Infinitoud

This is quite nice. The opening smells like old wooden furniture, not in a musty way but in a resinous woody way. It reminds me of a high end antique store—not a thrift store. As it dries, it becomes a more smoky incense aroma with a bit of powder. If I had to use one word to describe this, it would be, "restraint." They did not go overboard with anything when blending this. It's smoky, but it doesn't smell like a fireplace. It's woody, but it doesn't smell like a pile of sawdust. It's incensey, but it doesn't smell like a head shop. The powderiness is not giving barber shop at all. The oud comes through, but it does not overpower the other notes. This is a great blend. I find it very similar to Abîme by Maison Violet, although this House of Bō fragrance seems to last a good deal longer and project slightly further. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I braced myself at first sniff, because: oud. But the oud here is subtle - it’s smooth, soft, and warm, with minimally-musty woodiness. I get a little sweetness and a hint of soap. This smells like creamy amber incense on my skin. An amazing combination. I’m mad for incense, and this became an instant favorite incense-forward fragrance.

Stunning in every way. Blended to perfection, this is oud for class. money screams, Wealth Whispers.

This fragrance has a beautiful bottle with a cap made from marble stone, making it unique and not an everyday mass-produced type of a fragrance. Talking about the scent. I usually first smell a fragrance before reading the notes. When I smelled it, it was very mild, gentle, and sophisticated. It's very woody but so blended masterfully that I could not detect any other notes. @dorchaidhe gave a very good description of the scent. The list of notes includes several strong, deep, and rich materials, yet the ending result is mild, gentle, and sophisticated. That is the magic of this fragrance and what makes it so attractive to me. The bottle design matches the scent's character, with a stone-made cap in a brittle glassy bottle. This shows high perfumery skills and class, which not many perfumers or brands can achieve. It is against the mainstream of this industry, and good for someone very confident and mentally strong with high character who does not want to show off or wear something for complements. But he/she cares about the originality of the fragrance he wears. However, please note that the scent is so soft that some people may not be able to detect it, especially considering the price tag. Overall, very good fragrance. 8/10

Tried this fragrance from a sample vial. I believe a GWP from NM. I really enjoyed it, unisex leaning masculine. Woody earthy fragrance w a bit of aromatic spice that I pick up occasionally. I LOVE oud and personally don’t pick up any oud with this fragrance. What’s funny is that this felt very familiar to me and I didn’t understand why until a woman stopped me at the store to compliment me, asking if I was wearing Molecule 01. I felt ridiculous after she said this, as I’ve been through 4-5 bottles of Molecule 01 over the years and it is my most complimented fragrance. I believe I prefer Molecule 01 to Infinitoud, Molecule 01 may have a lactonic vibe where this is more spicy. I haven’t purchased Molecule 01 in a couple years, so will have to give it another wear before I can be sure. Very much enjoyed this fragrance, but due to the similarities would likely stick w Molecule 01 due to cost.

Getting mostly a clean incensey oud with peyote. A clean soapy oud. It’s classy professional easy wear not offensive but still showing slight personality. It’s nice but not super wearable for myself 6.9/10

Extremely mild woody fragrance with a bit of warmth. I shouldn't like it per the notes, but I do. Gentle and simple.

Very minimal oud, under a fresh green vetiver and incensed cedar. Very weak projection.

Blind testing, the opening was woodsy, smokey, peppery, and aromatic. I can only consider it must be vetiver at first guess. There's a freshness at the top which balances the smokey dry wood. Besides the black pepper which feels obvious (but not overly dominant) I get elements of powdered ginger. Other times more green herbs like sage and rosemary. Later in the day random moments of a more smokey vegetable tone. While it has some character, balancing the dry smokey woods with some aromatic green herby spice, it isn't that intriguing. Kinda gives the impression of a young cowboy who hasn't quite grown into his hat yet, but wants to smell like a man (read young and fresh, striving for manhood), but lacks real mature experience and no bravado. So this could be well suitable for the right line dance date? Looking at the notes now, no surprises except the oud is not the strong arm here. The vetiver and green tone from the peyote set the body while everything else adds to the spice character. While the fragrance itself wasn't too strong in character (dry herbal wood spice) it did make itself present throughout most of the day with a stronger projection than most fragrances I have tested recently. And I could pick it up well past 12 hours, however the price point even with these attributes feels a bit rich.

This is a perfectly okay scent...I guess. It's a very mild somewhat powdery soft and woody scent. The projection is non-existent; you'll need to spray on your clothes or in the inners of your elbows to smell it. I don't love this fragrance, the 40 ml bottle is gorgeous, but honestly, to me it smells EXACTLY like the Comet powdered cleaner. There is something about that peyote and balsam that doesn't work, it's weirdly astringent and also reminds me of toothpaste.

Just wanted a different Oud Scent from what I already have. They had a sale online and I couldn't remember which scent I really liked from this brand. I tried a few at the mall and didnt want to go back... so I just blind purchased it hoping it was the right one... still dont know if it is... Also, Bo is what I call my buddy... so thought it was cool buying a fragrance with his nickname. Love the bottle top.

More than picking up on incense, I feel like I'm in a dense, flat botanical garden wearing this, sitting on a bench amid dusty, nose-tickling gravel and cacti and succulents and strange subtropical plants. But there's a hint of soapy something, like I've just washed my hands with liquid soap in the public restroom. I'm intrigued but don't feel this is totally wearable or my thing

Mild, stale oud brought to life by fresh, wet vetiver. This house uses excellent vetiver. There's a 🌵 cactus note. Fresh wood. The myrrh resin dominates the scent and is a little much for me. It's nice enough, but doesn't hit home.

A lightweight woody fragrance with vetiver, patchouli and incense. I'm not actually getting much oud. Doesn't strike me as particularly unique or compelling, and I find it quite short lived. No where near worth the price imo.

Starts off slightly oudy, then transitions to something redolent of mosquito repellent.

there’s something so wonderfully textured here.. like very dry pencil shavings in my old church.. scratches the inside of my nose. i’m surprised no one’s noticed the similiarities.. however loose, to Kilian’s Straight to Heaven.. sans the headache-inducing rum and nutmeg. i could imagine this on a man around 30-35, built like a tank, wears a lot of leather, doesn’t smoke often but the smell follows him like how a security blanket follows a kid. you aren’t sure what he does for work and you’ve never asked... catholic but barely remembers to make it to sunday mass, is the first in line for confession whenever confession becomes available, though. the fling you have with him lasts just as long as this fragrance, mere moments, dick was crazy good but yet he tells you he’s still not sure if he’s “called” to the married life, you see him at easter mass, and he avoids your gaze.

Coming to realize the more masculine offerings from this house just aren't for me, I'm not into this DNA. It's not poorly blended and it doesn't smell bad, this just isn't for me. Smells mass market and I'm missing out on the nuances others are claiming to get-- I wish I got the herbs and peppery quality but this is just boring oud and woods to my nose. Something ever so slightly peeks through that could be green but it's so subtle you could miss it.

Oud for the minimalist. InfinitOud is classy and reserved. The note pyramid appears loud, but wears very mild. A smooth and seamless blend of woods, incense and aromatic notes. For those of you hesitant at the mention of oud, there is no medicinal or animalic tone here. It is the cedar, pepper and vetiver that stands out the most, giving a discernible masculine and gentlemanly vibe. If you smell deep enough you can catch whispers of agarwood, opposed to the dense richness of oud itself. This fragrance smells very natural and lacks the synthetic vibe. Safe for the office and almost any occasion. InfinitOud has potential to be a signature or everyday reach if you prefer this scent profile.

I really like Infinitoud, it feels like a complete fragrance that was blended well. I’ve never smelled or took peyote but it dosent remind me of the green flesh of cactus that I’ve ate before. It’s more of this vaguely green note that feels gothic to me that reminded me of the opening of Black Afgano. The drydown hits and just smells like a more refined and darker TF oud wood, hits those handsome masculine woodsy, amber, and oud notes in the right way without any of those facets being overbearing.

I can *barely* smell this. When I've read people say they're anosmic to certain scents, I kind of assumed it was hyperbolic, or that my nose just didn't get anosmia, but this smells as close to nothing as a perfume can. What I can smell is so vague and unspecific, just a whisp of generic "perfume" scent, that it may as well not be there at all. Bizarre!
