Maple Woods Café

I have both the new and the original version of this and I have to say Baz has done a terrific job evolving it into something very smooth and sexy now. The first version had a much sharper coffee backbone, but the new one is a lot more balanced with a bit more booze and woods. What I get is a hint of maple syrup, a lovely airy coffee, some woods and cardamom, and a bit of booze. For me, it is for the cool weather or night time wear strictly but I live in a hot climate! For me it is a gourmand that is very wearable and perfect for those cold nights in or out!

I really dont get how this house manages to perfect such masterpiece gourmand scents this has such a huge wow factor to it, it smells so expensive but is soooo affordable. Picture yourself sipping a coffee you've ordered yourself pancakes and you can smell the warmth of the pancakes and the dry down on this is super smooth the best vanilla of all time!! and as with all the House Of Turkmen Fragrances this one lasts over 9 hours with ease!!!! beautiful

This fragrance is absolutely bewildering to me. It’s sexy, edible, sensual and makes me crave something sweet. This is a perfect pick up for gourmand lovers. If you like hot cakes or pancakes with dark woody base, this will be for you.

I wore 6 sprays of this to school once, not realising how strong it was. I walked into school 30 minutes after spraying it and within 30 seconds I hear someone say it smells really sweet around here. Keep in mind they are nowhere near me. I just thought that no way that's me she's so far away, but it indeed was. I kept hearing comments throughout the day, not directly to me, but just people saying that it smells really good and sweet, and others saying something smells so strong. I got comments directly to me too from my mates sitting next to me in classes. Throughout the day I wiped down my neck SEVEN times. It either did nothing or it was just that strong that even if I lessened the projection a bit it did little to stop it. After school I went to the gym at around 4pm (I sprayed at 8:15am, this is after wiping down 7 times) and I heard so many people comment about something smelling sweet. I got home at around 6:30pm and my brother made a comment about how I smelled. For the smell, it's as good as people say. The maple, coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, rum, its all so well blended. As many comments as there were, none of them were negative, it was simply just too strong. This was also on a cold day, no heat to increase projection. For anybody planning to get this, if your a gourmand lover, this is awesome. It's a sweet gourmand without being too in your face (as long as you don't do what I did). Just know to not underestimate the performance of this thing because it is fucking nuclear.
