Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme Florale

To me, Floral is the best in the Ma Vie Boss line up. While the others ring generic, Floral is quite unique. I suspect it`s the Boss take on cactus flower. Just green enough to make it juicy but not overly sweet or annoyingly fruity. Floral carries a mild starchy play-dough-esque heart which rounds out the scent beautifully. After a five minute dry down stays a very true crave worthy,linear scent. I enjoy moderate silage for the first few hours coupled with monster 12hr plus longevity. I am a niche perfume addict but find myself reaching for this reasonably priced scent often.

It is wonderful, the most beautiful of the Ma Vie range. Smells exactly like I am drinking a glass of freshly grapefruit squeezed juice under a brightly pink blossome tree right when the codness of March is warming up at the beginning of April. The longevity is a bit lacking but I have found that it is decent when more generously applied. I really love it.

I am adding a pragmatic review because no one else did - and want to help people out there to figure out what's the deal with this fragrance. =) I have just bought a 50ml bottle of Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme Florale, without reading anything solid about it. This was a passion buy triggered by the fact that the opening is DIVINE. This is a really clean floral, but it is definitely not migraine-inducingly fresh. Very airy and pretty but also a little fruity. Looking at the notes, I see pieces I don't really agree with in my favorite fragrances (sandalwood, amber, cedar?) and it makes me think that this is not for me who is a fruity-floral devout. But somehow this fragrance worked very very well for my taste. After the pretty floral opening it turns a bit oriental in the way that it starts giving out a cold tea note when it settles. It reminds me of Avon's Be Sensual, minus the musk. It stays on for very long actually, managed to cling onto my skin for a full work day from 9 to 7 and maybe longer. HOWEVER, its silage is basically close to nothing. Which is fine if you want to entertain yourself and not necessarily your whole office with your fragrance - that is why I don't regret the money I put in it. If it had bad longevity, then I would be frustrated. Overall a nice fragrance which you really need to try before buying as the combination of the notes seen above might be giving you a different idea than what the fragrance actually smells like - and also due to the fact that the opening which lasts only around 10 minutes is very different than what you will be carrying on for the rest of the day.

11/14/19 - At first application to my skin, it smelled exactly like mosquito repellent. It took everything in me to be patient and let it settle. I’m so glad I took a deep breath and let this bloom. I don’t get any grapefruit at all (previous reviewer). I live in the Sonoran desert and, when the cacti start to bloom, they do smell like this! So that’s spot-on and so enjoyable. It mixes beautifully with the rose and jasmine. I also get a relaxing creamy note - I don’t know what “cedarwood” smells like but maybe this is it. This the opposite of a floral-fruity teen bomb. This is sophisticated without being matronly (i.e. “old lady smell”). When I smell it, I think of a woman who’s found her peace and confidence - no drama. Just quiet serenity, like the sinking sun sharing its terracotta reds, pinks, and purples of a desert sunset as the cool breezes get their turn 🥰

So I purchased this because I love it and it’s perfect for the warmer weather which is approaching us! As I was sniffing my wrist today I realized that it reminded me of two perfumes!!! See by Chloe and Eternity NOW by Calvin Klein! It’s literally a hybrid of those two. When I came on here to check I see that others have listed those two as similar smelling so I knew I was on to something! Smells divine so if you like either of those you will love this!

This one is really nice classical day fragrance you may wear every day and it isn ́t too dominating but rather classical feminine fragrance. I like it although it is nothing you would miss after you would finish the bottle.

A light and quite nice clean floral scent. Mostly without sweetness. It's good, but reminds me of some deodorant or shower gel scent. It's just so typical somehow. Ordinary, but wearable.

Floral notes are more noticeable than in the original, but Boss Ma Vie L'Eau better suits to be called Florale.

The first hour reminds me of a bathroom cleaner or air freshener. It is nice though, very fresh, green, floral, clean. After it turns into beautiful light flowery scent that I love. BUT when I sniff closer to the skin, i detect chlorine... what a pitty

I (wrongly) assumed this would be a more floral version of Ma Vie L'eau, but this one is just an in your face full blast of amber from start to finish. Definitely not for me. Had to scrub it off asap, before it triggered a migraine.

On initial spray I get a beautiful soft floral scent. It’s youthful and very feminine. I immediately put it on my want list and searched for it online. It loses its appeal after twenty minutes. It becomes even softer than it initially was. Well, it’s been about an hour and a half since I sprayed it and I detect nothing. I’m removing from my want list. I want something that’s gonna last longer and want that beautiful initial scent to stick.

Much more floral smelling than the original, so the name is spot on. The dry down is very Cedar and woody, and the amber gives it a small amount of warmth. Its not a bad fragrance but I much prefer the original and purchased this on accident. Its hard to differentiate the flankers but this one has roses printed in a darker blush pink on the box so I should have realized.

This is a fresh, zesty, soft and feminine fragrance. It smells clean and it has a light sweetness. It is similar to the original, but this one is more casual and vibrant. I still prefer the original, but this one is good too. Test it if you're looking for a classic spring floral, or if you're simply looking for something elegant and crisp without citrus fruits.
