this perfume is both like a journey and like a destination. first, it's a journey because it is equally well blended but at times in its development on the skin you can feel some details shinning through. first it's a bit of rose, than what I think it's nard, this ones feels so distinct to me and has the stage for a couple of minutes, it's like a musical solo, you have to notice it. than it takes a step back and a sort of woody vibe comes through, than they all rest on a bed of something earthy and balmy. in the first days of testing it, rose shone the brightest in the first spray, but now I feel it more blended into the mix. after half an hour or less it's an enveloping blend of resins and woods and roots and flowers, it's an all encompassing, fragrant imprint. second, it's a destination because .. it's a whole mood. it's not like a cozy shawl, not like a breeze, it's like a rich smoke swirl surrounding you, it feels protective, it feels healing, it feels deeply rooted into the earth and into the body. it has no prevailing feminine or masculine qualities, it is both and none at the same time, so you can call it unisex if you need the label. it's a mood in itself.
