Libertalia

Liberitalia was a finalist for the 2022 Art and Olfaction Independent Award created by Paul Kiler for The House Of Wanderers. If you are already familiar with Paul's creations you know that his fragrances are huge room fillers and this one is no exception! I'm going to give you a bit of insight on what I get from this fragrance. First and foremost if you love exotic smells and a good dose of honey than Liberitalia is your ultimate ticket to wonderland! The opening of honey is very prominent in this fragrance and it's beautifully balanced without being too sweet or soar. The exotic florals soon start to kick in with a slightly powdery accord that opens the fragrance to some really alluring spices and tobacco. I don't know what the notes are but in the drydown I definitely get a soothing coconut smell on my skin. It's a bit beachy but with the honey and exotic florals still detectable it's no suntan lotion coconut! I think this would be beautiful even in the cold season as the honey would feel like a real warm embrace to have on your skin. Whilst at the same time the beachy vibe accords will take you to an exotic location. Liberitalia is a treat to honey fans and it's one of the most interesting creations I have come across.It is a very elegant fragrance that can be worn for casual evenings to a formal wedding.
