Everveil

Well, this captured one of my memories perfectly. Walking along a forest pathway along moss and mushrooms, a mountain-mixed-with-ocean breeze wafting through the tall redwood trees along the highways leading to the California coast. There are delicate purple flowers and landscape greenery under your feet, the sun is beginning to set and sending rays through the branches. Feels like the fairies are just about to wake up for the night. So delicate, so unisex, so intoxicating. I need a full bottle. The sweetness from the jasmine and the cypress replicate the almost sweet hay grasses that grow along the coastline. The forest is growing all around you and there a distant campfire in the far, far background, from a campsite at the next state park down the highway (incense note). There are the multitude of tree species all around you with a fresh musk so it feels outdoorsy and gritty without it smelling dirty or muddy. As per usual Brandt fashion, longevity and sillage are incredible. Will be buying a full bottle. If you’re into forest scents, this is a very safe blind buy. Highly highly recommend for feminine OR masculine canvases. Omg so good

Long time lurker here – but I literally felt I had to make an account just to review this, because this is a sort of "white whale" fragrance for me. After trying countless evergreen/pine scents, for me they typically either just didn't smell like pine trees or had too much else going on like spice or amber or earthiness or what have you, to capture what I was wanting. That feeling of walking through a forest in the PNW, when the air is still cold and you can see your breath, or even going to pick out a Christmas tree in the snow. Everveil is my perfect ethereal balsam fir/pine scent. This quite literally captures the crisp, cold in your nostrils feeling of standing in a cold evergreen forest, along with a clean soapy musk. The clean soapy musk element to me adds to that cold, mountain air kind of feel. As one of the other reviews below says, this lasts for AGES. Also has gotten me several compliments while out and about, not that I care as I love this so much I would wear it even if everyone around me hated it. I would call this straight down the line unisex. A new addition to my top 5 for life.

Just received to discovery set and to my surprise this was my favorite. Yes, this leans masculine BUT Everveil is so light and airy. It literally smells like you are in a forest and somehow....you smell clean crisp air. I’m going to give it a full wear test but I think this will be my full bottle.

I actually like this one but yeah I have to agree with the fancy irish spring comparison, once you see it you cant unsee it which is a damn shame because its a good concept, but I guess thats also why Irish Spring has lasted as long as it has. I've been using it as a post workout scent and probably wont get another of the current iteration but I have a feeling if the house of brandt tweaks this one just right it could fix alot of the problems.

I loved smelling this scent, but on my skin the smoke and incense notes completely take over. On paper and on my boyfriend, though, it smells like a fresh, dewy mountain forest. It’s very clean and woody. It definitely leans more masculine, but I would absolutely wear it if the incense didn’t overwhelm it on me.

If you push past the very loud opening that resembles a manly candle or even axe body spray, this settles into a lovely, even gentler, Gentle Fluidity Silver that stays bright instead of turning generically barbershop. Lasts longer too.

Honestly this has a place in my world. I've been looking for something just like it! Very much an Irish Spring dna with a hint of creamyness. It's a big like for me!

I loved this when I sampled it on paper, but after buying a travel size and wearing it I have to unfortunately agree that it smells like Axe body spray. I have tried it for multiple days now because I really want to like it, but it hasn’t changed to my nose. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pleasant scent, but it’s too masculine and Axe/male grooming products scented instead of the airy, cool, photorealistic forest I thought I was getting. I’ll stick to Bo by Liis.

If you’re looking for photorealistic forest, this ain’t it. What it’s giving is men’s grooming products. Very pleasant and clean, would be office appropriate. Very powdery at the heart, but always with some cool air. It’s not for me, but I’d be happy to sit next to someone wearing this.

**Rewriting my review for this....after about an hour it turned into a very nice, intimate alpine forest aroma. I had to sit through a soapy, almost soft pine cleaner initial spray first. Not bad, I just don't want to wait an hour for it to become something I like.

Reminded me instantly of Cody Aspen which my brother wore in highschool back in the very late 80s. He found this about the same time I fell hard for EL Red Door. Masculine, like a forest mountain air clean soap.

This smells exactly like someone bottled the spirit of a 1999 Christmas Glade Plug-In and tried to pass it off as haute couture. There’s an almost aggressive “holiday freshness” vibe consisting of crisp pine needles, aerosol sparkle, and the faint memory of a scented candle your mother insisted was “real balsam fir” even though it clearly wasn’t. It’s all sharp pine needles, plastic ornament vibe, and the kind of “holiday freshness” that tries a little too hard. Lesbihonest here, it's like a Glade can wearing a flannel, sitting at a pottery wheel, sipping black coffee, and explaining why Melissa Etheridge deserved more Grammys. It’s festive. It’s unhinged. It’s aggressively pine-sexual.

I was looking forward to this scent, as I had heard about it on TikTok. I was expecting nice fresh pine trees. Instead I got a strong soap note. I didn’t find it pleasant at all and had to scrub it off. I think if I smelled it on someone else I might even like it, but darn, I guess it’s not my cup of tea.

Unfortunately, not good. Echoing the Glade plug-in vibes mentioned here, but it also smells lemony to me—like bathroom cleaner and generic “freshness.” Really off-putting. Still on the hunt for my perfect pine forest on a cold morning scent.

I love the creative direction on this, the bottle, the name, the ad....however the scent is very mid- better as a candle 😣

Damn I just got this today and on first spray the only thing that came to mind was Irish Spring soap. It’s sooooo masculine. I was really hoping I was going to be smelling like a forest fairy but this is most certainly not it. Looks like my search continues. So glad I only got a travel size.

This is indistinguishable from an Axe Body Spray or virtually any men's body wash on the shelves at Target. If you're looking for a botanical fresh earthy forest scent, this is not it. It's just heavily cologned soap, done a million times before.

Very disappointed in this. I unfortunately do not smell any of the notes and have no idea where anyone is getting forest smells. Like someone else said, reminds me of axe body spray. Both me and my boyfriend tried and same results.

I don’t know why I keep trying new drops from Brandt. Every single time I get hyped up and so let down. This gives airwick plugin vibes or cheap men’s bar soap. Such beautiful packaging for a mid boring fragrance.

I rarely review a scent, but with this one I felt the need to chime in. This has been a slow burn fragrance for me. I purchased the travel spray, upon initial spray I hated it. Everything that’s being said in the comments I agreed with. To me, it was an expensive bar of Irish spring soap. It was too masculine and I didn’t like it. However, I forced myself to try it again, and I started to like it. I started getting the mountain air, clean and powdery scent. The next time I wore it my husband remarked from across the room how much he loved my fragrance. Now if you know my husband he rarely compliments my fragrances. He has no problem letting me know when he dislikes something but compliments are few and very far between. Then I started experimenting and this layered with Orpheon is downright magical. This is 100% woodland fairy. This is so beautiful for those grey damp winter days. When it’s foggy and misty.. it is so beautiful. And then again today he mentioned how much he loves my fragrance. To get compliments twice on the same scent has never happened. So for all the women that hated it. I highly encourage you to try it again. Yes it is a little masculine but the dry down is magical. I will be ordering a full bottle once my travel spray is gone. This is quickly becoming my favorite winter scent. *needed to add a little more* I thought this was distinctly a winter only scent. However I decided to try it on a beautiful spring 80 degree morning in Key West. It is stunning! It’s blooming in the heat. It’s fresh, cool, musky and I have gotten so many compliments.* this one is quickly becoming one of my favorite scents.!!

No woods. No pine. definitely no evergreens or any other conifers. Primarily a fresh blue soap kind, like the blue dial soap or reminiscent or Irish spring which many others have already said. It’s not bad, just don’t buy it expecting woods.

Given it a few wears. You will smell clean and fresh out of the shower. It's got a green shower gel feel. I think it would be very safe to wear to the office if you don't over-spray. I still prefer London fog.

Influenced by TikTok reviewers to get a sample of this. Get your bag I guess but this is very bad. Reviewer that likened it to Axe body spray is 100% correct.

on me this was way too masculine, strong, and overpowering. it smells like a pine-scented Axe body spray.

Really nice, but nothing super new. It’s like an extrait version of Ch*nel Egoiste Platinum.
