A creamy floral indeed! On first spray, I really get the top notes; juicy and bright, with the champaca balancing out the neroli to be less "soapy," for a more sunny floral. As it dries down, the creaminess shines, though the top notes are still very present, making the dominant structure of "creamy floral" quite apparent. The ylang ylang is not overbearing at all, and compliments the neroli/champaca combo, anchoring those notes well enough that they don't float away! I love white leather notes, as it's not so much "biker leather" as it is a soft, grounding aroma that only makes itself known if you're really searching for it. The cardamom adds a touch of warmth and sweetness to that leather note. I'm not as familiar with solar musks, but there is something underneath all the layers that I can't describe, that amplifies the whole concoction. It reminds me of my childhood for some reason, despite never having been to Acapulco or visited many beaches when I was young. It could be that it's the aroma of an era, which for me was the 80s. If you're worried that it might smell like sunscreen, it doesn't! But it's definitely a sunshine floral with a creamy depth.

This fragrance transports you to Acapulco. It opens with a juicy green mango and a floral accord from neroli, you can feel the warmth of champaca. Ylang-ylang adds a rich, sweet floral character. I LOVE THE CREAMINESS THAT STAYS THROUGHOUT THE WEAR—from Sun Cream and Apricot Milk. a little coconutty. You don’t really get a huge apricot scent, but as it warms on the skin, you can detect that subtle creamy sweetness it adds to the perfume. According to the House of Bo, it settles on white leather it is described as orris oil and cashmere on their website which gives it a slight powdery creaminess on your skin. The solar musk (Frankincense Opopur) adds a sweet, resinous, spicy undertone that mixes well with the cardamom for depth. Think of a warm, sunny day at the beach, warmed skin from the sun that has been well moisturized and has a creaminess coming out of your pores, local juicy fruit scents floating from the trees surrounding you, and you on a tropical getaway taking in all these different scents at once, just smelling the air from the tropical mangos and your skin scent coming off in the air. LOVE IT perfect for summer.

Ok now I understand others descriptions of this. Acapulco76 conjures up a clear picture - you’ve just applied your sun cream, you’re relaxing in a little beach cafe that’s decorated in yellow florals, enjoying a creamy mango and tropical fruit sorbet. The notes are very well balanced but the main notes I get are the yellow florals, mango, cream and solar notes. I don’t detect any cardamom or leather at all. This is a very sunny, happy, uplifting , beachy scent. Someone mentioned that it reminds them of Ave María and I get where they’re coming. They are different scents but do have slight similarities, although Ave Maria is clean, fresh and watery. Acapulco76 is bright, sunny and creamy. I actually find this reminds me most of a lighter version of Jasmine Freak by Room 101 than anything else. Obviously Acapulco has no Jasmine, but they remain quite similar. Since I own that one, I don’t think I need a full bottle of this.... Although I may change my mind

Oh wow! The dry down is to die for! The top notes hold the bulk of the sweetness when first applied. The base notes tie this together in a way that make this unlike any summer scent I’ve smelled before. This is a creamy yellow floral grounded by a nice salty leather on my skin. Husband loves this one on me!

Such a beautiful scent! It reminds me of something that I just can’t put my finger on. Maybe just a memory from the past? It has very much a floral sent and fruity. Scents are always bring up strong memories for me! Just wish I could figure out what that memory is! Lol

Smells like a light and more fruity version of Diptique's Orpheon! Its beautiful and you'll want to keep sniffing!

House of Bo’s marketing team had me in a chokehold with this release. I had the bottle in my cart ready to blind buy multiple times over the past few weeks. I love yellow and white florals and most beachy scents that give the illusion of sunscreen, so on paper this sounded right up my alley. Don’t get me wrong, this smells nice, but I definitely think it’s being overhyped by influencers right now. Simply put, it’s a sweet, creamy mango floral. I get an ambiguous mix of yellow and white florals that read more as jasmine than ylang-ylang. I also agree that it reminds me of a softer, creamier, more balanced Jasmine Freak, but JF is spicier and has a much stronger mango note. I’m so glad I sampled this before committing to a $400 bottle. It’s nice, just not nearly as special as I expected it to be.

Got my decanted sample from Aromadeus.com I don’t know why people compare it to La Mar, totally different. If anything, it bares way mroe resemblance with Ave Maria: that same intoxicating and slightly indolic vibe. Opens up with neroli which makes mango smell green, then when the apricot comes in it’s when the mango starts smelling juicy and ripe which is my favourite phase of the perfume. The drydown is pleasant a well. Solid perfume but you must really like yellow florals, otherwise it might cause a headache. Not sure if it’s a full bottle worthy fragrance though, I know I personally would get tired of it fast.

I own 7 different fragrances from HOB. I love them. So this is a hard, yet brutally honest review. This one is so bad, I literally made me throw up. I’m not being dramatic. It’s as if they threw a bunch of shit that they deemed tropical/summer, slapped on a marketing story to make people “feel” something and threw it in a bottle. It’s f’n GROSS. Influencers are lying to you. It’s nasty AF!
