Oh. My. Goodness. This is beautiful!! Just beautiful. But hear me out... In order to like this fragrance, you have to like Oud. Or at least, be well acquainted with it. It’s very much an Oud fragrance but the spicy-ness/sweetness and “fruity” undertones are d i v i n e ✨✨✨ And as for the other notes, they are only there to round out this blend. I was super hesitant to blind buy this so I purchased a sample and I am so pleased and quite hooked! I’ll have to wait for a sale from HoS and purchase this Dark Beauty because this is a beautiful Sweet-Tart(y) Fruity-Oud fragrance!! 🖤💚❤️

This scent is Very Unique. I get a very fruity vanilla type of scent that can be worn year-round. On my skin it opens up as a vanilla banana melon scent that projects massively. After the first hour or so it dries down to a smooth sandalwood and melon that just lingers in the air. I tested it for about 2 weeks and it's definitely one to own if you like fruity sweet fragrances. Wife uses it as well and it smells even better on her. Definitely purchase this one as it's not too many that's close to it. Similar scent would be citizen Jack Absolute.

This is a woodier and better blended version of Green Lover in my opinion. Might seem similar to MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver too but Lolita Lempicka is probably the closest one. I like it but as many other niche fragrances that try to improve upon a designer DNA, this will raise questions whether it's worth the money. To me, it does but you really have to like that scent profile... Not monstrous projection, this is more of a subtle, unisex woody, green vanillic scent. Love the bottle!!!

This fragrance has rare & interesting contrasts in development—from fresh & crisp to sweet & powdery to eventually medicinal & fruity—the notes don't really explain what you're smelling (It's all a construct anyway)...I admit I only like the part somewhere between the first two stages, but the novelty is worth admiring 👍🏼

Year around generic smelling scent to my nose. Very forgettable for me. I had very high hopes for this. I am in minority here and having a hard time understand what I might be missing here. I gave it a fare share of try but it failed me every time. Nothing special about it that I can point out. I am not going to give up on it and will give it more tries later. I will update my comment if things change for me.

I love shitting on this house - not because of their tacky bottles or the exorbitant prices - but mainly because they offer clones of other popular scents. Admittedly, I’ve not smelled the whole lineup for men - although I did have batman (awful), the aquatic one (not awful but I do not like it) and I own the contemporary, which...as much as I want to hate it, I actually find it very appealing. With my purchase of the contemporary I received a sample of this one - passion de l’amour. Understandably, I had tempered expectations. I knew that immediately when I sprayed it, I’d run through the scent catalogue in my brain to see which fragrance they’d ripped off this time around. First spray - ahh - “kalan”! Wait...wait... no. Kalan has a “mossy baccarat rouge” feel to it. Hmmm. That’s not it. Mancera black gold? No... After thinking about it for a while, I don’t think it’s a ripoff. I think it borrows so facets from other scents - but it’s not close enough to earn the “clone” tag. And actually...it’s pretty darn nice. To me, it smells very refined - formal - delicate and sensual. It has a slight oud-y tartness to it and is contrasted with a sweet, woody-floral backbone that almost smells like sugar dust. Ok, I made up the term sugar dust - but still, it’s a sweet dustiness. I’m honestly drawing a blank as to where I’d put this in terms of similarities. Maybe a sweeter, lighter version of mancera Saharan wind? Could be. Maybe a more masculine version of br540? Ehh..stretching. At any rate - as much as I’d love to waltz in and shit on this house again, I think this one is really well done. As I said before - it feels refined, smooth and balanced - and it feels like there was some thought put into the creation. Not ready to pull the trigger just yet, but as the weather cools, this could be a winner.
