This is not very floral and the sweetness comes in and out; it also has a strong signature "dustiness" from Matriarch.

This is a natural rendition of a vintage fragrance! I swear I smell something approximating aldehydes when I first spray, that softens into a lovely vintage fragrance, in the spirit of Climat and the like... it’s suddenly the 50s and I’m pressing flowers in my album next to my silver potpourri dish and Limoge figurines. This is warm and sweet, somewhat dusty and dry, and I can’t seem to detect any specific notes except honey, real honey with it’s slightly sour tones not just sweetness. And potpourri. EDIT: after wearing this a few more times I need to revise my original review. In warmer weather this perfume goes nutty on me. It’s hard to describe it but it’s something like the way cashew nuts taste. I don’t enjoy that note so if you smell it too try the perfume again in cooler weather.

this starts off with woods and animalic honey. something about this is damp, earthy and a bit dank, kind of like mushrooms in a shaded forest. even with the dampness, there is something dry and a bit dusty here as well. it gets woodier and more resiny as time goes on, the honey fading away. it reminds me of *something* so strongly, but i can't recall what. i think i get mostly woods and a mushroom-y note overall. an interesting scent that calls up vivid imagery but not really something i would wear.

Im a jasmine lover, but got disapointed in this. I expected a beautyful happy scent, but this is more dark, balsamic and dirty. Looking at the notes, I was hoping for a fragrance in the line of reflection man, but this is a totally different direction. Can not see myself wearing this in public. And the price is sky high. No thanks.

Two years ago when I was tired of the same mainstream Colognes at retail stores mostly Designers I kinda satisfied my desire for something new with Niche World but when I discovered the Fragrance Community was even better for me because I've found what I was looking for, Fragrance à la Carte! Indie Perfumery!! Never in my wildest dreams thought that I will love florals, I guy like me who loves Musky, Leathery, Woody Colognes turned his Appetite for Sandalwood, Incense, Frankincense and Rose!! Well I still don't like Tuberose and Jasmine but everything change when I smelled L' Arrivée by House of Matriarch, this Gem is like I call "Dancing with Jasmine" it's in my humble opinion the first Truly Masculine Floral that I came across, The strong Jasmine opening may you think oh no!! But wait, then Bergamot show up with some sort of Magnolia, then Jasmine invites another beauty; Neroli, but the most outstanding part of this dancing is the happy ending with the Dry down of Sandalwood, Frankincense and Vanilla which it gives you an ambery effect at the end. Serious Collectors must have this unique Fragrance in their outstanding collection, its a high end perfumery I know, I heard some people complained about that and also the longevity but this unique Gem You won't have that problem of longevity, price point it's expensive but Christi Meshell is doing her best to let more people get on board in this journey with Flash sales and VIP rewards Club which you can accumulate points every time when you buy. Trust me guys I don't like to compare but LADDM and More than Words are very unique as this one, the dry down is a Masterpiece.
