She Is Cat

House of Atropa uses a majority percentage of naturals. If you go into this fragrance expecting synthetic fruity bubblegum and pink ponies you will be disappointed yes. However, if you are familiar with and can appreciate perfumers that do use majority naturals such as Devulgares, Om Parfum, Alejandro Acosta, etc then yes you will be able to appreciate She is Cat. The opening disperses the fruity strawberry, cherry, and peach. It then begins to convert to a more musky bridge to get you to the base. The base is where you will really appreciate the blend as it combines the cashmere and oud with light strawberry dancing in the background. This is not a heavy overwhelming blend of natural perfumery. It is extremely wearable and a gentle feminine take.

I received my long awaited bottles today. I wanted both the white and pink (sweeter) version, so I saved up for both. They both have a fairly intense fruity, but floral opening. The pink version doesn't just smell like strawberry and peach on the open. It smells like tropical fruits.I swear that I smell passion fruit in there. The white version is more strawberry peach. In both the cherry, the cashmere or the there musk, the outer all there but not too overwhelming.. I just wish that they didn't have the cologne note. For me, it seems to amplify the florals, and is almost headache inducing because i'm incredibly sensitive to florals. These bottles, both the pink and the white could not possibly be more adorable. The woman that owns the company and makes all of the perfumes was kind enough to include two samples of her other perfumes that were absolutely stunning. The dry down for the pink is a passion fruit peach musk/cashmere and the dry down for the white is a straight peach musk/cashmere with a tiny hint of strawberry.

So, based on the notes and the accords, I thought I'd for sure love this perfume, even if the bottle is hideous. I don't get any fruity, musky, powdery, sweet, fresh... basically nothing of the listed accords. It smells herbal. Not green herbal... like incense herbal. Like you walked into a store that sells 50 different incense scents and they're all mingled together, but not burning. Just sitting there. Very disappointed with this scent!

Lol, this comment section is akin to taking four 6 year olds to the MoMA. This is dope, different and if it looked like a boring Chanel Chance bottle some would complain about that as well. I like it!

An immediate, resounding YES to whatever this spectacular fluff creature contraption is. Excited to see where the perfume lives and whether it smells just as chaotic as it looks.
