Violet Green Tea Honeysuckle

I think of this as a winter floral, kind of like those narcissus in the pots that bloom out on tall stems indoors. I am partial to the Atelier fragrances, of which this is one, and wanted it for my collection. They are limited edition and well priced, and quirky in a beautiful seductive way. I do pick up the honeysuckle and green tea clearly, and the violet cools it down but it's not sweet the way those two can be, at least to open, though it does get a little sweeter the longer you wear it. I don't know all the notes but for me there is a red brick dust effect behind the florals, throwing the florals in relief like a cameo profile. It leans quite feminine, in a grown up way. I do know the two perfumers well and follow their work closely. This one is easy to wear and unconditionally love while still maintaining a sophisticated air.

I fell in love at first sniff,tried it loved it bought a bottle,this is a beautiful fragrance,love the honeysuckle and violet,with a hint of green tea, totally wearable all day into night ,it's had great wear 6hours on a small spray,this is bottle worthy and a staple in my collection, will repurchase for sure

Violet Green Tea Honeysuckle starts out as a floral, sweet green tea, but it quickly becomes a deeper green scent, shedding some it it's sweetness. About an hour in it looses more of it's sweetness and becomes a bit dry. A few hours in VGTH becomes a dryer dusty green. That phase is a pleasant surprise that I was not expecting. I get great longevity on my skin. Project is good for the fist few hours, then settles down a bit, but more arms length than skin scent. This is a unisex scent that leans more towards the feminine side IMO. VGTH can be worn in formal or casual attire. Overall VGTH is a good clean and green scent that reminds me of a herbal shampoo. Bottom line: If you like fresh, clean and green scents, try a sample of this one.
