It smells like chocolate covered cherry ChapStick with a splash of amaretto and praline. The “pretty girl musk” is flirty and coy girl sexy. There’s an old glossy magazine undertone slightly plasticky, in the best way, perhaps from the styrax... a tinge of soft leather too. Patchouli is present but not overpowering, just enough to give the sweetness a bit of grounding. From the first spritz to the final drydown, Centerfold is playful, sweet, and nostalgic. Dorothy Stratten is the perfect face for this scent. A quote of hers appears in the fragrance description headline saying “It’s a fantasy. The girl in the centerfold doesn’t exist. She’s like a dream.” Stratten, Playmate of the Year 1980, was herself the epitome of fantasy..beautiful, unattainable, and tragically gone too soon, forever frozen as the dream girl. What a haunting and telling quote, no doubt. I imagine this is what her purse might have smelled like, warm, worn leather softened by the sun, with cherry chapstick rolling around inside, crushed pralines, almond brittle and chocolates melting in their wrappers. Maybe the faint stickiness of amaretto spilled from last night’s party at the Mansion clings to the lining, mixing with glossy magazines thinned from thumbing through. It’s playful and glamorous, but with a little shadow in the corners, just like the myth of the centerfold and the story of Dorothy Stratton herself. The girl in the magazine may not have truly existed, but Centerfold captures a trace of her, bright, sweet, impossible to hold onto... a fantasy thats still lingering in the air long after she’s gone❤️ Ps, I love this scent so dang much, I’ve asked for a back up bottle for Christmas. It’s damn good!

Tacky chocolate cherry cordial heart shaped Valentine’s Day gift purchased from Walgreens, given to you one day after Valentine’s Day. But don’t worry, this only lasts the first few moments... then it turns into a new life, a new chapter of self love. Blocked him. Then you get a sweet plush cherry musk, soft ambrette, shiny hair, new hott body and expensive gloss. This scent is sad (to me) at first, then it’s pretty afterwards! It’s also super strong! I feel like it’s a novelty perfume which is why it probably has a cute novelty type bottle.

Gorgeous fragrance that takes you on a journey. It starts with a soft chocolate note and a hint of cherry (I’m not usually a fan of cherry fragrances but this is subtle and sublime)... as it dries down, there is a hint of mimosa, almond, and praline and finally, a creamy musk that is sweetly naive. This is a truly unique “pretty girl” fragrance; sweet (but not too sweet), soft (but not boring) and unlike anything in my collection. Longevity is decent at 6-8 hours.

I am obsessssed with the dry down of this perfume. I ordered a sample off Luckyscent and fell in love. I decided I’m buying a FB tomorrow. This is THE ultimate doll head scent. Reminds me of a 90s plastic baby doll that’s chocolate scented with cherries. It’s waxy, artificial,wearable, and CAMP. If you love MZ’s Annabelle’s Birthday Cake or HS’s Fraaaagolaa Salaaataa, or Hanae Mori’s Blue Butterfly you will absolutely love this.

It really is 80s sexpot glam in a bottle. Syrupy, sweet, nutty, fruity and unrestrained. But what I love about centerfold is that despite all the bold gourmand notes, it’s not cloying— no car air freshener here. Instead it dries down to a very pretty, soft, sweet cherry/chocolate/lipgloss type scent. The musk here is like a soft pillow around all of the drama. Centerfold is a hedonistic playful sexy dream!

This smells like a date you don’t want to end. You linger over a shared piece of chocolate lava cake getting drunker on digestives neither of you needs. Red lipstick still perfect on your face. Flirting like you don’t know what’s happening next. This is sexy, boozy, and velvety. The perfect going out for a night of zero regrets scent.

The drydown of this is so comforting and nostalgic. It does start off with a little bit of a sweeter dense chocolate scent but that flirty sweetness moves into a very cherry or strawberry lip smackers realm that is comforting!

Opening smells like boozy cherry cordials, dry down smells like Strawberry Shortcake dolls. It's fun but not for me.
