Summer Street

This opens with a loud, fresh, herby, sweet, syrupy blast. It quickly settles into a warm floral reminiscent of Lush Rose Jam but more sophisticated and complex. On me it became a very warm, golden hour in late summer feeling. It settles into that space for a few hours and then finally fades into a soft, honey, skin scent. It is mostly gone after about 5-6 hours, just a faint trace left. I did not love the opening on my first try, but the dry down was so delicious I kept going back to it. By the third try I was in love, respraying it after about 4 hours to keep it going. I first found it during winter and it definitely gives the feeling of being outside at the end of a hot summer day, very nostalgic. I love it.

I just got a sample of this from LuckyScent and it's definitely a love at first try. I was looking for a fresh, fruity floral for summer, and this fits the bill. The honey is sweet and not too animalic. It's bright and juicy, rich and airy at the same time which for me, is perfection. It's not a room rocker, but creates a nice sweet bubble. Can't speak to longevity yet, but I've got the feeling I'll have to respray in three or four hours. The benzoin and cedar are quite nice in the dry down, balanced on a soft cushion of vanilla. It's simply gorgeous and definitely FB worthy in my opinion.

Delightful but be aware this is not a bright and breezy affair! This is for autumn wear. This is a jammy apricot connoction with delightful honeysuckle reminding us of summer. I do reckon Summer Memories would be a more apt name but "Street' does allude to a passage and is more poetic! The scent is suitable for the transition into autumn and will be delightful reminder of warmer days when the temperaature starts to drop. For me - this is apricot and honeysuckle and finally honey dominant. Solar vibes for the cooler weather.

Gosh, it’s beautiful! Even though it’s called “Summer street”, this is more of a spring or early autumn fragrance to me, it’s a bit too sweet for summer, at least for summer where I live. It’s more fruity than floral to me, I see some similarities with “Dolce Melodia” by Sospiro, both have this plushy, velvety vibe.

I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about this one. I am a big fan of Brandt overall. I was hoping this would be more fruity... that apricot jam note sounded amazing and I love blackcurrant. But on my skin I don’t get much of any of the fruity notes. This pretty much just smells like florals and honey on my skin. Not bad, just not what I was looking for. Update: been wearing this the last couple days and it is really lovely. I get more of the fruity notes when I spray it on clothes vs skin. The longevity is really good - I’ve worn this to bed and still smelled it on my arm in the morning!

Mmmm this is nice. I won’t be buying a full bottle myself as it’s not my type of scent but would be perfect for my beautiful cottagecore, Parisian chic scent loving mom. Not mature at all, just pretty and clean. It’s like a boutique bar soap that elevated the smell of drugstore bar soaps. Love the opening, mid, and base but the notes are surprising to see as I can’t pinpoint one note when smelling the fragrance. Just know, it’s very nice and would surprisingly work well on a masculine canvas as it’s unisex. Pretty is just the perfect word to describe it.

First try - wasn’t sure I liked it, until it dried down and I picked up the cozy vanilla and ambroxan. Second try, enjoyed it more because I knew what to expect, then realized the scent was familiar. Bergamot, cassis, rose, vanilla. Well hello, Armani Si intense. Not exactly alike, but fraternal twins IMO.

Thick, jammy apricot compote. A comforting, enveloping scent with zero transparency and extreme longevity. Very pretty, a perfume for a grand dame. The only thing I dislike is the name, Summer Street, which is too heavy for heat, feels like it would work best in cold weather.

Testing this tonight and the reviews seem so confusing to me. I don't get any rose in this. It's a bit gourmandy at first but I think I'm going to like it. I see it as a golden hour fragrance. Good for early evening in late summer and then into autumn during the day.

Just got my sample. On my skin it smells like honey and white flowers. No fruitiness unfortunately. Definitely no rose. It’s a pleasant fall perfume, but it lacks complexity.

First impressions: I thought this would be a big, big love for me. It’s all my favorite notes. I pick up the apricot and davana in the opening, and then nondescript florals. The dry down is honey and vanilla, but it’s very light. The entire experience is completely over in about 3 hours. Summer Street (more appropriate for fall) isn’t a bad scent, but it’s kind of generic. I will keep wearing my decant but this doesn’t stand out to me. There are other scents that fall into the fruity, floral, honey or warm, peachy, floral category that I prefer. Update: I wrote my first review after 2 full wears on warm Fall days. After wearing a couple more times, I’m finding this scent more addictive. The weather has cooled down significantly and this is growing on me. However, lasting power is only about 4 hours. It’s a scent I enjoy. I’m still not sold on purchasing a full bottle, but I think a large decant is warranted. Update 2: I wanted to finish up my thoughts on this scent about 7 months after I first tried it. Wearing it again, after the newness has worn off, I don’t think this is going to be a fb for me. It’s pleasant, but there’s no clear vision. You could use it for almost any occasion and I can see a motherly figure using it as a signature scent. But, I don’t love it for myself.

I’m not sure what I was expecting from this perfume, but it definitely wasn’t something that immediately reminded me of Delina Exclusif and Si. Maybe it’s the combination of vanilla and rose, but I can’t get those two fragrances out of my head when I smell this. I was hoping for more honey and apricot with a richer, jammy quality. Instead, I mostly get rose, cassis, and vanilla throughout. It’s a pretty fragrance, just nothing particularly memorable for me.

Not only do I not pick up the fruits in this, I also find the name misleading - it does not smell very summery to my nose. To me, this is a rose perfume and consequently, not my vibe. The honey also comes through prominently. It smells like a dry, sweet, honeyed-floral scent. It does not smell especially individual, nor sophisticated. I agree with Dexter G's review below that says this scent is more appropriate for Autumn wear.

This is rough and was a scrubber for me. Even though I don’t see oud listed I get oud. It’s very deep, dark, woody and floral. Would be terrible for summer weather. The combo of the honeysuckle, lily of the valley and rose is just not pleasant (for me.) Any apricot in here is completely overtaken by the floral notes.

Turned on my skin. Like rotten fruits left on the ground in a hot sunny day. I had such high hopes for it. I don't get either cassis, vanilla or rose, so I don't get the comparison to Sí or Delina. To me this is overpowering apricot with honey and jasmine.

Heavy on the rose. Nauseating. I couldn’t scrub this off fast enough.

I really wanted to love this as Brandt is so great at nuance in fragrance. Overall it is dense, heavy, super sweet from initial spray to drydown. If there was some room for Cassis, Davana, and Bergamot to express themselves, it may be a composition I enjoyed. They are overwhelmed by fruit jam and flower nectar which are covered in a generous pour, not a drizzle, of store bought honey. The Cedar and Bonzoin are fighting for their lives...trying desperately to anchor the high notes. They are no match for the vanilla. Taking a detour from this summer street.

The florals in this are not overpowering. Overall I think it's very well blended. It's got a freshness to the fruit that comes across as almost herbal but very subtlely. There is something kind of minty, maybe cassis? The citrus also feels zesty and fresh, but this is not a freshie. More that it's just well balanced. On my skin I'm getting fruit, then floral, then zesty herb. I really like this, I wouldn't mind owning a rollerball however its not as much of a powerhouse a some of the ones I come back to often.

To me this is a very unique fragrance. I cannot pick out the notes but it does smell slightly animalic which is why I wouldnt wear this in hot weather. I feel like animalic scents smell “skunky” in the heat. Someone mentioned the name isnt fitting and I have to agree as it smells way better in cooler weather. Today I walked into the grocery store which is cold and received a compliment, the person really liked it. Very pretty scent with a little seduction.. This is not a summer scent.

I wanted to love this based on that beautiful note breakdown, but unfortunately every time I had Summer Street on my skin it irritated me. The heavy honeyed syrup with the jasmine is just too much, and I found it quite linear. I think if you prefer the heavy 'niche' fragrances which overuse contemporary aroma molecules then you would enjoy this, but if you prefer more simplistic designer perfumes, as I do, you may struggle with this.

Idk ... not a fan , kinda smells old - like stale fruits I can’t explain it. But it’s not a bright fragrance ... very flat and bland
