The pink pepper is noticeable almost immediately, bringing a soft, dry spiciness. Soon after, frankincense and myrrh begin to emerge. The frankincense is not especially smoky or incense-like, but leans toward a dry, quiet character. The myrrh is actually more prominent, carrying a faint bitterness and a subtle medicinal nuance that gives the fragrance a grounded, composed feel without ever becoming overwhelming. The most distinctive aspect of this fragrance is that, although the materials themselves sound quite bold, the scent is surprisingly simple and even fairly linear. It spends the entire wear gently shifting the balance between pink pepper, frankincense, and myrrh. As it reaches the drydown, the myrrh becomes increasingly noticeable, and the fragrance gradually softens. A touch of sweetness begins to appear—not a sugary sweetness, but the natural sweetness that seems to radiate from the resins themselves. It is light and perfectly judged, just enough to offset the dryness of the frankincense and myrrh, giving the drydown a warmer, smoother character. If you prefer fragrances with dramatic evolution and many layers, this one may feel a little too straightforward. But if you are here specifically for frankincense and myrrh, it is unlikely to disappoint. There is no complicated structure or deliberately theatrical progression. Instead, it presents the purest side of these resinous materials with remarkable clarity. With a 20% perfume concentration, it offers excellent longevity. It feels especially well suited to autumn and winter.

I got a sample at Scent Xplore. It has a robust pink pepper opening, which I love, but overall, it lacks depth, complexity, and mystery.

Trying to fill the shoes of one of the greatest masculine fragrances of the last decade (French lover) that was in a way inspired by one of the greatest green fragrances of all time (green Irish tweed) through the hands of one of the greatest perfumer’s of all Time (Pierre bourdon) is just pushing the limits of dreams to unbelievable levels it’s good but not enough paying more for a better fragrance and better quality with the kind of depth that keeps you thinking and admiring for a long time instead of trying copy somebody else’s work

I like myrrh, but I do not like this at all. It reminds me of incense at the Venice beach boardwalk. It would be great as incense, but just way too smoky for me to wear on my skin.

Only worn this once, the scent profile is not my exact preferred style (blind buy). Julien Rasquinet is the credited perfumer and Instagram has videos showing the perfumers talking about their creations. This (again from memory) is a take on frederic malle French lover. It certainly is solid, has good performance but wouldn't be in heavy rotation purely due to notes. But as all in the brand I've tried so far , fantastically made and very solid

Stout pepper and a smokey resin that is pretty strongly male leaning. Best for cold weather. It doesn't go anywhere beyond what it is and linear which is totally fine. It is true to the notes listed so you won't be getting any surprises. Probably could layer really with with a woody vanilla to get it a little more depth.
