Cherry Garden

Official notes : Almond oil, aniseed oil Rose, jasmine Heliotrope, musk Soft, warm and addictive. Not too warm. As warm as a knitted sweater on a sunny October day. I tried it in summer and it worked, but it really is such a fall fragrance in my opinion. It's a very well-done, refined, slightly spicy floral /almond combination. There are no synthetic, chemically parts to get through. It smells extremely natural and high quality. The cherry "effect" comes from Heliotrope and almond and it's more of a floral take on cherry than literal cherry (as if, say Tonka were in here). I'm so happy they went this route. Everything marries together so well that it's difficult to pull out individual notes. It's fluffy, gently powdery and round, especially later in the drydown. It has an intriguing spiky, thorny quality (aniseed), and something slightly bitter green, akin to ivy or violet leaf, that gives it an edge. All of these ingredients together smell so pure, it doesn't compare to anything else in terms of quality. The quality here sets it apart, as well as the way the notes develop and remain true throughout the life of the scent. It's 100% linear on my skin, and I'm glad because complexity & development can be the downfall of some fragrances. Only drawback : Projection is great first thirty minutes or so, then it pulls back and rather quickly becomes a skin scent. Projection isn't the best for the duration. I have to overspray to enjoy it they way I like. Of course, it performs better on clothing, but that's true for most perfumes. It's not the absolute most unique perfume out there, profile-wise, but that's not a deciding factor for me so much as quality and loving the way I smell. For quality and execution, it is very special. I have a really hard time putting it down once I pick it up ( hence addictive). It's amazing to me. I feel this way about all of my favorite HOS fragrances. Each one of them has a beautiful draw that keeps me coming back for more. They just sit right with me. They are high quality, seamlessly blended fragrances that don't pose me any challenges while wearing them. I absolutely adore the few that I own. The bejeweled cupcakes are part of the appeal, yes. Not to say I'd love the juice any less if they came in plain bottles. But because they combine beautiful, well-crafted fragrances with stunning packaging, they're absolutely worth it imo. It's a whole experience I didn't know I was missing before. I've become a huge lover of this brand. Cherry Garden is in my top 3 at the moment. 🍒❤️

I received this in the House of Sillage Signature collection. This is a soft, sweet fragrance. When I first sprayed it, I kept thinking that it reminded me of "something", although I never could put my finger on exactly what. The sillage and longevity, however, are non-existent. For the price, I would expect this to last for days - at least on clothes, but it's gone in a few hours. If it lasted longer, I'd definitely splurge for the full-sized. I can't justify spending that much on a perfume that doesn't last. There are too many out there that last forever for equal or less the price I'd pay for this one. **UPDATE** This scent did remain on a cotton dress and it smells wonderful!!! If it lasted/projected on my skin, I'd be the in line to buy it. ------- Bought the cupcake on sale :-)

this is a deliciously crafted soft gourmand with a hint of cherry blossom floral tones. it is mostly sweet almonds and a wonderful vanilla. i used the whole sample and decided to buy a bottle. i also tried "love is in the air" and felt a need to purchase it as well. the sweet scents in the house of silage smell really amazing to me, and my husband likes them too. not to mention the bottle- which is very sturdy/heavy and has too many crystals to count. the stunning packaging is different from scent to scent. this bottle is pink with gold lid with white crystals, whereas "love is in the air" has blue and silver lid coloring with white crystals. i would suggest a sample for an almond vanilla fan- especially if you like a bit of floral undertones. good luck!

It’s very pretty, I smell something similar to mimosa but than is settles into pretty almond, vanilla and I can smell slight sandal wood. For me it’s about the dry down. The silage isn’t great. The fragrance sits very close to the skin. Very feminine and pretty. It’s not unique, I can smell similarity to other frag, but it’s a beauty still. Update: so I want a full bottle, it is very pretty and I guess silage is good enough because I did get a compliment on how good I smell. It’s very therapeutic probably because of bergamot and sandal wood. I really do love the scent, it’s great all year around on my opinion and could be amazing signature scent.

I love this. It's unique in that there's no dupe I can think of. That's why I want it in my collection.

Such a pretty, classy fragrance. A nice balance of cherry blossom, almond, and vanilla.

This is a pretty scent. Nothing to write home about but it’s very inoffensive and easy to wear. The projection on me is so-so initially and then it settles into a skin scent after about an hour. Lasts on clothes for days though. I’ve heard some people say they only wear this during the warmer months but in my opinion it can be worn year round. This is definitely a floral gourmand scent and not a literal cherry scent. So if you are a huge cherry fragrance fan this may be slightly underwhelming. It’s quite an expensive fragrance and frankly, I don’t believe it is worth the price. I only have this because HOS was having a 50% off sale. For that price I think it’s great, but at full price I would have gladly passed (and I am someone who has and will spend an exorbitant amount of money on a fragrance I deem “worth it”). All in all, I’d give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. I don’t reach for this often but it’s nice to look at I suppose.

This is one of my go-to work scents as I work at a university medical campus / hospital. It’s sweet, floral, and subtle, making it very inoffensive. I like the scent but it’s not anything thats blown me out of the water. I blind bought the full bottle of this because I really wanted to own something from this house. To be honest, it’s not something I would buy again because the Sillage and longevity are quite mediocre for a scent coming out of the “House of Sillage”. Also, it’s really not worth the price (I got my cupcake 50% off thank goodness). Once I use it up, I’ll keep the cupcake for decoration cause it’s so damn cute but scent itself is really nothing to write home about.

Sweet, light, yam-mi, fruity floral, very safe choice,bottle is pretty as usual.

Very soft, surprisingly powdery but not in a direct sense. The impression is as if almonds and musk were in exactly the same dosage as cherry blossom and each of the ingrediends adds its own characteristic with exactly the same strenght. I must have expected a more floral scent, but this is cherry blossom done in a way that you can find in Prada Candy Kiss where orange blossom sits on a musky, fluffy cloud and here cherry blossom with almonds is all soft and sweet and gentle.

I love these cupcakes they are so cute....so cute in fact I want to buy one just to have the bottle but at the price I'd like to have juice that is AS pretty. I purchased a set of travelers and this one was in the collection. It is a very very subtle almond cherry scent. So subtle in fact I can barely smell it. So sadly not my pick for a full bottle.

If anyone could make me like a cherry/almond scent then it would be HOS, because I like a lot of their fragrances. But this one didn’t do it for me either, I think my nose just doesn’t love that type of scent profile

A nice soft cherry scent but too floral for my tastes.

I’m getting tired of reviewing fragrances from this house, it’s just boring reiterating pretty much the same lazy scent profile with slight tweaks. Cherry Garden is no different, save for the Cherr aspect of course, it’s boring and lazy and forgettable. It’s got a decent cherry accord, which apparently is supposed to be cherry blossom, I’ll take their word for it. Dry and slightly bitter almonds with vanilla are also notable, awash with bland woods and musks. It walks the line of clean and soapy, as well as sweet and edible. It’s not unpleasant, I just find it hard to imagine any self respecting person is spending this sort of money on what can only be described as some of the most unimaginative perfume I’ve ever encountered.

Well, my beautiful bottle from House of Sillage couldn't hold my heart with its fragrance within. It appears that most people think it is a spring/summer fragrance, but I just tested it again - YACK. However, it could just be my having issues with almond recently, and the fact that cherry doesn't come through at all for me. So sad nonetheless....

THIS SMELLS MATURE – ALMOST VINTAGE MATURE; LIKE A BOUCHERON FROM YESTERYEARS. NOT A BAD FRAGRANCE JUST DATED. YES, THERE IS ALMOND & VANILLA FOR SWEETNESS BUT IT IS NOT GOURMAND; IT IS FLORAL – CHERRY BLOSSOM IS THE LEAD NOTE BUT IT SMELLS LIKE HONEYSUCKLE. RATED: LIFE IS A BALANCE OF HOLDING ON AND LETTING GO...GOODBYE.

I put this on this morning before work and after a few hours couldn’t smell it at all. I reapplied after work. As soon as my daughter got in the car with me she asked my why the car smelled like baby wipes. Definitely on the NO list.

This smells like Nivea's cherry blossom lotion.. except the lotion lasts longer & has better sillage!

I think it's safe to say that most people who either blind bought or blind sampled House Of Sillage was lured by the bottle. No doubt, the presentation alone is worth the clamor. I must admit...after trying cherry garden, i don't remember being this disappointed since finding out that the Brontosaurus was a fake. Does it smell gourmand? Eh..kinda. Almond and musk are the predominate scene stealer here. What disturbs me most is that Cherry Garden smells like some sort of Bath and Body Works concoction a la Amber Romance. This stuff is too expensive to smell so cheap. Before you channel your inner Dennis Leary and throw darts, i suggest you to check this fragrance out for yourself. On another note: I did manage to get a really good compliment.

Cherry Garden is such a luxe scent - a soft gourmand that in the drydown shines with florals. A burst of vanilla and almond - this gives it a lovely sweet gourmand feel and you can feel this throughout. Its always there and I believe really sets the fragrance, however in the drydown it gets a bit more floral with jasmine and cherry blossom added - becomes a bit drier and sparklier, somehow a bit more colder, from the initial warmness. I love love love this - it is perfect for the current spring weather, shines in spring temperature, and it is 25% perfume concentration, so lasts a good while too! ♥️

On me this reminds me a bit of Burberry Brit. That’s the fragrance that comes to me. Cherry garden is sweeter though in that it doesn’t have that bright burst of lime. The bergamot in cherry garden is soft and refined. I still would want it in my collection. I only have a sample but it’s looking like I will make the investment and update more later when I have it 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

I really love this fragrance, it’s beautiful and a good scent for all year round wear.. however I find myself not reaching for it often enough to justify keeping it. I have other loves in my collection that gets my attention. Anyone looking to buy a bottle email me directly as I’m getting rid of mine. Wearing this today. Just the sample and I will say it has an enormous sillage. I left my office and the smell is still here. My coworker walked in and smelled it right away as well. It's a bit sweet but it doesn't smell terrible. Probably wont purchase a larger bottle though.

This perfume does not smell to my nose any of the one listed above as “this perfume reminds of”. This perfume took the cherry blossom to the next level. It’s fresh clean and soft. Safe to blind buy.. I don’t smell any almond. Will be my favorite morning fragrance ❤️

I was surprised how light and delicate this was? Not groundbreaking and dare I say a bit basic?? Opens with a bright Bergamot and almond. Dries down to a simple vanilla. Nice but just a bit predictable

Eh. Not what I expected. Glad I only had a sample. Didn't last in cooler weather. Will try again in warmer weather. Might change my opinion.

Smells like a lighter version of Joop Homme to me this scent could be unisex.
