Quelques Rose

This is a delightful, slightly soapy, fruity (berries) and floral perfume. Not getting much rose in this. More a mixed bouquet. It becomes powdery on the dry down. Some here said it reminded them of what you would find in bath products, and I think that is true. It reminds me a little bit of scented bath balls. My sister said she could smell the rose off me, which I found strange since I couldn't. Edit - 2/3/19 - I tried this again and got the same mixed bouquet and berry scent but when I walked out the door in the cold air it exploded into a bouquet of powdery roses. I could clearly smell it all around me as I went about my business. I'm still getting faint wisps of it now hours later but now it is joined by other flowers. Lovely, baby pink roses and white flowers. I really like what I smell right now. I just wish it smelled like this all the time. I find it strange that I can't pick up the roses in this all the time considering the name of the fragrance. Edit 12/5/23 - Wearing this today after not wearing it in a long time, and first off, I am amazed at the silage and longevity. Not a beast, but it literally lasts all day. But the most surprising thing is that I am also smelling the original scent, Quelques Fleurs, in this too. Unlike so many flankers from other scents, I can definitely tell that it is from the same line.

I found this beauty after falling head over heels for Quelques Fleurs in the vintage EDP formulation. If you are familiar with QF, and a fan of roses, you will love this. Just like Quelques Fleurs, which smells like a bouquet of wildflowers, this also smells like wildflowers and white roses. I have white roses planted all around my house and I love how at night, they are more potent, which is why I love to sleep with the windows open. The first time I wore this perfume, I sampled it just before bed and as I was drifting off, I just couldn't believe how gorgeous my roses smelled!! I thought to myself that I don't remember them ever being so fragrant, and then I realized that it was this perfume and not the roses outside. That's how beautiful this is!

This is a big bunch of roses and flowers, including white flowers. They are vivid, like in the wild rather than in a vase. It is different from other rose perfumes. When it dries, I always smell white flowers, such as gardenia, but it is not mentioned in the notes. I have owned it for nearly 15 years, but recently I have cast my eyes on it. Beautiful!

Beautiful, elegant, real rose, and very floral, feminine perfume. I think it's really gorgeous! Soft, powdery after a while, and gentle. Very beautiful.

I get no rose up front in this. It is not a jammy rose like Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose, Lush or Tauer. This is a dry white floral that is very pretty and a little sharp on the dry down with a huge burst of fruit in the opening.
