Icy Hard Candy

This is absolutely my favorite cupcake! I was very surprised by it b/c I was expecting a fruity, fresh scent, with the blue bottle and all. This scent is much more mature & a little deeper than I was expecting, but I'm pleasantly surprised. 1st I Want to say this parfum is VERY well blended b/c personally I feel like I smelt EVERY note in this fragrance throughout its life but it all blended so perfectly, and transitioned so gracefully between each note. Sweet b/c of the berries and ylang-ylang, yet mature and dark b/c of the sandlewood,clove and patchouli. Its a sweet, semi chilling, calming scent. You still need to enjoy soft sweet scents to enjoy this frag. Rating is Scent: 8/10. Longevity: 6/10. Sillage: 4/10. Bottle: 10/10. Uniqueness 5/10. rated: 6/10

I am just here to say - this smells so damn good. EVEN better in cooler weather. It's just - IDK how to describe it. FIRST it's UNIQUE, I have about 550+ fragrances & this really stands out and reminds me really of nothing I HAVE or have TRIED. I smell the vanilla, the berries, clove and patchouli on me - this makes for a really sexy mixture on my skin and VERY fragrant. The bottles are so over the top, and the TOP the LID is sooo heavy - but very unique. I am a fan!

Fragrantica has this scent profile spot on. This is the most adult candy perfume I've ever smelled. I like sweet scents but not too sweet, and this fits the bill. It has three heavy hitters for the base notes, and they really ground this perfume and make it modern while the berries and ylang ylang give it that sweetness that I love. The clove and vanilla comes off very caramel to me, but like a rich caramel that you'd get in a fancy restaurant. Love this stuff.

The comparison to Black Orchid is interesting. The note undercurrent of both scents is similar, but there is no comparison in how they wear on the skin. Black Orchid is light-years more punchy and spicy than Icy. The spice in Icy remains more in the background. It feels cooler, icier, if you will, than Black Orchid, which is just a riot of strong notes all playing together with wild abandon. One is reserved and proper while the other is reckless and passionate. The notes may have similarities, but the expression of one is the polar opposite of the other.

my first cupcake from hos, only cuz it was gifted to me by a friend that purchased for herself, and found it too masculine. it's a good smelling man in Spring/Summer vibes for sure imo. super long lasting. fresh with just a sprinkle of sweetness and a hint of warmness. not something i would purchase due to its price tag, but i will definitely use up the juice.

A masculine cupcake. That's how I'd describe Icy Hard Candy. The clove, sandalwood and patchouli stand out the most. If you enjoy sweet fragrances that lean masculine, definitely get a sample. Also, a man could totally wear this and he'd smell delicious enough to eat.

Great news for those who like this — once you put it on, it is never coming off (and I say this as someone whose skin devours frags). It personally didn’t work for me, but it wasn’t bad. Sweet clove at the start, and earthy and spicy on the dry down. Was looking forward to the vanilla and caramel mentioned by others but had no luck. I can see this as a mature “candy” and get where HoS was going with this. I don’t think it’s safe enough for a blind buy, especially now that it’s OOS and only pops up for high prices on the secondhand market. Grab a sample if you can before committing.

Smells like fruity candy with some crispness at first . Ends the tiniest bit powdery. Super faint on me and no projection. I like this the best of the sweet atelier collection just wish it was more potent Update: dry down then is straight sandalwood powder

This smells odd to me. Not very sweet just odd i cant even describe it. The worst of the collection IMO.

I was so disappointed with this cupcake. (With the entire Sweet Atelier collection, really.) When I initially sprayed it on a piece of paper, it smelled like what a man's long-sleeved button shirt would smell after a long day of work at a white-collar job but with a lot of running around the office and just a hint of whichever cologne he sprayed on in the morning. Even though this scent was not pleasant, I sprayed it on my arm to see if it would smell better on skin. Nope. At least not on mine.

such a disappointment! why this fragrance is in one of the cupcake bottles, I will never understand. There is nothing sugary about this. I wouldn't even describe it as a "sweet" fragrance. Lots of patchouli, not sure what else. I took about three whiffs and scrubbed it off my wrist. Should not have been part of the sweet atelier collection in my opinion, as that seems a bit misleading.

I love the bottle and noes in this. The comparison to black orchid is frustrating bc I hate the notes is black orchids pyramid and hate the perfume. The note pyramids don't seem to have commonality, but we all know that means nothing. Please tell me this smells nothing like black orchid! I'm a total Shanghai lily and noir kinda girl. I thought it'd smell like Shanghai lily.

On first snif I get total black orchid vibes (tom ford). Must be the patchouli. I definitely like it though. Not at all what the bottle made me expect. It’s much darker than the bottle would make you think! This is what I imagine the Batman one to smell like (without looking at notes, just the association).

I'm very picky about Ylang Ylang and clove fragrances but this sounds absolutely perfect for me!

Smells like a spa, natural smelling botanicals and florals with some light spices.
