Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme Intense

What this perfume smells like: A beautiful lady with brain! Someone who is a grown yet, young woman, has a great job, knows how to dress, is very feminine, but not too soft, not too loud, JUST RIGHT. She is sexy in a very delicate & subtle way. She is open-minded but also has this gentle mystery about her. And most important thing is, she is ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE. Like the cactus blossom. Beautiful, subtly interesting & really unique. I promise you when you have this on, you'd definitely feel pretty AND smart, I don't know how or why, but you'll definitely feel like that. It's modern and still reserved at the same time, it's soft & sensual yet still independent without screaming out loud like HEY LOOK AT ME I'M SO STRONG like some other perfumes. It takes that special kind of woman to really feel & appreciate the beauty of this perfume. Longevity: Quite good actually, about 5-6 hours. After that you can still smell it if you sniff closely on the skin. It doesn't just "disappear". It's very natural on my skin too. Really funny how the notes are "simple" but the formula makes it very intriguing. :) LOVE. p/s Just for your reference, I like Woody, musk, coffee notes, powdery & floral scents. My most used bottle is YSL Black Opium (lol yes I love it). Other than than I LOVE this Ma vie one and I really like the Aqua di Gio as well. If you're into something unique and beautiful, you can go ahead and blind buy. But if you're not into "unique" scent, I suggest please go and try. Because this one is really different. It's not like a shocking different, just... unique. So I hope you'll find the beauty in this like I did :) Happy shopping!

I had no idea how cactus flower smells like, but after testing Ma Vie fragrances I can tell I love it. I bought the Intense version. It's very soft, elegant and feminine, but not really intense. The notes blend well, creating a classy scent you can wear anywhere. I've become cautious of cedar note and rose - sometimes, in some fragrances they don't smell right to me. Ma Vie Intense brings out the best of these notes, they all blend well together. Unfortunately the longevity is not what I expected from a Hugo Boss scent.. This fragrance is very refined and ladylike, without being heavy or powdery. Very modern, yet classy.

I love that scent! It's such a pleasant, classy and elegant perfume. Not overwhelming at all, although with great longevity and just right sillage. Very office friendly. It's all year around appropriate, but I mostly wear it during the fall and spring as I prefere lighter scents for summer and sweeter for winter.

This is one of my favourite scents of all time. It's amazing, for both day and night. It lasts really long on my skin and it reminds me of another favourite of mine: Bebe by Bebe. It's a very unique scent to me, powdery and woody at the same time. I have to have this in my collections all the time.

The dry down is lovely with this perfume. Not my usual but I think I will buy this one.

Think I like it a little bit! Better than the original EDP. I don't know how this cactus flower smells, but this perfume smells like a mild rose scent to me. Not bad, it's very easy to smell, I believe it would be nice to wear it. It has a spring scent to it and I love that!

Not so intense. In fact, it's a soft scent, only with heavy floral top notes. After a while, it's really gentle, fresh, nice. Safe choice for work.

i got a sample of this in vial. ive never smelled any perfume that opens up in cactus flower before, so upon putting this on my skin, i felt like i was surrounded by flowers all around me, out in the open field.. breezy..fresh scent.. with this scent i saw a young girl with long blonde hair walking in the sea of flowers alone, in her white dress, without a care in this world. this is my first time experiencing the notes of cactus flower, and surprised that it smells this amazing. i probably have to get 30ml for 'trial and error' phase. edited: ~ turned out im only in love with the topnote but the base note irks me.~ lucky i got to try the sample. not buying in full bottle.

Ma Vie Intense has a slightly woody, slightly bitter and extremely green cactus flower note, which is very strong and dominant through the wear time. It gives almost bitter aquatic vibes, something unisex, citrus peel alike (basic aftershave/cologne almost, but not in a bad way). Rose kicks in soon, but it has zero sweetness. Scent remains very green. Rose just adds some warmth and more dimensions bringing out the floral capacity of cactus flower. It's all balanced out with soft cedar note, there are almost sweet boozy and soft spicy nuances and creaminess in the drydown. Decent wear time up to nine hours with moderate sillage. Also I find it versatile occasion wise (well, it's not clubbing fragrance - it is Boss after all). It is better performing in spring and summer as base notes are so tender they have to warm up to be sensed; also overall green vibe suits this time of the year better. Ma Vie Intense is rather unique (cactus flower note is similar to the original Ma Vie, however in intense version it is lasting through the all wear time). Really nice creation.

Instead of the generic sweet mandarin and floral rose of the original, this intense version is generic mandarin OIL and rose. Smoother. That's the only difference I'd identify within the generic makeup. Why would a woman(or a girl) want to smell like this? It may well be 'nice and pleasant'... but I'd never associate a scent like this with a strong independent personality... and if this sort of scent is referred to as 'unique'? I suppose my overall dissatisfaction is because of this 'unique' factor that everyone is throwing around given that I've NEVER smelled this and thought it recognisable. Soz.

This is the first hugo boss scent that's sadly not for me. i absolutely adore xhugox and essence d femme. but this one, not so much. it started off quite strong(one spray on my wrist)and lingered and became cloying for me. what a disappointment, i'm not blaming the perfume, its my body chemistry obviously.i could not smell any rose/floral. i can detect a mild almost masculine smell that i'm not really fond of. so glad i only bought the 50 ml size. a blind buy that i regret. will wrap this as a Christmas present instead.

This perfume is unfortunately very simple and predictable. However, based on the comments below, for some it might be "fortunately". Yes, indeed, it's extremely wearable and appropriate for work, but on the other hand it lacks character and some spark (or perhaps, a certain note or complexity) that would make it stand out. Just a very generic light floral, rather fresh typical Hugo Boss scent, and as someone below mentioned, easy to find at least 10 similar scents for half the price.

What a subtle, unique, beautiful scent! I have already Hugo Boss Ma Vie, but this Intense version is even better! I love how the sleek and elegant flacon with its crystal lid gives a touch of modernity. But the STAR is really its SCENT, featuring a feminine, unique and delicate Cactus Flower and flowers accords. The fragrance eventually develops into a base of warm but light woods which brings a mysterious edge to this scent at the end. GORGEOUS!

Lovely lovely fragrance. When you find it (at airports duty free likely) go and grab it. So youthful, fresh and feminine. Much better than the original EdP. The notes are deeper and they appear exactly as described: cactus blossom, roses and woody scents of cedar. It's soft and turns smoother whilst wearing. Easy to wear on any occasion.
