Boss The Scent for Her Eau de Parfum Intense

I was first scared to try that one, and first impressions out of strip from a store did not do it a favour. Because the scent was barely perceptible, a quite one. Fortunately i asked for a sample, and big revelation. As someone who despises coffee in a fragrance as a note, just know don’t be repulsed, give it a try i beg you : apart from the opening where you could notice that coffee, it’s overall absolutely different from the kind of Black Opium where it is proeminent. Instead, it ressembles much to Good Girl Jasmine Absolute for way cheaper : a coffee bean dropped within a caramel/toffee cream surrounded by white flower (jasmine like). You won’t notice the usual bitter & harsh coffee AT all in the dry down. The performance is better after the initial opening that seems shy. I genuinely think this is the best women’s release from hugo boss and « scent line » : it looked to me like the brand was focusing and making more efforts on releasing higher quality -bangers for men, than women’s one. But here, they definitely hit the jackpot!

I really like this! It’s true to the colour of the juice, it’s golden! I don’t think I will buy it because it feels very specific. It’s not a signature for me, maybe only in the wintertime. It’s roasted coffee with florals and a little bit sweet. It’s beautiful but not in a everyday way if that makes sense. It’s also kind of unisex in my opinion. Would’nt hate this on a man! It’s also not as massappealing I think but I kind of love it. The sent for her ELIXIR is my all time fave, so Hugo Boss has been rocking my world lately! 👏🏼

I got a couple of 1,5ml vials of this in scent sample pack, even though this is fragrance for ladies, i wanted to try it and omg! Am i glad i did! I think it's very deep, dark, sensual and mysterious, with great amount of masculinity coming from the fullness and depth of the coffee scent. I absolutelu love to wear this as a man, and i'm considering to purchase a full sized flask. PS. I want to say hello to the community, and thank you for insights, that have helped me a lot to better understand the world of fragrances.

Big love for this scent for its uniqueness and longevity. The opening was punchy yet comforting, because of the coffee. Then it settled into a cloud of coffee and creamy florals, which stayed around for a solid 3-4 hours. And for the next 4-5 hours, I could still get a whiff of the coffee from time to time, along with a subtle amber-sweetness. I think this scent is an acquired taste, but it is my favourite in the line.

I finally nailed it, tried so hard to remember where this exact dna came from, something I love in my collection and....this is spot on jean Paul gaultiers Classique Essence!!!! 😍😍😍Not at all the same notes listed but I swear it’s the same dna! Thick syrupy sexy and crazy elegant in a insanely good way! Wish that Hugo Boss would announce that they were inspired by JPG Classique Essence though 🤣😅

To me this is what the pyramid looks like : • Top notes : Coffee + Caramel + orange blossom • Middle notes : Caramel + Toffee + jasmine • Base note : Vanilla + Amber + Toffee

Can't place any particular notes onto this, but I know the coffee is not as pronounced as this page suggests. Enticing and lovely - could even wear this as a guy.

Testing Boss The Scent from a 1.2 ml Hugo Boss official sample. The opening is absolutely gorgeous, for about a minute is the most perfect combination of sparkling, zesty bergamot with the most photorealistic orange blossom scent. But sadly that magical opening dissipates quickly into a more generic orange blossom combined with bitter, black coffee beans. Which is nice, it’s a nice, sweet floral perfume, but it’s nothing special. On my skin, the coffee it’s not super noticeable, so to me, Boss The Scent Intense is mainly a floral, citrusy perfume, than a coffee one. I like it but it’s nothing special in my opinion to justify adding a bottle to my large collection, so I will pass on this. I will revisit my sample, but first impressions are not the most favourable. It’s a very mass appealing scent, but I have so many similar white florals/citrusy scents and several amazing coffee focused perfumes that I just don’t need this! Update: 2-3 hours later in wearing this, it turned really warm, ambery, cinnamon like in the dry down on my skin, which is very unexpected, since there’s no mention of any of these notes in the perfume’s structure. At this stage it’s even more common/less interesting than in the mid development. Definitely pass.

The composition is quite simple, but well done. The opening smells as if someone right next to you has just cut into a fresh, juicy orange, it’s bright, fruity and very appetising. This impression only lasts for a moment, because white florals appear almost immediately. I could swear I detect a hint of jasmine, although it isn’t listed in the official notes. The intoxicating bouquet of flowers is enhanced by a coffee accord, which in a way reminds me a little of the vibe of Black Opium. Sweet, sensual, slightly intoxicating and very feminine. On my skin it lasts around 6 hours, with quite decent projection.

This reminds me of my much loved lataffa khamrah qahwa perfume (one of my top autumn-winter scents!) This is slightly more floral which I surprisingly enjoyed but still much prefer the rich gourmand vibe of qahwa! Its decent and has great longevity. A safe blind buy. 3.5/5

Apparently, coffee blossom tend to smell really sweet and honey-like. I didn’t know that before I tried this perfume, but oh God, it’s SO sweet?! Since I don’t find the OG or other flankers especially sweet, it chocked me that this is almost cloying (to me, who doesn’t love gourmands). Anyways, this smells like if you would have a plate full of orange blossom, then you drizzle a lot of honey onto it, add a splash of rum, and finally, put some coffee powder on top. It’s sweet, golden, deep, sensual, a bit boozy (is there supposed to be peach listed in the notes?), and has this dry, roasted base. Definitely a night time scent if you ask me.

When I first smelled this I thought for sure coconut would be one of the notes but turns out there are no coconut?! Otherwise very strong scent that last a long time. Also quite sweet that I thought it was womens perfume. So this can be appropriate to be worn by anyone. For me however, too much "coconut" smell.

It's soo boring meh and flat. The older "Absolute" flanker was magical, deep and sensual and spadlý, it was discontinued... too bad, it's disappointing for me

It’s so sweet it will give you headaches

Found a small sample of this laying around at my workplace and said fuck it why not... as I sprayed it on my arm, without even looking at the notes or gender. Lemme tell you.. as a guy, I adore this. I could see rocking this myself with confidence, and it could be truly unisex. Imagine mancera's amore caffe without the cloying sweetness and boozyness, elevated with a dash of bergamot and subtle florals making for a unique and captivating gourmand and easier to wear overall without offending anybody. As for versatility could be worn all year except hot summer days.

This is an example of a felicitous composition that only has few components. Orange blossoms create a vintage feeling and are complemented marvelously by a modern and energetic coffee accord with a touch of coffee blossoms. No complex twists, just a clear interplay of elegant straightforward notes, totally styled after Hugo Boss fashion. This fragrance can be your perfect accompaniment for work. IG: perfumepassione

(Zadig & Voltaire - Zadig EDP)+(Caroline Herrera-Good Girl Jasmin Absolute) = This One But I prefer this one over good girl jasmin absolute, because the toffee note in good girl absolute is too harsh and disturbing for me Very creamy and strong too
