Crimson Aura

So we all saw the tiktok hype about how this house was loved at ScentXplore as well as the questionable reviews from new accounts. Lucky for us both I got either a 10ml or 2ml of everything from this house (except for Dark Matter) to see if it lives up to the hype. As Narcotic Delight is my favorite fragrance of all time this scent profile was intriguing. The wine note is very apparent initially and at first a little too much for me. After a few minutes it blended in with the cherry, woods, and vanilla much better. I would aptly describe this as a wine and cherry fragrance and not a "boozy" cherry like ND is. Overall my preference lies with ND over this one, but I still appreciate this fragrance for what it is. While it is fairly unisex I would describe it as a more feminine ND given how notable the red wine note is. Overall, a well done cherry (that doesn't come off as medicinal like some do) mixed with a slightly feminine red wine that projects and performs quite well.

As I experienced this scent, a few fragrances came to mind, but Crimson Aura truly shines with its masterful blend. The dry down is nothing short of exceptional, with the cherry and wine notes subtly receding to make way for the rum rich tobacco and oud. The result is an elegant, woody fragrance that strikes the perfect balance of sweetness. For me, this is an absolute triumph. 10/10 masterpiece

Love this. It’s a sophisticated take on cherry that avoids the typical 'medicinal' pitfalls. The opening is a rich, dark cherry, but the star for me is that wine accord—it gives the scent an airy, refined booziness. It feels expensive and seductive. If you’ve struggled with cherry scents being too thick or synthetic, give this a try. Perfect for a formal evening or a romantic date night.

CKMI is a troll he’s literally leaving the same review in all of House of Cosmos frags! It just shows how hate spawns from nowhere. My experience with crimson aura was that it will always be a staple in my collection and especially in the winter and fall months.

This is such a beautiful, warm, cherry boozy scent! It is like someone is giving you a warm hug. Reminds me of my late brother that used to give me those warm hugs that made me feel special. This one is special to me and does not smell synthetic

Woww Crimson aura, where do I even start! This is one of the best cherry fragrances I’ve put my nose to, red wine and cherry are definitely the star of the show not synthetic at all! the hype is real on this one imo, 10/10 fragrance!

I love it. Its good and accords are pretty accurate. Not crazy masculine but thats not what you’re buying this for anyway in my opinion. All notes come through pretty good. NOT CLOYING

Wine and cherry blended to perfection with a warm spicy vibe such a good date night and cooler weather scent one of the best from the brand.

Might be the best Cherry Ive smelled. Probably can be worn year round but I would imagine does best in the cooler months.

A nice, cherry wine scent. Cherry has a tendency to go medicinal on me, but this one didn’t. I almost got a creamy cherry feel...like lotion. Unisex. Really nice!

I like that there is a warmth to this fragrance..The mixture of the red wine & cherry feels pretty unique...What i am getting from this fragrance is a candied cherry red wine and wax..Reminds me of cherry chapstick with some red wine.

Definitely get the wine and cherry. Didn't get medicinal to my nose. Not my vibe but nice.

The opening is harsh! Burns your nose! The dry down smells good, but within a few minutes of spraying it, it becomes a skin scent. People have to get right upto you to smell it. Definitely not quality oils or anything. Vicebomb is a similar and better done boozy cherry fragrance.

All 3 reviewers below just joined Fragrantica and only reviewed one brand...House of Cosmo. Brands think they are going to get sales this way, but these fake hype-ups just stopped me from blind-buying and convinced me to buy that Birkholz Tales of Torino I was eyeing.

Quick question James... if that is your government name. Your page quote boldly claims you "smell everything," and your feed proves you’re deep into the most obscure corners of the map. How exactly are you acquiring such recondite fragrances? Are you hunting these esoteric olfactory creations down yourself, or are you a specialized industry bloodhound? I’m fully convinced a mysterious myrmidon drops packages on your doorstep in the dead of night, demanding you evaluate a top-secret beta blend before vanishing into the shadows with a chilling gaze of pure, implied intimidation. Does your majestic schnozola serve a higher calling? Have you been anointed as the chosen nose to bring truth to the masses regarding these clandestine aromas? Keep doing the lord's work. Us poor, desperate seekers of smells depend on you for honest reviews of the completely unattainable elixirs we so desperately live for. Lastly, in regards to "smelling everything," I hope they don't force you to sniff horrid aromas when things go wrong. For some reason, I have this theory that the real reason you have that silly mustache is to act as a barrier for when you're shoved into a dog's butt and told to sniff—specifically when the industry overlords take umbrage, go ballistic, and want to send a message. If that is the case, thank you for your ridiculous mustache, and we honor you for your mission.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I was really really let down by this house. Dark Matter is the only one I haven’t smelled yet. This one was the only one I appreciated. It took Mancera red tobacco and made it more wearable. I’d say Galaxia is maybe worth the price IF u like gourmand (Im not a fan but I have to admit it’s good quality) and crimson aura yeah id pay $200. But the rest aren’t that worth it imo There are just so many better options for cheaper prices out there. I’m not a cheapskate, I’m just comparing it with other perfumes in this price range. Polaris smelled cheap I’ve smelled Lunar Minerale dna somewhere and I think it was Imaginary Authors (price difference) New Eden was disappointing Element is like a medicinal Naxos that dries down into tobacco. What weird is it goes from a youthful perfume to a mature perfume. I’ll choose Naxos any day Nova is alright but if a girl wore it I wouldn’t be impressed Crimson Aura and Galaxia are nice If I’d smell this blindly I’d guess these are around ~$125-$150. But thats not even bad. Just yk not $215 The whole brand gets a 6.8/10 from me
