Boss Alive Collector Edition

for me, this perfume is the very definition of “cozy”. yummy, cinammon-y apple strudel backed by sweet, warm vanilla. perfectly uncomplicated winter scent. the more I wear it, the more I enjoy it.

Starts as fresh and sweet apple with lots of warming spices. It’s a nice gourmand with some fruity and cinnamon touches, but it’s also super sweet. It basically smells like a candied apple’s sugar coating, which it nice, delicious and comforting, but also can be a bit too much for some people. I believe it would be a good choice for wintertime. I've tried both the original on paper and this collector edition on paper and skin. The notes are supposed to be the same, but he main accords and the composition differ a bit. Less vanilla and more apple and cinnamon. In my experience this collector seems a bit brighter and lighter at the beginning, with the fresh apple and fruity notes, but slowly the spicy cinnamon, woodsy notes and a touch of vanilla make it deeper and more intense. A lot like the original, but not as intensely deep and vanilla sweet. The original turned too woody and masculine to my taste. Kept reminding me of some mens perfume maybe from HB or Paco. So eventhough the scent was nicely blended, I'll pass. I'll give this one a chance.... But it has to wait untill fall or winter. Too heavy for my nose in the heat.
