Minnie Mouse The Fragrance

Minnie Mouse truly met my expectations for my sweet tooth—you must love sweet fragrances to enjoy it. The density and sweetness shine especially well on cool/cold days. Since I live in France, it was challenging to acquire since the House of Sillage Disney collection is exclusive to the US market, but I managed to get it during a sale :) This marshmallow, caramel, and raspberry combination is heavenly for any gourmand lover. The opening presents rich raspberry with soft marshmallow, while caramel lingers in the background. As it develops, the vanilla base and subtle coconut create a beautiful fluffiness. The musk is barely noticeable, and the cedar note keeps this fragrance from feeling too childish. While not particularly innovative in its note composition, it's one of the most well-blended fragrances I've ever experienced. It's not a projecting powerhouse—people need to be close to smell it—but it lasts 6-8 hours on my skin. Pro tip: If you want to enhance the perfume's performance, Brown Sugar Babe has created a body oil with the same scent! Is it worth the price? At full price ($395), absolutely not! However, House of Sillage frequently offers sales (30% off and sometimes 50% off), so I highly recommend getting it during these promotions. Plus, the bottle is a true masterpiece... I've also tried the Dapper version, and honestly, I'll only repurchase that one from now on. Though not as well-blended as the original, it's 90% similar with slightly more raspberry. The Dapper version's performance is incredible, projecting much better than the original. For my European friends who can't access it, the perfume Barbe à papa/Cotton Candy from Tutti Delices is an excellent dupe. It's very affordable (10-15€) and performs similarly to the original.

Honest and LONG review ahead... I enjoy this, it's sweet, fun, and flirty. Do I need a backup? Nah Would I pay full price or more for it? Hell no If I didn't have it, would I miss it? Maybe (because I'm a Minnie fan). Am I obsessed? Not really, but still love it. It smells like raspberry cotton candy to me. Nothing more nothing less. I don't get much of a standout marshmallow, cream, or caramel note. To my nose, there is a slight synthetic undertone in Minnie that I'm surprised not many people are speaking about. The comparisons to Raspberry Jam Donut are incorrect because that one has a strong realistic fried pastry note that is NOT in Minnie. So not sure where that came from. I'm also not sure where the frenzy for this particular scent came from as I honestly feel as though Hufflepuff is a way more sophisticated and well-blended scent profile. But hey folks wanna smell like candy sometimes.. including me. Just please do not get robbed paying these inflated prices... especially since this is technically (as of today) only sold out with talk of restock. Now it IS pretty good, and I would 100% recommend it on sale. But if you miss out, there are simply better or just as good fragrances out there.

I was leary of this one because, well . . . "Minnie Mouse" doesn't exactly sound like a fragrance created with middle-aged women in mind. But, the notes were tempting my gourmand-loving heart, so I ordered a sample. And OMG, this is what heaven should smell like! To me, the opening is dominated by the raspberry note, which almost immediately turns into the most amazing raspberry marshmallow scent. So, in spite of the "bottle" being a Minnie Mouse cupcake encrusted with crystals, which I had already written off as kitschy at best, most likely tacky AF, I ordered my full bottle as soon as it went on sale. But, color me shocked, the bottle is actually quite spectacular in person. Really striking, so so pretty, very heavy/substantial feeling. (And the way the atomizer sprays is perfection). Overall, by far the best unboxing experience of any perfume purchase I've ever made. I have never even considered keeping the box in which the perfume comes before, but am keeping this one, and also might even keep the minnie mouse bag that was included. So, as ridiculous as the price point may seem for a Minnie Mouse themed perfume . . . it's worth every cent.

This is a beautiful fragrance (for a gourmand lover). It is unique IMO. It doesn't smell like anything else I have anyway. It reminds me of those pink and white (strawberry and white chocolate) chocolate mice mixed with Jazzies/ Snowies; the disc shaped (white) chocolate, with sprinkles on top. There is a real sweet and milky mix going on. A bit like a milkshake made with Nesquik milkshake powder. I don't smell the coconut and I am usually quite sensitive to it as my nose doesn't like it much in perfume but it is subtle in Minnie. I much prefer it to Mickey which is heavy on the coconut for me. I would not recommend blind buying this if you do not like sweet/ gourmand perfumes, especially as it is on the expensive side. I love it and don't mind smelling like a treat. The bottle is beautiful/ cute. The only down side is that the juice leaks a tiny bit, onto the sprayer, making the gold peel off just below the sprayer. Otherwise, the design is lovely! I I think it projects really well and lasts a whole working day but I spray a lot, and on my clothes. I could definitely smell myself through out the day.

I just received Minnie as a birthday gift & it has very quickly become my #1 favorite fragrance ever. I’m a huge gourmand lover & it just doesn’t get any sweeter than this- imo it is PERFECT! So sugary sweet, creamy, & fruity- mouth watering! i love how it even has a slight tropical vibe thanks to the coconut. the cedar wood & musk round the fragrance to keep it from becoming juvenile- this is grown woman & dare i say even sexy? Every time i smell this it’s instant happiness. I’ve already gotten countless compliments & even noticed people lingering around me longer than they should to also enjoy all her glory LOL. As soon as this goes on sale i will be grabbing a back-up, I wish this perfume wasn’t limited edition because I never want to be without it.
