Vanille Imperiale

I find this perfume very attractive. It is versatile, suitable whenever i want to wear it. Not too vanillic, not too floral, everything is balanced for me. And it is actually quite elegant perfume. Yes it's similar to Gentle Fluidity Gold, but if GFG is very weak for me (incredible smell though), then Vanille Imperiale I can smell many hours (6-7, maybe even more). A fluffy take Spiritueuse Double Vanille. Very pretty. Year round type fluffy vanilla that’s not too heavy.

Overrated, masculine , citrusy and animalic vanilla. The blood orange and dirty earthy notes overpower the vanilla. The vanilla itself is mediocre plasticky vanillin.

Une grosse déception, ce parfum est une bombe de tubéreuse qui fait que la fragrance est beaucoup trop féminine et vieillotte. Et puis la tubéreuse ca sens la vieille femme ... Une odeur de grand mère qui se parfume à l'excès et étouffe tout le monde autour d'elle . Le nom du parfum est trompeur ! Il aurait du se nommer ' Tubéreuse impérial ' je me suis fait avoir 😅 La vanille est certe presente mais elle se fait littéralement écraser par la tubéreuse et le jasmin... Cette association est juste repoussante , je déconseille à part si vous avez plus de 70 ans et 4 petits enfants 😉 ou que vous adorez la tubéreuse 😵

all three fragrances in this series have absolutely toxic amberwoody note, that kills my sense of smell and gives me headaches. do not buy blindly. do not buy just by brief smelling the paper strip. please try it on skin, let it stay there at least for 10 minutes.

I strongly dislike this. I find the amberwood very harsh and headachey. It makes Intense Cafe smell like natural perfumery in comparison.

ooh first review. Well..you can tell this is from the same house as the magnolia.. there's something very similar in the base (guessing the ambrette)... it's quite warm. I didn't notice any blood orange or jasmine... it's mostly a bourbon vanilla to me with something just slightly sparkling that was also in the magnolia and peony scents from this year and last. I would have been tempted to say pear, but pear isn't listed. Think warm autumnal vanilla (that despite what I've said so far does *not* come across as particularly sweet). I like that it comes in the 8ml size too like all of the new red range. Absolutely perfect for this time of year and it lasts well too (there is the tiniest smidge of something ambroxan-like in it.. which I have noticed more in the air when othes are wearing it with a more heavy hand than I do).

I get mostly rose, musk, and amber, which is very similar to MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold (GFG). I have the same issue with GFG as well; the vanilla does not come out on me, instead I get the juniper/coriander. Over time, my GFG has changed, and it's less spicy, but it's still not a vanilla-forward scent on me. The longevity on this seems very good.

mmmmm Yes, it kinda smells like Gentle fluidity gold but this one is stronger and muskier, more potent and dirtier, I guess what I feel is just the Ambergris bitchslapping me, if you like this vibe go for it because is amazing, not for me I ́m basic.

totally MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold, Ariana Grande Vanilla Suede, and a distant distant cousin of Guerlain Cuir Beluga

Opens very vanilla but eventually turns to Intense Cafe or one of her numerous sistees. Totally redundant.

Nothing unique, but so feminine. I got a sample of it, and it earn my attention.
