Heliotrope

This is the most accurate mimicry of vanilla out there. All the others are too sweet (like cooking vanilla) or too musky (just ... why?). This is what we IMAGINE a delicate vanilla orchid to smell like. I disagree that it dries down to a powdery scent. I have an intense dislike for powder (smells like grandma) and I can detect none of it here. I mix this: Two parts "Hove Nude" with one part "Hove Heliotrope." Wonderful!

a beautiful spicy & floral vanilla. classic, versatile and long lasting. this can be worn any season, anytime. there is a real scent geography to this fragrance for me! it's not just the scent i adore, but how it transports me back to being in that beautiful little store in the quarter, in my favourite city on the planet. i'm glad i bought a few bottles and cannot wait to go back one day for more.

Like its name this is a heliotrope soliflore, huge silage, insane longevity. Very pretty probably the most girly thing in the Hove line.

This is a beautiful, straightforward floral vanilla. Very sweet, slightly almondy (sweet almond oil variety), floral touches on a base of vanilla. Great for layering. On me, this is linear - what I smell at the start remains the same throughout the wear.

Powdered, spicy heliotrope! Heliotrope is one of my fave notes and this doesn't disappoint. I get the powdery dry down, but it's also a bit spicy on me. I get no soapiness at all. I do agree that it veers on the edge of gourmand, but the spices keep it balanced. It's like an oversized cozy sweater! Really nice for fall, winter and cool spring days. Longevity was over 12 hours and sillage is amazing too. I have this and Mantrap and I'm pleased with both. I'm ready for explore more from Hove.

Obsessed with this family-owned perfume shop in New Orleans! It had such a unique, old-world feel, and the scents were nothing like mass-produced perfumes—they smelled real, almost natural in a way I can’t describe. I got Heliotrope, which is like the best vanilla ice cream ever but with a soft floral touch. Also loved learning about the history while I was there! I got the EDT and it lasts 8+ hours on my clothes and 5 on skin, pretty beast mode for an EDT.
