Nouez Moi

I love this fragrance. It's my second piece from House of Sillage, and there are a few more on my "must have" list. The fragrance is just beautiful - fruity, floral, spicy, but not sharp or boring in any way. I get a bit of a classic (slightly powdery) vibe, though not "dated" in the least. Quality fragrance that comes across as soft and pleasant (won't offend), yet very unique and definitely not bland or forgettable -quite the opposite. I agree with the last reviewer that it is similar to Bottega Veneta EDP, despite the differences in notes and a distinctly different opening. I received a sample of Bottega the other day with one of my fragrance purchases from Bergdorf Goodman, and was eager to compare. Yes, similar, but not the same, and I much prefer Nouez Moi for it's superb lasting power, beautiful bottle, and nicer blend (IMO). I wore both fragrances one on each arm, and and continued to enjoy NM long after no trace of BV remained. NM is more refined, softer (quality-wise, not in terms of projection), and again, perhaps a tad more powdery, more luxurious. I do like Bottega now that I have tried it, but no regrets having spent my money on Nouez Moi.

It took me a while to describe this scent. A little hard, but not because it's a bomb of notes. Why exactly, I do not know. Perhaps because she is very unique to my nose. To start, in the opening I sense immediately a spicy but slightly sweet pepper en a very clean and elegant type of rose. As it settles on my skin, the patchoeli gives a more earthy tone and the bergamot adds a light, but welcome sour edge. This makes the whole scent more mature and elegant. The kardamom then, gives a soft, powdery note to it whereby it's a fragrance made to wear with the dresscode 'Black Tie'. Maybe that explains the name, 'Tie Me'? All perfumes made bij this house are Extraits (30% perfume), whereby you don't have to worry about sillage or longevity. Of course, it should match your skin. Nouez Moi stays easily for almost 24 hours on me, and even the next day I can smell vague traces of rose and patchoelieleafs. Nouez Moi wears present, but fresh, and the rose is amazingly elegant yet seductive. A lady of class, taste and elite. The inspiration of this fragrance was according to Nicole Mather, no one less than the beautiful Audrey Hepburn.

This scent is very captivating and beautiful as is the black cupcake bottle design! This is a beautiful classy sexy grown up rose scent! I originally purchased a discovery set from House of Silage and fell in love with this one right away. The smell lasted a longtime on my skin. I would say at least 8 hours. I kept getting wafts of the scent throughout the day and I just had to have a full bottle. That being said, as much as I love this scent, I could not bring myself to pay full price and was resolved to just enjoy the sample for as long as possible. But, to my delight it went on sale and I was able to pick up a bottle for half price! Half price seems like a good value given the uniquely gorgeous bottle and lovely scent. Full price is way more than I would be willing to pay! If you like roses scents and beautiful bottles give this one a try.

This one is indeed pretty similar to Bottega Venetta's. My nose is not sophisticated enough at this point to differentiate too much between the two. That being said, Bottega Veneta was a RARE love-at-first sniff for me. So do you need both? probably not. Do I need both? Yes. Only bc this is one of my absolute favorite type of scents.

This is a musty, retro-feeling, dusty patchouli rose. It's spicy, and although it's not listed, I'm getting cumin, which makes it smell a little animalic on my skin. I adore patchouli, but this one isn't a love. I've tried others in this style, and although I love all the notes listed, the way they are used here just isn't my preference. I'm happy to try a House of Sillage perfume, because I don't have a lot of on skin experience with them. The good news is that upon wearing, the cumin settles down and it gains a fuzzy peachy feeling, making it much more comfortable and approachable. I do feel a touch of cardamom, which adds to its warmth. It starts to feel similar to one of my favorites, Guerlain's Chypre Fatal, from their Elixir Charnel collection. I prefer the latter's opening and heart far more, though, and the peachiness is more pronounced there.

agree with last review.Ordered 6 samples from theis house. inittial smell of quality oils, although strong to start. good sillage and kept getting plesant wafts throughout day, interesting twist on rose but bit too peppery on me. good longevity nice enough but not worth price tag

Yes, this is a soft and pleasant scent. Comes on a bit intense and then settles down. Out of the bottle the pepper rules. Rose and spices take over from there. More daytime wear. Attractive. Should be office safe if lightly applied.

This is my cup of tea and delicious cup cake))). Nice, floral chypre, soft and pleasant, classy and feminine, is my favorite of all Silage's perfumes so far.

Although some may be put off by the notes, this is not a patchouli bomb to me. None of the notes seem to be overbearing. It's not what I'd typically enjoy, but I can still acknowledge the beauty in the blend. The rose and bergamot keep it from getting too heavy, however it still leans masculine. If you told me the only note in it was suede, I would believe that! Intimate sillage.

This just seems very male to me. Cant quite put my finger on why except perhaps the Patchouli and Bergamot blend. Still searching for the HOS juice that is pleasing enough to buy the pretty packaging. any suggestions? or empty containers for sale???? I have a shadow box full of my prettiest bottles.

It has a medicine cabinet smell, don’t like it at all. All you who love baccarat rouge 540, you might like it and find some sweet sugar in it...lol...sorry if it sounds too sarcastic 🙈

Ugh, this one starts out really masculine leathery and then quickly changes to dusty, dusty, dusty musty. A scrubber for me, unfortunately.

Nouez Moi was the last one I tested from the signature Travel set and I'm not sure why! It's lovely! There's nothing challenging about it to my nose. It does smell a bit leathery like Bottega Veneta. It even has the bergamot on top, so yeah it's the same kind of scent, but Nouez Moi is an elevated, smoother take. Not sure what's causing the suede / leather accord though? It's definitely a little spicy, not too much. I love cardamom and I do get some here. The patch makes it earthy, camphorpus, and deep. The rose smells red and velvety. Perfect time to have tested this out as fall is approaching. I just know it's going to work wonderfully with the crisp autumn air. It smells like the colors of changing leaves. It's a comforting, grounding type of scent. It's pretty much devoid of any sweetness, except the slight sweetness rose provides. Not an everyday scent for me because I do like a little more sweetness, but I'll be give it some good wear once a darker, vampy mood hits. P.S. Would smell AMAZING on a man

Update: It is interesting how this perfume grew in me. While I still would not pay full price for it, there is something about this perfume! I do enjoy this whisper of it. It is not statement type of perfume, yet it is cozy and comforting. You definitely have to be into earthy, patchouli notes to enjoy it. Original review: I might be little behind exploring house of sillage, but considering price point, it took me awhile to get to it. Immediately I definitely pick up on pink pepper and bergamot. Following by definite note of patchouli. Light smell of rose in the background. Very light peppery citrus scent to me. Sits very close to skin smell. While I can’t call it bad, definitely not worth price in my opinion. I would not even buy it at half price. Nothing about it tells me I need it my collection. Glad I only purchased a sample.

Have the signature bottle but what a stunning fragrance! So dark, sexy and amazing sillage. I am getting whiffs of the scent on my jacket a week after wearing the fragrance. Such a rich fragrance... smells of luxury. Love patchouli in fragrances but this is the best I've smelled. The fragrance stays true for hours and the ingredients are extremely high quality which is probably why the cost is on the higher side. Definitely getting the rose note too. You do not need to use a lot, a few sprays. Gets lots of compliments. Packaging is exquisite. Comes with a cleaning cloth!! Love my zero calorie cupcake ;)

I agree with those that say this smells like a musty spice cabinet. Even in the drydown, I get very little rose from this. I get mostly spices and a dry, dusty patchouli. The spiciness smells like cumin to me, although it's not listed in the note breakdown. I find this very unappealing and I'm rather afraid that the people around me are going to assume I haven't bathed in a few days...

This is a very strong spicy scent and all the exotic spices are recognized, however, after 60 minutes the scent is faint and you will have to carry the bottle with you to continue to spray on yourself. I do not like this scent at all because it is too strong and does not last but an hour.

Just a bit of advice... check the HOS website they always have a 50-60% certain scents. I got Benevolence, Nouez Moi, and Hauts Bijoux all half off. I know the main complaint is the price so ALWAYS check the website before going over to other sites, plus you’ll know it’s authentic 😊

This is nearly identical to Bottega Veneta EDP. I'm surprised BV hasn't sued for making such a close dupe! The two have the same note lists, but Nouez-Moi is less well blended and ridiculously much more expensive. The BV is a better crafted scent at a fraction of the price.

No like. It has this unpleasant leathery accord that just doesn't work in my opinion.
