Review based on gifted sample. Spikenard is an interesting note, one that I have not previously sought to test. It gives the fragrance sort of a hard herbal edge that sends things into masculine territory. So it is not as sweet or floral as I would have thought based on the notes, but still an interesting, rich scent.

Definitely has a middle eastern vibe. It’s slightly spicy, citrusy, but fresh and mildly sweet. Upon first spray you’re hit with the orange and frankincense. The mango, jasmine, and honey keep it from being too spicy and earthy, so it can be worn in the upcoming summer months. I’m not sure what nard smells like, but I think that’s what gives this an earthy vibe in the dry down. Perfectly unisex, I don’t see this leaning neither masculine nor feminine. Because of the botanicals used, this doesn’t last long nor project. I like it but don’t see myself buying a full bottle for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a middle eastern type fragrance that’s not overwhelmingly spicy.

I won one of the discovery sets given away recently on Fragrantica. This is the second best of the three in the set. Very nice scent that leans more feminine with the jasmine, orange and honey. My soon to be wife is torn between this and Proverbs 31 to be worn on our wedding day May 31st. Powerful, sweet and lasts a great deal of time for being all natural oils.
