Tabac Nomade

This is a brilliant tobacco, earthy, leafy and smoky. If they included boozy notes and honey I’d believe them. There’s some associations I get here, this has the Tobacolor effect, it’s smoky, ashy and honeyed. I could also briefly feel a BR vibe, like a crystallised sweetness most likely coming from the saffron. But that’s where it ends. They don’t smell alike, and funny enough those are the associations I get with Tobacolor also. I get a sparkling booziness. It’s fizzy smelling and sugary. If the notes said rum and champagne, again I’d believe them. This is where I get Rivalite Imperiale by plume Impression vibes. They also share similar notes. Then the base is rounded off with a leather, Tonka and vanilla blend. Despite all the comparisons, and as a tobacco lover, this is still good enough, and unique enough to warrant owning. But that’s just me, I’m not your financial advisor. I do however highly recommend you trying this.

I hope this never gets the hype it truly deserves. Give it 5 years or so though, and this will be one of those fragrances people are discovering as a "hidden gem". I got a sample, gave it a full wear, then immediately picked up a full bottle. If it popped up on discounters, I would pick up a back up bottle so quick! Blonde tobacco & saffron balanced with rose & vanilla. I love the way this smells on my skin and, in every stage of development, it's impressive. In the air, it smells as smooth as warm cashmere feels and with a brightness I usually get from fragrances with a champagne accord. I can see this working year round and complimenting any outfit from business casual on up. Its elegant yet versatile with the perfect sillage. Once again, I hope this never gets the hype it truly deserves. I don't need everybody to smell like this and I'd love the price to drop so I can pick up 1-2 more bottles.

WOW , Amazing Fragrance ! Elegant, Classy, Spicy, Airy, Modern and Complex. You can't go wrong with it, I tried it in store and I received a sample of that. This perfume has High Quality Composition and Well-blended. Tabac Nomade was on my Radar and I bought it after two weeks. I fell in love with it at first sniff. It opens up with slightly sweet creamy citrusy, fruity, floral rose and spices notes in the background then dry down is semi sweet Vanilla, Tobacco , Ambery and Leathery . This is perfect for the Spring, Fall and Winter, Longevity is very good. The Leather, Rose ,Tobacco Leaf and Vanilla notes are dominant in this perfume. Highly Recommended. Two Thumbs Up. Okay - after a thorough wear of this frag, i can definately say it is ETERNAL. I sprayed it on my hand yesterday around 4 pm, and can by now still smell it like a soft vanilla, with hints of tobacco. This stuff is magical and defo lasts. It opens up bright and floral, then later settles like a candy ish tobacco, and when you hit the 5-6 hour mark its more of a slightly leathery, creamy, tobac scent. It is honestly amazing, despite this being the first tobac fragrance i smelled. I will buy the full bottle next week for sure. It says that there is saffron, but i dont really get that at all. This is NOT a safe blind buy, and its an aquired taste.

Alright people, short and sweet, this is a cheaper and less complex alternative to Dior Tobacolor. I'm not throwing shade, I really wanted to love this. I've not had much luck with houbigant smell-wise but I really like those art nouveau bottles, alas this isn't it for me. HOWEVER it is a good fragrance people! Just not one that does its own thing. But if you like Tobacolor or that awful kilian shisa thing, but hate the price, this is for you! In my neck of the woods I can get it for about 100 euros on the grey, these days that price is basically a unicorn. Hope this helps, that's what I aim for with my reviews.

Excellent opening, it has a lot of very robust, smoky tobacco and spice in a way that feels similar to the kind of tobacco you'd smoke in a pipe, but it's elegantly controlled (so unlike something like Red Tobacco, this one doesn't feel like it's assaulting you). Although I usually am not a fan of tonka, the tonkabean does help support the tobacco and make it very smooth. I did have to wait some time (1-2 hours) on skin before the vanilla notes started to become more noticeable. If you like a good tobacco that's not sticky-sweet, this is going to be right up your alley.

Here we fly... Exceptional. I have no words to describe it, short and citrusy opening, heart composed of a very delicate, pleasant and not loud tobacco, accompanied by leathery notes and vanilla. A marvel, you can feel it, it has a trail, it is persistent. Perfect. And when something strikes me like this, there's no point in dwelling on descriptions. On wishlist, I love it. Exceptional for autumn and winter. “Mary Magdalene in ecstasy” by Caravaggio, I feel a little like it right now, I'm entranced.

Mmmmmmmm absolutely delicious tobacco scent!!! It has also the qualities of a wet booze tobacco with some sweet, dark, slightly animatic qualities. Very creamy, lots of tonka/Coumadin and almonds heliotrope. Not very Smokey; I’d even say there’s some anise here. The rose oil? You can pick it up, gives it a fruity tone. A nice, somewhat edible, sweet, silky, creamy, almonds tobacco approach that, in my opinion, undoubtedly has some vintage aspects.

Tabac Nomade is a winner...tobacco, saffron, vanilla, and maybe a pinch of leather...doesn’t play games...the tobacco is prominent, no hidden tobacco tucked away here...also doesn’t go into the “kool aid” territory that a lot of these tobacco fragrances go...powerful & unapologetic...big fan!

Opening starts off kinda harsh with robust tobacco, spices, and leather, and some bergamot in the background. The harshness mellows out into a smooth, Side Effect-like scent with added vanilla. Very realistic tobacco leaf in this, you can almost taste it.

Beautiful fragrance. Well blended and well done. Absolutely enormous projection. Sadly, it’s too sweet for my taste. If you like sweet tobacco fragrances this is a must have.

Finally, it's official now. Very good Tobacco perfume. To me, it sits between Dior Tobacolor and 18.21 man-made sweet tobacco. They share some similarities.

This in incredible. Even for someone who owns multiple high end tobacco based frags. Almost a creamy claylike vibe. Sweet, buttery smooth tobacco. 9/10

Tabac nomade is a very warm spicy and tobacco fragrance. Although it's a tobacco fragrance it is like a crystal, it is smooth, radiant, and crystalline feeling. Besides tobacco, warm spices and saffron are the two important notes in this fragrance. It's not an ashy or burnt or rough type of tobacco. The scent gives me the feeling of bright red color like molten glass. Interestingly, the brand describes the fragrance as reminiscent of a sunset in the wild desert. This is exactly the concept for Sundowner, another tobacco fragrance, which is my favorite. The fragrance is created very masterfully, it's very well-blended, and the notes are in harmony. It's very strong. If you like strong fragrance, I highly recommend this one. 8/10

I've tried this yesterday and let me start by saying that on my skin the longevity and sillage was beast mode, 2 sprays on my wrist and I was getting wiffs trhoughout the evening, really impressive. Regarding the scent, it is a very well balanced sweet tobacco scent. I was getting a really nice and well done blend of sweet and creamy base, bridged by a powdery spice (probably the saffron but I don't really know what saffron smells like) leading to a dry, clean and warm tobacco leaf. If you are searching for a sweet, warm and creamy tobacco fragrance, give this a try, it is really well blended and elevated. IMO very nice quality

Tabac Nomade is far from being a generic tobacco fragrance; the note smells like the leaves (tabac brun) drying on racks and baled after the late Summer harvest in S.W. France. Aromatic and resinous; slightly intoxicating; the scent of ash already prefigured in the rich brown raw material. There is leather here too but in a very well behaved incarnation. Tonka, saffron and vanilla are well balanced but of bergamot and rose my nose can discern no trace. An elegant invention and eminently wearable. I like it very much.

Once you get through the difficult opening you're left with a strong saffron with a tobacco undertone that I just can't stop smelling on my skin! If you spray this one 20-30 minutes before going out, it's worth the wait. Not blind buy worthy, but the lighter take on tobacco makes for a unique and special scent. I get 2-3 hours of great performance, followed by a moderate bubble for the next 4 hours afterwards.

I get the first four notes in abundance. This is really nice. It projects well and 12 hours later I am still aware of it. After sitting on the shelf for a couple of months the rose is much more noticeable.
