Yes I Can

WHAT A BEAST!! This perfume projects like no other. It has incredible performance. The scent itself is incredibly complex, dense and heady. It does smell incredibly expensive. I get intense rose however with a oud, woody and almost muddy base. It almost has a leather whiff to it and it leans more masculine. This is definitely not a blind buy friendly scent as it is just so unique. Despite my love for this fragrance it unfortunately is just too powerful for me to wear day to day and it is not sexy enough for the evenings. There is no way I can wear this in spring or summer either. It does best in winter. It is not the most versatile scent.

Wow, this is really good. I got the sample in TPG mystery box. It's very similar to FM Promise, which I own & love, but different enough that this has gone straight onto my want list. In the deep drydown I gets whiffs of leather very similar to the leather note in Rose & Cuir, which I also own & love. It's very reasonably priced at retail for the quality too. This is an absolute beast, still going strong 12 hours later. If you like FM Promise, this is probably a very safe blind buy.

This is so good. One of the better rose fragrances and doesn’t lean feminine totally unisex. Currently sold out. Glad to have it in my collection.

Dominique Ropion started a whole genre of fragrances when he created Promise for Frederic Malle. Since then, he himself gave the world several renditions in the same style like Oud Aquilaria or Là-Bas. Yes I Am is one of those renditions and quite a beautiful one. The opening showcases an almost boozy apple note with spices, bright and radiant. Promptly rose notes and further spices are detectable, Ropion is talking about using turmeric leaves in one of the brand's videos. Then the fragrances rapidly shifts to a deep base mainly consistent of ambroxan and patchouli with slight support of resins. When smelling Yes I Am up close, notes like honey and cinnamon also come to mind, even though not listed in the note breakdown. The resulting smell: a spicy, ambery rose with a very present apple note, and a deep, slightly honeyed base of ambroxan and patchouli. Quality is on point, longevity and sillage are excellent. A true work of Ropion, both powerful and elegant, round and deep.

Another good offering from the house. The target this time is Frederic Malle Promise, incidentally the same perfumer. This fragrance amps up the rose and apple and reduces the cypriol and leather, again thereby making the fragrance more wearable. Subsequently making sending this straight down the middle unisex. From the bottles I own the quality is undeniable, they all feel rich and full, not rushed or using inferior ingredients. The bottles are joy and the sprayers are akin to those of dior prive line, spraying plenty of juice with great distribution

Lovely apple and rose with a deep patchouli base. Unfortunately it doesn’t work well on my skin so I think I’m going to sell it. Message me if interested in buying it. Only sprayed a few times.

I'm having a hard time with this one. I get leather, pepper, and citrus. While it comes off very sophisticated, it's also quite strange. Not yet a love and certainly not a safe blind buy.
