823 is a slow burn. The opening greeted me with bright fruit, a touch of sweetness, and an unexpected medicinal nuance that had me questioning the hype. Thankfully, that phase was brief. As it settled, the fragrance revealed its true character. The amber emerged with a subtle peppery facet, adding warmth and texture without becoming heavy or overly sweet. The drydown is where 823 shines—radiant, enveloping, and quietly luxurious. It's the kind of scent that keeps drawing your wrist back to your nose. This isn't love at first spray. It's a fragrance that rewards patience, and for me, the final chapters were far more compelling than the introduction. Whether it's full bottle worthy.... will take a few more wears, but the drydown definitely makes its case.

Pretty but a bit too raspberry forward for me, gives it the overly sweet synthetic overtone

House of Iyrah 823 is a white floral fragrance with other supporting notes, but the tuberose was so prominent that it was the only thing I could really smell on my skin. Unfortunately, tuberose has never been one of my favorite notes, and it also ended up giving me a headache, which was disappointing because the raspberry was so beautifully done. At $300, the price tag is quite steep. If the tuberose had been toned down, I would have bought a bottle on sale. It's a beautifully crafted fragrance and one I can appreciate, even if it isn't for me.

Really beautiful fragrance like standing in a field flowers. Unfortunately it settled into a strong "twang" on my skin which I think is ambroxan. Glad I got a sample - I'll have to pass.

Very overpriced and over hyped. Doesn’t smell anything like Scarlet Sands. Get a sample before you buy and don’t believe the hype. Even the samples, from the brand are overpriced, get it from Scent Splits or somewhere else.
