Mickey Mouse The Fragrance

This is a unique one. A highly pleasant, unisex/feminine freshie with a balance of warm sweetness to round it out, spices and coconut. When smelled up close I definitely get the citruses strongly the first half hour. It immediately gives the impression that it's about to unfold into something beautiful and more complex... And it does. I was looking for coconut in the opening, but it comes out in the mid and sticks around to the end. As the "freshie" phase enters the coconut phase it starts to take on its true form... A deliciously rounded, warm, sweet tropical fragrance. Somewhat beachy, but not really. It's more understated and elevated than the traditional tiare coconut beachy scent. Orange blossom is there, making it vaguely floral in the background. It's never outright "chocolatey." Cacao just makes it a bit more nuanced, like adding cocoa powder to chili to enhance the flavor. Vanilla, Tonka and amber make it warm and cozy. It edges on gourmand but never quite goes there. The magic of this fragrance happens when it projects and I catch whiffs of it in my personal bubble. In this capacity it smells amazingly warm, tropical, gently spicy. I love that they used cardamom! I find it complex, and on the subdued side. I appreciate that the sweet, creamy notes aren't heavy and it never turns into a simple woody vanilla. I'd swear I smell high quality patchouli essence waaay deep in the drydown. It's so slight, it could just be me. It's insanely pleasant but I'm finding it hard to describe how beautifully it unfolds & presents on my skin. It has individual top, mid and base layers which stay in their place, but at the same time weave seamlessly together. For this reason it's best enjoyed catching the air as it projects rather than trying to dissect it. It's of niche quality, as I hoped, and super easy to wear. A great balance of casual and classy, my favorite types. I happen to appreciate the strength of it; not too strong, not a skin scent. It lasts and projects about 5 hours on me. Could be better, but the quality is there so I accept the moderate performance. It's the kind of fragrance that makes me feel special. For these reasons I'm seriously considering buying a full bottle. I realize part of what makes it so special is that it never goes full-blown anything! It's not quite one of anything... Beachy, floral, gourmand, woody... It hints at all of these things, which combined makes for an outstanding fragrance. Well done!!!

I got my bottle and I gotta say, it is weighty and luxurious. I also bought Benevolence from the signature collection, not limited edition, and Mickey is more impressive. The added cost must be in the presentation box, the Mickey ears + the few extra crystals on the bottle. I'm very happy to have it and my feelings about the scent are the same as my review below. I only wish it came in 100 ml. Adding this review to say that I get a few hours of strong wear out of it. It is very potent in the first hour, so I have to be careful not to overspray. After that it starts to lose some of its volume and by hour 3 it stays pretty close to the skin. It continues to peek at me with little wafts throughout the day, so I know it lasts. After washing and drying a sweatshirt that sat in the hamper for a week I could still smell Mickey. It had residual perfume on the sleeves from rubbing against my skin, but it was never sprayed directly. Now that's good lasting power. The more I wear it the more I recognize its strength and sense that it is, in fact, extrait de parfum concentration. The Mickey sample I got prior to purchasing the bottle was my first taste of HOS and it caught me by total surprise, temporarily washing away all of my apprehensions about these cupcakes. It gave me a boost of confidence that the rest of the range would be as good, if not close to as good as Mickey. Had it not been for that unsolicited sample arriving in a totally unrelated package, my interest for the HOS probably would have never been ignited. Mickey is far and away THE unique fragrance from the HOS (not counting the Whispers Collection. Haven't tried those yet). It smells like extra care was put into the making of the scent. Mickey is a beautiful, comfortable fragrance for me and my aesthetic. The bottle is a treat to look at, hold and apply. My usual style is a beautiful classic bottle with clean lines, but it was fun going outside my norm and treating myself with something different. It is really something special in my collection and I adore it. I've never smelled anything else quite like it.

Okay I have now owned this fragrence for 2 years, I have tested this fragrence and played with in all ways possible. Hot/cold weather, layering, day & night wear. etc. I actually didn't like it that much when I 1st smelt it...but after giving it a full wear, I ended up loving it. For me I get coconut milk 1st and throughout, then I get tonka bean, a light mandarin orange, vanilla, cacao, and just a sprinkle of orange blossom. I initially thought this was a straight winter fragrance. Wore it on Christmas day actually b/c it does have some warm qualities to it.....and while this is a highly versatile scent great for both seasons winter b/c of the vanilla, tonka, and cacao, and summer b/c of the coconut milk, orange blossom, and bergamot. I found this last longer and wears well in late spring, Nd summer time! I found what layer BEST with it was Disco DayDream By BBW body cream, i mean it had my parfum lasting so long on my skin & really brought a little more sweetness in this fragrance out, and the different coconuts just mingling and playing together. I was like these summer layering actually work way better then my winter layering. For a winter layering I used Warm Vanilla Sugar BBW cream, or frosted coconut snowball body cream. Both smelt great and I enjoyed it a lot, BUT omg it's just shining this summer!!! Parfums to layer it with...summer: Alien Godess, At the beach BBW body mist, Disco Daydream BBW mist(My fav), and bronze godess by este lauder, Hundred Silent ways by Nishane, winter: Frosted Coconut snowflakes BBW mist. But anyways in my opinion this is DEF a summer frag, all the way, just smells better and Performs better in the heat! I love this frag & it last literally forever on clothes and 4 plus hours on my skin! This is the perfect creamy, sweet summer scent that will remain in my collection as long as it's made!

Creamy, delicious coconut. I have several perfumes from HOS, which I get impulsive, just because they are on sale, and I don't love them. Just cute, vanity decorations is what they've become. But not this one. I get coconut, cream and vanilla. So soft and sexy. I love coconut scents, and this is the most sophisticated one I own. Would I have paid full price? Nope--I don't love it that much lol, but with the HOS famous sales, you can't go wrong. Plus, I love everything Disney, so it's a win. Does not remind me anything of Soleil Blanc though. I actually owned that and gave it to my son, bc I thought it leaned very masculine. And to compare tot Bath & Body Works body sprays, well this is not as loud or harsh in your face coconut. It actually reminds me of another favorite Estee Lauder, Sensuous Nude, which if I could find it for an affordable price I would rebuy. Mickey is done very well. Classy and understated, I don't want to always be the one who is known for her fragrance. Sometimes I want to be in the background, and be subtle. I think it's great for both men and women. Totally worth it!

So this scent I absolutely did not like when I 1st received, but now I actually quite enjoy it, and I especially like to layer with my other scents such as black opium or Nishane a hundred silent ways, to mix it up a little and add a little edge to those very sweet scents. This mickey pulls very coconut, cardamom on me, thats almost all I get. Do I hate this scent? no. Will I purchase this scent again? also no. if it was 100 or less I may have thought about it, but for the price I don't find it to me a scent that I MUST have, i actually perfer my Mugler alien goddess(a cliche much cheaper scent then this) if we're talking coconut. But again it's not terrible and it pretty good for layering, it also lasts a very long time on me and projection is moderate..

This is by far the most unique smell from House of Sillage. It smells really nice ,and cozy. It is my favorite coconut perfume smell. I believe it smells better than Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford in my opinion. This is a great Niche fragrance to those who appreciate Niche coconut smells. It is not childish or cheap at all. It is a smell that makes you happy and uplifted. Sophisticated and lactonic. I highly recommend this perfume and I love the buttercup design with the Mickey ears. I have two full bottles in my collection and love them. Worth the price. I also own Delina by Parfums de Marly and Baccarat Rouge 540 so if you like that caliber of Niche fragrances then you will love this one!

It is kinda of a tropical, beachy, cozy, sweet scent. I blind bought this spendy fragrance. yep. and it is a WIN. Love the scent. ❤️ Definitely smell the coconut. the citrus and bergamot make it fresh, i am picking up the cardamom, a light sweet orange blossom, hint of dusty cocoa, on a creamy vanilla amber sandalwood base. it is really good. Lasts a LONG time. The bottle is GORGEOUS. HOS Mickey Mouse is a really nice fragrance, easy to wear.

I bought the full bottle for $400 and I don't regret it at all. I put this on and it legit made me happy. It's so sweet, coconutty, cocoa, yet fresh and floral at the same time. It's what you think Mickey or Minnie would smell like. Nothing offputting. It's just... sweet soul. Does that make sense? AND it lasts forever! Is beautiful too.

@Ripgirl9000 I thought the exact samething when in 1st recieved mickey. Wasn't a fan at all. But after it rested for all of winter, that next summer I pulled it out to do one last wear test, now he is a coconut, orange blossom and cacao pod KING! Very very nice, soft, feminine and a great summer frag. Don't give up quiet yet.

Very coconut and suntan lotion to me. Not exact, but reminds me of Soleil Blanc, which I love. I bought the discovery set with Minnie, and I really want a full bottle of each. Waiting for Mickey to go in sale and a restock of Minnie. They are very different, but both delicious.

This is for DUA's version, ''Magical Mouse''. Never tried this one. I bought Magical Mouse because I love the photo on the bottle and because I have nicknamed my male collie "mouse". It starts off sweet, fruity from the mandarin, balsamic amber-y smooth from the cocoa absolute and amber notes, with a fresh yet syrupy coconut and a soft, mellow, green earthy- herbal nuance from the cardamom. Very beautiful opening, creamy, aromatic, so unique. The mid-phase, early drydown are different, more fresh, sweet in a solar soft manner, high pitched, no balsamic syrupy element anymore, while the coconut - bergamot become watery kinda ozonic, and the cardamom gives a more intense herbal green element. I like the opening more as it is fruity sweet yet ambery sophisticated without being sharp or peppery and with that balsamic, somewhat deep cacao absolute note and the creamy fresh coconut - very addicting. I hope as it matures that it will retain the amber-y balsamic cocoa sweetness of the opening throughout. The mid phase-early drydown are giving a little cleaning product vibes for a moment, from the coconut bergamot being ozonic sour-fresh and the cardamom smelling like basil or something at this point. It's good just weird. The orange blossom contributes to that watery high-pitched sweet effect of the mid and early drydown, giving a solar feel to the scent and a subtle sweet saltiness as orange blossom usually does. The cardamom is smooth and herbal-earthy, very beautiful in the later drydown too. If I smell my skin up close in the later drydown, I detect some of the syrupy amber and the deep cocoa effect left, it's like they came back to stay, but I hope with maceration that it will remain syrupy throughout. The coconut is still fresh in the later drydown with a subtle creaminess. So the later drydown somehow regains some of the sweet creamy allure of the opening. It smells sweeter with every spray, so it def needs to sit a little. It wears close to the skin as of right now. I LOVE the beautiful sweet deeper amber-y cocoa balsamic fruity yet coconut-fresh opening with the herbal-earthy touch of cardamom. I don't get the coconut-cardamom suntan lotion scent of Crystal Noir - usually cardamom gives a tanning lotion effect if paired with coconut or lavender - but no tanning lotion effect in the Magical Mouse, and no Crystal Noir resemblance which some folks reported for the Mickey Mouse. Also the sandalwood is subtle, it's not the pencil shavings creamy sandalwood of Crystal Noir. The cardamom here is softer overall, no masculine vibe, and the coconut is not overly tropical, plus it lacks the indolic gardenia of Crystal Noir. The coconut in Magical Mouse is leaning clean and fresh from the bergamot. After wearing it for a few days, I notice the syrupy sweet amber-cocoa scent lingering subtly in the drydown smelling almost like chocolate, so that's promising. I paid 36.40 for Magical Mouse.

This is a sandalwood bomb on me. Some floral nuances keep it fresh, the cacao adds a musky aspect. The coconut seems to round it together and add a bit of creaminess. But overall, SANDALWOOD! Definitely a spring/summer day scent IMO. Although I cannot attest to the performance in warmer temperatures, this would be an amazing scent for a beach day/tropical vacation! Beachy without smelling like sunscreen or straight coconut. Makes me think of boujee boutiques in high end Florida strip malls, hahah. My male partner let me spray once on his wrists and his comment was “that smells very womanly” (gotta love him) and I agree, I find this leans more “feminine” than unisex, BUT to each their own and it is going to smell different on different people. It feels more feminine to me because it brings to mind blown out blonde hair, mimosas in flute glasses being held by manicured fingers on a patio in the sunlight surrounded by palm trees and sand, baby pink silk and pearls. I used up my tester but will not be buying a full bottle because it’s not really my vibe, but it is absolutely a beautiful beachy scent.

I’ve gone back and forth on whether I want to buy this (on a sale, obviously). It’s a fun, summer scent. It falls into the “sunscreen” category, but it’s unique enough to stand on its own. It must be the mix of coconut, cocoa, and vanilla that gives it that extra little something. Like a gourmand sunscreen 😋 It may not be totally worth it to some, as it by no means blows you away, but simply for the fact it is unique in its category, I kind of feel like I have to have it. 😅 That cocoa really gets me obsessing for more. And like with all HoS, that bottle, tho 🤩 As far as longevity, this is one I can’t smell after an hour or so. However, when I go to pick up my clothes that had been sprayed with it, I definitely smell it, even days later. Definitely makes me go nose blind, but it is surely there.

So it hit me at first with coconut and a smidge of tanginess (maybe the bergamot?). Kind of tropical. I think I may like it, but still undecided. The sandalwood is wanting to creep out too much and something in this makes me a bit dizzy. Don't know why as I've gotten older so many things cause dizziness and nausea. I suspect it'll just be mostly sandalwood spice after an hour or so, but staying optimistic . If those kinds of notes don't tend to be overwhelming on your skin then you'll love this. I'm not good at reviewing perfumes but I'm doing my best and hopefully can be helpful! Update 6/2023: I decided to give it another go and spray with BBW pink pineapple sunrise, 30 min in , it's still pulling coconut and pineapple, no evidence of sandalwood yet. Mostly topical so I have faith!

So I got the discovery set of minnie and mickey for me and my mom. I hated minnie and liked mickey while my mom didn't care much for mickey and liked minnie so we swapped to have doubles of the ones we preferred. I really like this scent, its a nice light citrusy floral with a little warmth from the cacao and amber that balances well. A bit more fem leaning, great for everyday wear. But for as much as I do enjoy this scent, the performance is underwhelming. It sits very close to the skin and is gone in 2-3 hours, which is very disappointing, especially since it's so expensive. I know sometimes this house has extreme sales, so I say it's worth the wait to get it when it's 50% off.

Got a sample with my order from HoS. They are running incredible promotions right now. Anyways, I didn’t really understand why this was named Mickey until wearing it. The screechy coconut opening and the gourmand vanilla-choc dry down it makes complete sense to me and reminds me of Main Street. I like it but don’t know if I love it enough to buy. The bottle is quite impressive though. I still don’t understand why people hate on this brand so much.

This fragrance is a good balance of spicy and sweet with a sprinkle of Disney pixie dust. It shines the brightest in cooler weather. It’s well blended, and my nose doesn’t pick up a strong coconut note. I compared it directly with TF Soleil Blanc and don’t detect any resemblance. Soleil Blanc makes me feel nauseated and is a much stronger fragrance.

I really love this fragrance. Mine arrived today and put on and it smells great. It is a comlex fragrance but I do not find it to be unisex. It is quite feminine. The packagining is exquisite. It is whimsical yet glam.

Is good, but longevity is about 3 hrs. Too expensive for what it gives. I feel everything from HOS is about the bottles. Juice is weak.

This does not smell like Mickey Mouse to me. Very masculine at opening but then mellows out with some sweetness. Spicy and Woody at opening, and then a little vanilla sweetness cuts it as it settles on the skin. This is a fall fragrance or night fragrance to me. Warm spices with vanilla undertones and very faint citrus tone in the background. There is no creamy or tropical coconut in here to my nose. Someone mentioned onion-ish, and I do smell that, but in a fresh spicy way. The bottle is SOO CUTE, so that is what would draw me to a purchase. But based on the scent alone, I would not purchase.

Super generic coconut water- along the lines of Bronze Goddess Fraiche. A likeable fragrance, im not shocked to see so many loves because this would.be great for someone who doesn't want an overpowering, well defined or strong-willed fragrances but wants simple, easy to wear and a recognizable (by bottle only) niche fragrance. --perfect for someone that prefers clean, sweet musk like fragrances

This is probably the WORST frag house I have EVER tried. A bath and body works spray has more sillage, strength, and it's not costing an arm and a leg. Not worth it even on sale lol it's just a pretty bottle. That aside this is rancid coconut milk with citrus.

After reading all of the great reviews, I feel quite betrayed. This was on sale on the HOS website and being a gourmand lover, especially of cocoa and vanilla, also love sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Coconut, I pulled the trigger and bought it, scent unsmelled. I should have realized there must be a valid reason why it was on sale. There is nothing special about this fragrance. I was shocked to find that the scent actually runs in the vein of Angel in the drydown. I'm actually quite pissed patchouli isn't listed in the ingredients because I swear it's in there, deep down, as another reviewer noted. If it was listed, I would have NEVER EVER purchased it. I hate patchouli. I hate patchouli and cocoa. I hate Angel. Lo and behold. Here is an overpriced, coconut-spiced version of Angel once it drys down, which lasts forever (it's a scrubber), if that's what you're looking for. $300+ down the drain for me. Positives? Hmmm....The bottle is cute, that's all I got.

Can barely smell it. Similar in that regard to Creed VIW. Perhaps I am anosmic? I honestly don’t get the hype for this one. Mancera Holidays is my go-to coconut and outperforms this by MILES. Very cute packaging tho.

When I looked at the notes I was shocked... coconut??? I just get soapy aldehydes

I love coconut. I love indolic frags. But I *strongly* dislike this indolic coconut frag - I actually recoiled a little when I first smelled it. The coconut is dominant - you'll be hard-pressed to find any of the other notes because of how it drowns everything else out. But the coconut isn't a creamy, "cool" coconut. Instead it's a "yellow" coconut - very indolic. And in this frag, it comes across very animalic - almost "onion-like" to my nose (similar to Philosophy Amazing Grace Jasmine). Not blind buy friendly - definitely sample first!

I went through 2 samples, and I like it a lot. It's delicious cardamom coconut milk with vanilla and cacao. Not juvenile at all... and very elegant. Interesting fragrance. Soft intimate sillage and 4 hours longevity. The packaging is gorgeous, too. I would buy it, if performance was better. It sits close to the skin, very soft and comforting. For the price I expect a better longevity, 14 hrs + is a must for me at this price point. Maybe if it goes on sale. Maybe... I think it's a summer fragrance for hot weather... but it's rather underwhelming. I have some heavy hitters from this house, and I was expecting just a little bit more.

Got a sample with my order. To my nose, the mandarin is prominent, so much that it almost covers all other notes. Smells exactly like a mandarin peel, and, right after, you get the coconut milk for the first 5 mn. It's young, fresh and, I am sorry, that has the same effect on me as a bathroom air freshener. As much as I love some of their creations, this one is definitely a big pass...

Guys let the bottle sit and marinate a little... I brought this guy to D.R with me... it’s sooooo coconutty but in the best way! It’s a really nice vacation fragrance. Esp during the nights... too heavy for day time. The sillage and longevity are moderate. Would I purchase this again... nope but I have enjoyed it!

The coconut in this has a sunscreen quality to it which unfortunately isn't what I was looking for. But if that is what you're looking for, this should fit the bill nicely for the summer time. Very much on par with a scent like Soleil Blanc from Tom Ford if you're familiar with that.

Simply put, it smells like real coconut milk. If you’ve ever opened a can of coconut milk, it is that but a little bit sweeter in the opening with a coconut soap drydown/mild astringent note. It’s a real coconut, not a beachy or suntan lotion coconut.

If you're a fan of Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Coconut Fizz, you'll enjoy this Mickey fragrance by House of Sillage. Same sort of fresh, green and coconut water scent but a bit better blended, in my opinion. And still available and constantly on sale!

Oh wow! I like this more than I thought I would! I love anything with coconut! This to me is what I call a fresh coconut frag! Although it's a warm scent I feel like it's a fresh coconut vs. a sweet candy coconut! It's really good!

HS fragrances doesn’t smell like niche perfumes at all. It’s like a luxury body works perfumes with more refined ingredients. It’s a citrusy coconut water fragrance. Great for summer.

On the hunt for a House of Sillage I like for th bottle - this one is not it. it is very subtle. A little too subtle.

Smells verrrry close to Mancera’s Coco Vanille. You are buying a fancy bottle.

I want this, but the price is insane😩
