Boss Bottled Beyond

This was a love at first sniff for me. I was given several samples to use in the meantime. I absolutely love it. Contrary to what the 'reminds' are above, what I get, is the OG Boss Bottled mixed with a light touch of Ganymede/Greenley/Bois Imperial & Mancera Amberful. And a touch of light suede leather. Now, ***it doesn't really smell like any of those too closely***, *but* especially in the opening I am reminded of that 'style' in a subtle way. It isn't a 'bright' opening, but it is excellent. I wish I could articulate it better. It is like a 'leather freshie that can work even in cool weather'. This stuff is fantastic. Absolu and Elixir are dark, broody, cold weather masterpieces. This is a light, mineralic, gingery aromatic with a much more wearable approach. It wears light. After Boss Bottled Bold Citrus (which was a 'miss', in my book), I'm excited to get a full-size bottle of this as soon as it is released. Damn this is good. Like Castley meets Boss Bottled. Whatever. You get my point I hope. Still testing the performance....I don't expect it to be a monster, but I do expect it to do better than the last release... Edit/Update: Performance seems about average for me, 3 to 5 hours or so with about an hour of decent projection. Fine by me, this stuff smells great! Edit/Update: Picked up a big bottle at Macy's during 15% off days. I know it will be way cheaper at discounters very soon but I just couldn't wait! Damn I love this stuff! Edit/update: Went back and bought the biggest size bottle as a backup. I cannot stop wearing this one. Very satisfying.

This is not what I expected . But it leaves room to make a really really good le Parfum or elixir or whatever would be a stronger flanker . I wasn't expecting this to be as zingy as it is. You get a nice prominent fizzy but not very spiced ginger up top. Very clean . As the fragrance sits the leather slowly and smoothly comes up . The leather never dominates which is what I was expecting from this. It's just a carrier for the ginger until the woods come up. Even the woods are light. I can totally see how people are saying it smells like cleaner because of the ginger but it's not like what you get from a heavy citrus fragrance like Eros energy or issey miyake . It keeps that ginger note with clean leather until it fades away. You don't get that much woods in my opinion . This is a masculine very clean fragrance. I like it a lot . If a heavy leather version of this comes out it would be a huge banger . It is very versatile but I feel it is best suited for spring. I would wear this year round. It would make a really good office/work scent. Performance is about average. 5 hours with a normal 5 spray application. Light sillage and low projection. I really like this . It's subtle clean masculine well put together easy to wear versatile. Once this hits discounters I'll most likely get a big bottle . 8/10

This release is underrated. The opening hits you with a prominent ginger fizz akin to ginger ale - which last on my skin for 20-30 minutes. The leather note is one of the best leather notes I've worn - it's not sweaty or heavy leather that you'd get from TF ombré leather or similar fragrances. It is office/close encounters-friendly due to the transition from the freshness of the ginger into this leather note. I can confidently say that it's non-offensive leather similar to new car leather interior. This note last about 1.5hrs on my skin. The base notes is nice and creamy but not too cloying. It is not too woody but more like soft vanilla - just the right amount of sweetness IMO. The longevity of this base is 12hrs++. I can still smell it the next day but it's not hard to wash off when you shower. Sillage is about arm's length (4-6 sprays) or more if you overspray. I'm beginning to think that the people that rate this negatively are gatekeeping this fragrance. I recommend this fragrance for people looking to buy beginner-friendly leather fragrances as some leather fragrances can be too animalic or body odor-like. It is moderately versatile for any occasions except for high heat or humidity.

This is not the place to go get solid information on a fragrance. I've heard this site is also called Trollgrantica and now I know why. I've seen people here crap on a fragrance that hasn't been released or people give bad ratings for the performance. I have no problem with this fragrance. Most fresh scents generally last 4 to 6 hours. Instead of complaining of performance issues, why not carry a decant and reapply? I don't claim to have the best nose, somehow I pick up vetiver in the base. This reminds me of Grey Vetiver. I like this scent a lot. It definitely will be in my office fragrance rotation. I will be buying a backup bottle soon. To anyone looking for advice on a fragrance, DO NOT go by what you read here! TRUST YOUR NOSE! If you like a scent, test it on your skin and then make your assesment from there. Don't waste your time reading any silly comments here!

Boss Bottled Beyond is one of those fragrances that just works for me on any occasion. What I love most is how fresh and clean it smells from the first spray—it has an uplifting, ginger note, with a little leather in the background that feels effortless to wear, whether it’s during the day, at work, or on a night out (although absolu is best for a cooler night out imo). It’s versatile enough to be an everyday fragrance, but still has enough character to stand out from the others in my collection. The biggest plus for me is the longevity—it easily lasts all day without needing to reapply. Fresh, classy, and reliable—definitely a fragrance I keep reaching for. I don't understand why anyone compares this to elixir or absolute, they are completely different and for different scenarios in my opinion (both of which are amazing scents!l

I do not understand the rating on this one. Boss Bottled Beyond deserves better. This is modern masculine leather done right. It opens with that fresh spicy kick, settles into a rich leather and woody base, and stays coherent the whole time. No sharp turns, no awkward dry-down. Just a clean, confident progression that feels intentional from start to finish. I get 6 to 8 hours of solid wear. It is not a beast mode projector, but it carries well in an office setting without being that guy. Subtle enough for work, polished enough to turn heads when you pass by. If you are looking for something that smells expensive without announcing itself, this is it. The leather here is refined, not aggressive. It sits close and commands attention when it needs to. The Fragrantica community is sleeping on this one. Rate it what it actually is.

I managed to pick this fragrance up yesterday. When I first smelled it at the store I was instantly drawn to it. They had this and 1 bottle left of the absolu but didn't have a tester for it unfortunately otherwise I would've bought both lol. I wanted something versatile outside of my usual fragrances and something a little more deeper (if that's the right word) , this one checked all the boxes for what I was looking for in my personal opinion. The opening is extremely comforting and smooth, and the dry down it gets better and somewhat of a light smokiness to it. Everything blends together very nicely and not over powering. Watched a bunch of videos on it afterwards and get a lot of mixed reviews, but I personally love it and at the end of the day this fragrance will smell differently on different people and Miles will vary.

Super nice fragrance that has become my daily over the past few weeks. The balance between the fresher ginger and darker woody-leathery notes is perfect in my opinion, and I feel you could wear this just about any season day or night. Great scent for work too as I find it really inoffensive, and it isn’t gonna blow anybody’s nose off who’s working around you all day. The only thing I find myself wishing was slightly better was the longevity on my skin, but on clothes it will easily last ~8 hours. That being said, I feel you could also pretty safely overspray this some for a little better longevity without giving everyone around you a migraine. I’d say it’s a solid 8/10 and definitely a 9/10 if the performance was just a smidge better.

Simply put, Boss Bottled Beyond is another hit from Hugo Boss! I’m so happy the overly sweet, unisex trend is slowly turning and going back to truly masculine fragrances. I don’t care what anyone says... BB Beyond is 💯 masculine! I can see this being someone’s signature fragrance. This is an all season, any occasion wear. It lasts 6-8 hours, with strong to moderate projection in the first few hours; for the remaining duration, a nice scent bubble around you. Anyone near will definitely pick it up; also, Beyond will garner favourable attention. For me, this is a win and a perfect addition to my ever growing collection. I’ll definitely be picking up a few backup bottles, as this one will be getting a lot of rotation. Cheers! 11/10

i went to macys and this lady pressured me into buying this lol. the opening kinda put me off, it had a metal smell to it and i thought "oh no i just wasted a hundred dollars," but it really grew on me. the three notes sum it up. It really just smells like leather and ginger. It also lasts a while on me, ive gotten compliments HOURS after putting this on. I definitely dont think its for everyone, but try it out. this is one of my favorite fragrances ever (although, my collection is very small rn) and probably even my signature. i feel like it really matches my look. id also say its pretty unique, ive never smelt this on anybody. not a compliment beast, but ive had people say i smell nice.

I tested a sample of this before looking up the notes, and I’m honestly a bit dumbfounded. I don’t get any leather at all, and the note breakdown is quite different from what I expected. In the opening, I picked up fresh citrus and pepper mixed with some kind of fruitiness, which I now realize is ginger. The dry down, to me, smells woody but with a bubblegum like sweetness. I enjoy the smell, but seeing leather on the list confuses me, and I don’t understand why I’m getting this bubblegum sweetness that I haven’t seen mentioned by others. Putting my confusion aside this is a great daily fragrance that works all year round.

I did not like it when I first smelled it. Even when I did it few more times later on. But for some reason I kept sniffing it from time to time. And one day I started to love it. It was instant. It might be result of mere exposure. I simply started to enjoy that creamy ginger. Oficially there is no such note but I can smell green apple under that ginger. That is what I like too. Plus you can wear lit anytime which is perfect. Out of all frags I smelled this one is quite unique. Look at "This perfume reminds me of section"... there's no voted similar to this one... it's rare.

I bought the cofret and its so worth it, even more for the price of 80 euros. Its a beautiful masculine fragance that can work in any weather and any Season. Super mass appealing. This fragance just suites my nose. I think people just dont understand how this fragance is so versatile and also super masculine. My only issue is the performance, that could be just a little better, but I think its still worth it after that. This fragance is overhated because it simply delivers without much dept, and people want to have uniqueness, but I dont really care.

ive only tried it in the mall but i thought it smelled lovely like honestly the pinnacle of a go to men’s fragrance especially for summer idk why summer has such a low mark maybe because of the leather i honestly didnt get really get to that much but that opening ginger note is stupid good although i definitely smelled the drydown yeah sure leather but that lingering fresh sweetness from the opening is fresh as shit and stays around too so as a person who lives where its hot 10/10 designer summer or all year all day anything anywhere fragrance

This is one of my fiancés favorite fragrances I have wore. This is a very clean, smooth, leathery product done very well in my opinion. This stays on my clothes for a long time (which I like) and I usually get about 7-8 hours on skin. It’s not an overpowering leather smell, and does smell clean to me. I seem to like ginger notes in fragrances and a leather that’s not overpowering. It’s masculine and very pleasing. If you’re looking for a leather and unsure if leather is your thing or not - I feel like this would be a great option.

The fresh leather note is really surprising because when you see leather in a fragrance you automatically assume a very dark heavy leather but this is more fresh because of the ginger. It’s a perfectly balanced fragrance. I absolutely love this one and I cannot wait to gift my man a bottle. It’s a perfect everyday scent that smells clean but intoxicating at the same time. Like what I would want sweat to smell like. There’s something really sexy about it. The ginger definitely brightens it and gives it that burst of energy.

Woody like a log cabin in the woods. Dry and woody. It manages to blend the initial freshness with a beautiful masculine and woody depth. The animalic side projects me into hunting a deer, and then sitting by a roaring fire in the woods to eat outside the cabin, warming myself with a leather jacket over my shoulders. Incredibly suitable for both cool and warm climates. It opens fresh and fruity, becomes animalic and spicy in the heart, and finishes softer and woody with a sweet touch Personally, I like Boss.

This is a lovely scent. Fresh, Slight leathery woodsy. Definitely work and school friendly. It does have a mass appealing scent. I'm not a big fan of strong leather or wood scent. The scent profiles I enjoy most in fragrances are fresh and clean and fruity/ florals like Imagination or Valentino Born In Roma Intense and this fragrance here is right there where my nose is not offended by anything overly leather or wood. The ginger really make all the difference here. Definitely enjoy this

I went to the store to test this fragrance and the bottled absolu version and left the store. The way the fragrance settled made me go back to the store and buy it. It reminds me of a grown up smell from my childhood days that I loved . It's also not as offensive to my nose as the absolu which like the swy line makes me kinda nauseous. One of my better buys especially for office wear. I spray my chest and shirt one time each and I just catch whiffs while working all throughout the day.

I read the reviews and watched the “influencers” and I immediately assumed I would hate this one. Sprayed it on in the store and kinda loved it so I bought it. Maybe it’s not the the best release of 2025 and definitely not the best Hugo Boss but as far as spraying something on that smells nice and has a unique vibe to it then this one has become my go to. By the way, I agree with the person that said they don’t detect any leather in this one. I don’t smell that either.

Initial opening reminds me of YSL Y edp but then fade into this really aldehyde, sparkling playdoh-ish smells. Really nice cedar in here, it is not too sweet and not too bitter, it will not be cloying if you wears this in the heat. Longevity for me is around 5-6 hours but sits pretty close to the skin. I don't suggest you to overspray this since it can be really nauseating with the sparkling leather. Love this and would definitely purchase again for the right price.

Fell in love with it after a couple wearings. Wow. Incredible juice. Refreshing to have a release that's not overly challenging or super sweet and feminine which seems to see the trend these days. This is a masculine, everyday signature scent done to near perfection. Edit: this stuff has great performance. Got a compliment 5hours after 3 sprays - the guy asked me what I was wearing he was all least 6 ft away.

Used it for about a week now and have to say it is a really good perfume. Top notes of a light ginger and spicy notes and drys down to a light leather, woody base, that isn't overwhelming. I easily got 10+ hours on this so it is long lasting. It doesn't project as much as Bottled absolu. The price point is a bit higher compared to other designer fragrances but it is definitely worth it. Easily a 9/10 for me.

Halfway through first bottle already, so just ordered yet another bottle. The big jug 200ml. It is so damn good and it is an all year around scent. If you like me dont want to project beastmode, then this could be for you. It is parfum concentration, but it is skinclose once it dries down. The opening is totally glorious, and eventhough I really love its controlled drydown and more skinclose phase.

Everything in a bottle. Fresh, sparkling, masculine, smooth leather, spicy woody, hint of sweetness, modern. Lasts decent, projects decent. Unique enough to buy, yet mass pleasing enough to be used. There is no circumstance it’s inappropriate. It’s gorgeous and a bit forgettable at the same time. However it’s one of my secret favourites and super underrated. Just hits my nose the right way.

I know this one has been hated on a bit after bangers like Absolu and Elixir, but this one is solid. This is a great office safe masculine scent. The ginger and leather come out strong and then during the drydown you get those woody notes. It projects well. It’s not Absolu but it definitely gets the job done, and it lasts! Don’t sleep on it.

A very masculine, professional, office fragrance. Not very complex but it gives off boss vibes without being heavy and offensive. I could see myself picking a bottle of this up but I would still say Absolu is a better fragrance however it struggles from being a winter/fall fragrance where beyond is an all year fragrance 7.8/10

If you actually smell it in the opening, it’s pretty similar to the edt. Maybe it’s because it’s the sweet ginger that kind of 60% replicates the smell of red apple, besides that it’s a very nice scent and very masculine with the strong woody base helping with the overall performance of the TRIPPLE B (Boss Bottled Beyond)

People have been far too quick to judge this classy, masculine, extremely versatile, signature worthy scent. Comparing it to Bottled Elixir and Absolu doesn’t make any sense. This is a new direction and I’m absolutely loving it. Very intrigued to see what’s next in the Boss Bottled Beyond line.. 8/10

i absolutely love this. i would love to smell it on other people. i would love to smell it on myself. it smells soooo confident and definitely doesn't give car seat leather at all. this is that really hot person that you always catch glimpses of in the back of your eye at the indie craft beer bar.

I really like this release. You can smell the original Boss Bottled DNA but its engulfed with a darker spicy and woody smell that makes it more masculine, more mature than the original. In my opinion its pleasant and non offensive and everyone that likes the original should give this one a try.

Sooo underrated. Definitely masculine, can be worn any time. Has a feel of confidence within the scent. Performance could be better at this price point, but then you risk suitability for work environments. Lovely smell though, prefer this to all the other Boss fragrances.

This stuff is absolutely incredible. Just bought two more bottles. Any time, any weather, formal or casual. Legit versatility. Best Boss release since Boss Bottled Intense. (I love Absolu and Elixir, but they aren't versatile at all. Good, but specific good)

Has a little bit of a clove smell. Citrus undertone, with warm spicy clove, ginger, vanilla, woody suede. Easy 8/10, good performance and sillage. Best for fall and spring. Good for winter, summer if its 75 or lower. My first Boss cologne and it's very good!

I smelled this in Dillards yesterday When I smelled this i instantly thought of a guy with a fresh haircut who’s got his life together he also has a nice car with leather seats. Masculine ginger-leather combo with some spice sweetness and woods 10/10

I went to buy for my boyfriend another BOSS (Absolu I guess) perfume, but when i smell this one, it blow my mind. I 10000%% RECOMMEND this perfume. It's smells very good and long lasting. Tbh, the ginger isn't that present. I could not feel it =

A burst of fresh and masculine (but not overly so) fragrance that is spiced and clean at the same time, makes sense? Well i cant make sense of it either, but its harmonious. I do feel the longevity is a bit short. That, or I’ve gone noseblind.

This deserves a much higher rating. Still too many comparing this versatile beauty to heavy winter bangers like Boss Bottled Absolu - this should not be voted down for that. It’s a love from me. A dumb reach, signature, all year round 8.5/10

This is a good perfume for work and school. Very mass appealing and I believe would be even safe for those who have issues with quite strong perfumes. Boring but it's good..I like how the ginger kicks in giving it a fresh vibes.

Fragrance reviews are kind of useless tbh. Scents depend on personal taste and how they react with your own skin. A perfume can smell amazing on one person and terrible on another, so the only real way is to test it yourself.

Smells better on skin than clothes. Has a woody metallic scent on my skin that I can't get enough of. I never buy Boss but this one is already in my collection. Will be putting a big dent in it in the coming cold months.

Have a sample but will definitely be buying a 'full size', amazingly simple and crowd favorite. Inoffensive and INSIDE or cloudy summer daily driver, not that it preforms bad outside but may be offensive in hot weather.

Hugo Boss have made the most consistently successful fragrances over the last 4 years so when they release something, I pay attention. Based on their past success making masculine fragrances, this one should be good.

This deserves more praise honestly. A really well blended fresh-masculine fragrance. Performs like a classic designer with a bit of depth and class. Opening smells like Le Sel D’Issey. Pleasant and inoffensive.

This fragrance is phenomenal. Many forget that beauty lies in simplicity and sophistication—and Beyond showcases just that. A fragrance with class and character. Those who criticize it are simply ignorant.

I have seen much advertisement for this fragrance. I wasn’t expecting much from it. Seeing vini and perfume in the same pic didn’t fit right. But i was surprised, this is simply incredible and nice. ☺️

This is my kind of leather scent - it’s not too strong. A lot of leather notes don’t sit well with me or my husband, this one is subtle and blended well. Looking for a full bottle for his collection,

that ginger and leather combo on my skin smells divine! opening so fresh and bright , then following a soapy drydown .... ideal for spraying on morning after shower before commuting to work

This is simpler than Bosses previous releases, but ive grown to love it, it has a very masculine edge to it and the leather and ginger make a very compelling dna together
