I don't even know where to start with this bottle. It is stunning, a piece of art in it's own right. By no means light, at 740g it is a luxurious statement piece. For me, a bottle is a big part of buying a fragrance so I couldn't really go wrong with this one, but it still blew me away! It arrived safely packaged in a wooden case, no case could ever be worthy of this bottle, but I like the individuality of everything from HoA, the packaging isn't mass produced and immaculate, it's custom made, simple but effective, and original. Now the fragrance.. a captivating Cacao opening, not a gourmand chocolate but more like a raw cocoa scent, it's a soft opening with a green note, a leafy scent that I can't pinpoint but it adds a slight bitterness that compliments the cacao well. The opening is very alluring, I couldn't stop smelling myself! It quickly develops into a beautiful soft violet body, sweeter than the opening with subtle hints of blueberry coming through. If only I could bottle the 15 mins where the initial Cacao transitions into violet and repeat the cycle all day. The berry note is photorealistic but faint, a spritz of juice rather than a concentrated extract. This isn't a sweet fruity perfume, Violet is the star of the show here and it shines bright! It's layered, powdery and then sweet, but it's always subtle. The light, powdery Violet makes it lean slightly feminine but the Cacao adds a depth to the dry down. I'm a man in his 30s and I'll be wearing it! I wish the Cacao accord lasted longer, it's addictive. The longevity overall is good for this scent profile. It's not designed to be a powerful, beast mode fragrance, instead it's a delicate, sensual experience. An intimate scent that I'd wear on a date or a special occasion. Also, the process of ordering this perfume, in its magnificent bottle isn't a one-click operation like a designer scent. It's part of an experience. Over the last 4 or 5 weeks I have got to know the perfumer as she has hand cut my bottle, we've discussed her perfumes and her glasswork, but also we've discussed the small things, daily life and exchanged Christmas wishes. Her service has been beyond amazing and I feel like I have left with a personal piece of art and a friend! If you're out there thinking of trying House of Atropa then please do, you won't regret it. I will be back for He Is Fish next time ❤️

I am the creator:) I can say, this bottle is really very heavy and of course, not very convenient. But... I made it this way, because it reflects the fresh and piercing character of the perfume itself. And it shines beautiful under the sun beams:)

got the perfume,, it smells just as you would it expect it to based off of solely looking at the notes. it definitely has a unique smell you wouldn't find in another perfume; its amazing !! ^▽^

wonderful bottle, and gorgeous display, I would love to find a bottle like this some time soon!

I received this sample with an order, it is very grape forward, then quickly changes and I pick up the davana, chocolate, truffle, and violet. This almost has a grape tea smell to it. Never smelt anything like it before.

Interesting one. There's a powdery green violet and sweet fruity grape in the opening that blends into an earthy, dry chocolate and floral violet scent. The grape fades a bit and the blueberry comes in and pairs so well with the dark chocolate and cacao. Every note here amplifies another note. As someone else said, I couldn't stop smelling myself. Sweet, earthy, fruity with just a touch of green. My only wish is that the top and middle lasted longer! Very nice.

I dearly wish to try this as well as He is Fish and She is Fish. I'm definitely in my fish era. I did look at the site for how to buy but the shipping method is ambiguous. Does anyone have more details about what to expect from a purchase? I have never ordered anything international to US before. I have the money and desperately want the bottles but dearly wish for samples first.

the bottle is literally so beautiful omggg. i have never seen a perfume bottle that stunning and have such a creative design. but from the looks of who has the perfume and who wants it....well....looks like no ones actually gotten their hands on this 😭😭. but from the notes it probably smells good asf. i deadass need this perfume so mf badlyyy

I love art and fragrances; when both worlds converge, it’s always a fulfilling experience. But this...this bottle design seems impractical....
