Holiday Signature

I have worn this daily for 5 days, and am ready to adequately express my thoughts. This was a blind buy, and at first, I didn't like Holidays. It opens a bit sharp, with citrus and vetiver. Then in 5 minutes it dries down to a beautiful creamy citrus and woody dream. I occasionally get a whiff of something sweet, and that happens every time I wear it. The more I wear this, the more I fall in love with it. Get past the first 5 minutes, and it becomes a unique, creamsicle/woody and slightly sweet scent. It is Xerjoff's Lira's less sweet and mature cousin. It lasts a good 6 hours on my, then becomes a skin scent. I am so glad I love it now, because even though the bottle is STUNNING, the juice inside is what matters. BTW, this doesn't smell like Christmas AT ALL.

I got this direct from HOS on a sale. I hate the opening it smells a bit like cleaner. But that dries down quickly to something subtle sweet and woody. Feels sophisticated and unique while still familiar. I think it would be a general crowd pleaser. I paid around the $100 mark and for that I think the price is very reasonable. However I voted overpriced based on the OG price which is insane.

Holiday House of Sillage 2.5 parfum bottle reviewed Holiday opens up with a juicy blood orange and mandarin. At times, I can even pick up bitter acidic aspects of the rind. The peach adds some body, but mostly keeps the opening from veering too bitter and sour. Shortly after a clean rose surfaces, then a smoky vetiver and woody tone begin to creep in from the base. Its an interesting scent, encapsulates the season of a vintage Christmas celebration. It reads like a neo-chypre with its fresh green/citric elements. I wouldnt go so far as to call it floral-neo chypre as the floral aspects are balanced and the earthy green aspects of the vetiver and cedar/citrus elements seem to prevent this from asserting itself as a floral driven fragrance. The rooty, earthy vetiver plays a large part here in its backbone so if you love or loathe Haitian vetiver, its here in spades. The florals keep this from leaning too masculine, and at times seems to evolve with the jasmine and rose. I would classify Holiday is unisex. This isnt a girly feminine wear. Its well done with a certain refinement. Mark Buxton does his magic with seamless blending and some help here and there with aroma chemicals du jour (white musks). Lovely weighty, quality, iconic cupcake bottle.

My perfume collection is full of florals, fruity and gourmand fragrances. This perfume doesn’t fit in any of those boxes, which is why I love it. I wouldn’t call this woody or fresh as some has described it...well maybe slightly woody because of the cedar, but it’s not over powering. It’s different and is one of my favorites from HOS. I just wish it lasted longer. To barely reach 5 to 6 hours on clothes is ridiculous at this price point, even on sale.

I should’ve followed my heart and passed this like a bad habit but I went off of a few peoples words and I simply don’t like it, it remind me of soggy fruity pebbles the red box to be exact lol but it changes into sherbet ice cream and kind of goes south from there it’s not horrible but it’s just not for me it’s overrated. idk what people were talking about saying it smells like a vacation or holiday in a bottle lmao maybe if I mix it with one of my vanilla fragrances it will bring it to life 🤷🏽♀️ I must add I purchased over 20 fragrances from them and I haven’t had one that I hate they all is wearable and lovable. By the way Has anyone tried NICOLE'S DIAMOND MYSTERY VAULT 2024 from them? If so can you message me and tell what you received in the vault thank you!

I’m the opposite of most here. I love the bright, citrusy opening but feel less certain about the dry down. Getting very little cedar but am pulling heavy, soapy jasmine. It’s been about an hour and it’s already a skin scent. All in all, not bad. Just maybe not for me. I definitely think it’s worth sampling and would be a safe wear for most. EDIT: As the day wears on, it smells a little... dirty (?) on my skin? There’s a kind of sharpness mixing in with the soapy florals. It’s hard to describe. I’m new to frags. Is this the indolic qualities of jasmine I’ve heard about?

The earthy accord comes through in the opening and smells a bit powdery. It reminds me of those fresh out of the shower moments...giving citrus deodorant vibes. Overall, the scent can be accomplished from a designer fragrance. Definitely not worth the price point. Think Donna Karan Cashmere Mist.

Very disappointing. This is a soapy semi sweet scent. The performance is horrible.

This straight up smells like Ajax cleaning powder to me. So much so that I googled "Ajax scent" and it came up with the notes of cedar, pine and citrus. I guess that makes sense, then. So I have a beautiful travel spray holder, and 3 vials that I am going to use to freshen up my bathroom, lol.
