Pegasus' Food - fruity, sweet and woody with a hit of camphor! This one opens with a 'fizzy' peach accord and a sweet lemon note that projects well from my skin. Gives off a vibe almost similar to a Sherbet sweet or fizzy lemonade.. Perhaps that's how Pegasus starts a meal? After about 10 mins the lemon sweetness fades and a prominent anise note rises to the top. I might be biased here, but I just love the aniseed and fruit combo, its a therapeutic smell that I just can't stop sniffing! As it settles an earthy oud note seeps through, and camphor appears. It's quite an opposite note to the sweetness in the opening and it cuts through the smooth fruity body leaving a pungent mossy edge. 45 minutes in and Pegasus is a smooth and sweet, alluring fragrance but with a contrasting oud note to it, it's not the main player but certainly noticeable and it adds a darkness to the fragrance. I suppose it's like a ying and yang fragrance with 2 opposite aromas, fruity yet pungent, sweet but also dark. I love the contrast in notes that project and enjoy wearing more unusual fragrances like this. So far this has been the longest lasting for me from House of Atropa and lasts for several hours, I'd say Pegasus' Food starts slightly feminine but settles into a sweet but unisex fragrance, it could easily be my daily wear 😊 Although it's not listed in the notes, it's not for those who dislike or are unfamiliar with camphor. It's an unusually damp green note that isn't for all noses

When I saw "Pegasus Food" I hoped my dream had come true and that someone finally made a fragrance that smelled like sweet feed (for horses), a rich earthy molasses and oatmeal smell. But the notes don't seem to be doing that.
