Boss The Scent Le Parfum for Him Le Parfum

This fragrance is the BOMB! ABSOLUTE BOMB! When u first spray this, u will be welcomed with a warm and very sweet scent. Almost like a big, warm hug. Very seductive, dense, and bold. It's the sort of smell that excites u but calms u down. Once it dries down, the leather is prominent and pungent. So if I were to describe this, it will be sweet (only in the opening though), tart, smoky, and leathery. Although I have to say this is a very strong fragrance. If u spray it more than three times, it will probably choke u out. So go easy when applying this. And also, I don't think I have ever smelt a fragrance like this, so it will really stand out. Regarding the performance, this has an EXTREMELY beast mode longevity. I wore this at night and by morning and almost noon, it's still there. So probably about 12+ hours of longevity. But the sillage of this is pretty moderate. It doesn't leave a strong trail, but I don't think it has to be. It gives off a very close-encounter vibe to it. It's quite playful and young, probably because of the Maninka, it leaves off a fruity sort of tart smell. This doesn't make u smell like an old man. Unlike the original The Scent, this smells sophisticated, unique, and expensive. Overall, 9.5/10. u are obliged to buy this for a date-night, or late-night out occasion. :D

There are some fragrances that just light up when they hit your skin. This is one of those. Now, I’ve tried the EDT version of this and wasn’t that blown away. It’s not bad, but not what I’d pay the $110 aud price tag for. Secondly, my skin has never taken that well to HB scents, apart from the original Boss In Motion (orange ball). I’ve owned a handful over the years (mostly presents from the wife) and they’d last 3-4 hours. My skin chemistry and HB don’t get on, so I’ve avoided them for years. Then I read a review on The Scent, tried it, and that was another brief affair. Like I said, not bad. Not setting the world alight. A few days ago, I was waking through Myer when one of the reps asked if I’d tried The Scent. After explaining my lack of love for HB, she recommended I have a spray of Le Parfum. Sold. Instantly. What a fantastic scent. The maninka, woods and ginger bounce off my skin and combine beautifully for a good 2-3 hours. Arm’s length on 2-3 sprays. Moderate projection, but this stuff somehow lasts on me. Sprayed yesterday evening again around 9:30. Woke up at 5 and I’m still feeling it. Bloody wonderful. For the second time ever, I’ve found a Boss scent that loves me. I’m in a happy place. 👌🏻

The Scent Le Parfum by Hugo Boss is a powdery, semi-sweet, woody fragrance. The opening of The Scent Le Parfum is fruity and spicy, it also has a slightly creamy and powdery feel. It has the DNA of the entire The Scent line but in this version it has seemed to me with less presence of the maninka characteristic, but it is still present and in turn increases the aroma of ginger plus the addition of the iris note, while the other Parfum version had Orris. Those elements make it different enough to acquire value by itself. The base is woody with a light leather note, while in the black bottle version it was more noticeable. The smell of this fragrance is very appealing, and I think it is a very good alternative to fragrances like Givenchy's Gentleman line, especially the EDP. I would use it in special situations, such as parties or romantic outings as a couple. As it has some warm notes, it seems ideal for use during the fall and/or winter. Its longevity was more than 8 hours. and the sillage was noticeable the first two hours. I have the Parfum Edition version which I love, and I wanted to try this new version just to see if they were the same fragrance, but actually they are different enough to have both.

What a sweet and sexy scent! It’s fruity, sweet, and sexy, wrapped in a touch of luxury. The Maninka note stays with you the whole way through, bringing a really fun, exotic tropical vibe to the table. Ginger and iris are subtle here, but they do a fantastic job cutting through the sweetness. They turn the Maninka fruitiness into a creamy, sexy sourness that is honestly addictive. The iris also brings a smooth, buttery texture, giving the whole blend a more velvety, expensive feel—just like a crystal-clear Maninka candy with a rich cream center. Performance is great. It wafts around you effortlessly even outdoors, and post-shower, it leaves an incredibly cozy woody scent on your skin. Just wonder if they make a shower gel for The Scent Le Parfum. Because if they do, I am 100% bathing my dog in it just so I can cuddle him and sniff him all day long!!! Perfect!!!

I found a 50ml bottle of this for under $40 at a local discounter and bought it blindly because I already own and really like the Scent Elixir. This one is also super likeable and presents a more fresh invigorating take on the same DNA. The Scent le Parfum goes on sweet, with lots of lively iris and a prominent fruity note thanks to the maninka and a touch of zing from the ginger. The orris adds a bit of lipstick scent and it works well. With time some subtle woods and an even subtler leather work their way in, leaving you with a sweet playful fruity scent with warmth and depth. It's unique and definitely worth checking out if you're not familiar with the Scent line. Where the Scent Elixir is richer and darker due to the pimento, making it better for cooler weather, this is a great all season fragrance. Really enjoying this one.

A smooth iris that is blended to perfection. It isnt strong and it does sit in the background but you can smell it mixng with the leather and woods whenever you move. I get this la nuit lintense vibe that last quite some time. After it settles, in the drydown, it is more refined absolute. Le parfum is absolute with smooth leather and iris added. Not so much on the fruity side. For me, this one is best in line as it is doing exactly what code pardum is doing to the line. It is taking that the scent dna and ads leather and iris. Lasts a long time, easily 8+ hours and fills up a room. 5 sprays and everyone will be wow what are you wearing. It is strong but blended so well that it will not bother anyone even if it punches them in the face. One of the rare such strong frags that no one will be offended if you apply too much.

Wow! That iris kicks it to another level. This whole line is incredible as I love them all pretty much, I own all in large bottles and can never get enough of the scent line when it comes to fall, cold, chilly, night time wear etc... this is pretty incredible. It is the scent but it takes it a different direction from all others. You can really pick up the iris ,but those leather notes along with the Manika...makes for one hell of a nice scent. If you're a fan of The Scent and want an iteration that really goes in a different direction ,I highly suggest this. I blind bought and this will be a staple for years to come. I want to note the iris isn't of the lipsticky type , it's there but it's there to elevate it from the classic Scent dna. It really steers it in another direction, awesome direction.

This is my go-to date night/upscale night out fragrance. Classy, seductive iris and tart fruity notes, hint of chocolate somehow, with a smoky wood and slightly pungent leather base. It's pretty strong, so be careful not to overspray, perhaps that's also why I prefer it on clothes rather than skin - I usually do two sprays on my neck and another two on my coat's shoulders, it lasts forever on fabric and hits a nice balance of cutting through the cold when outside and not being too intrusive while inside (provided you leave your coat at the door). Price is reasonable; the money may be better put towards something like Dior Homme Intense, but as a standalone product, I have no complaints.

This is a mature scent, giving a luxurious, powdery from iris. The ginger notes is a bit strong, so the person who wear it will smell the ginger, but the person who smell it won’t smell it, maybe a bit if close contact. Any age can wear this, however, don’t dress casual. Its best for formal occasions or date night. Definitely not suitable if you wear casual below age 25. It’s a pricey fragrance, but you will stand out. Performance is a bit issue, 3-4 hours if you know your skin is not suitable for wearing fragrance. Other might get 5-6 hours. You can overspray on this one.

Fantastic fragrance! Opening had that iris touch, despite of what I've heard on the iris not being a prominent note. Leather is also easy to pickup from the opening, but strangely I don't get it as much in the drydown. VERY redundant dry own to The Scent Absolute. Still this is my preferred fragrance between the two. Good longevity and projection, easy grab and go, fruity-iris woody scent. I do see this leaning a little less mature than, good for a man 16-26 (maybe?) - being 30 still love earing these sweeter scents.

I had this fragrance for a quite while on my list and finally I got it. It’s so addicted. Le Parfum is a masculine that invites others. For a man who’s confident, don’t care about others. I am not quite sure if it’s for summer as it’s a warm fragrance but for evening / night it’s superb. When I spray on my clothes I still smell it after couple days later. Silage is about 3-4 hours, longevity easy 24 hours on skin which is remarkable. But hey, every type of skin is different.

Has Hugo Boss moved into High-End ranking? I paid $ 174 CDN for a 100 ml. bottle. Thing is, it's so classy, and just has a high quality vibe. Worth it? Yes. Fruity, powdery, subtle, but always there in the air, and sooo good. I repeat, so classy. I have been testing various The Scent flankers, and they're good. Smell amazing, and have great longevity. Yep. I'm a fan. Thank you, Hugo Boss. Pricey, but if you want to smell like this, you'll pay.

Er is zoet en zoet en tegenwoordig is er enorm veel zoet, maar de zoet uit The Scent lijn is er een op zichzelf, een uit duizenden ... Niet zwaar, niet klef of plakkerig, niet schreeuwend, maar aards en wenkend. - There's sweetness and sweetness, and these days there's a lot of sweetness, but the sweetness from The Scent line is unique, one in a million... Not heavy, not cloying or sticky, not loud, but earthy and inviting.

I already reviewed this one awhile back and I like it. It's a classy cool weather scent with lipsticky iris and violet being the most prominent notes for me. But I cannot understand why the "main accords" list here doesn't include "sweet", which should absolutely be listed and fairly close to the top of the list. It's not cloying but you wouldn't want to wear this in hot weather due to the high sweetness.

I got this on sale from Amazon a few months ago. I really like the ginger scent note, because it helps settle my stomach, when I'm feeling nauseated. I guess that's like aromatherapy, but it's a big reason why I've gotten so into fragrances this past year. I use lavender scented ones to help ease stress, ginger to help ease nausea, and citrus helps give me a little energy boost.

Sweet and powdery iris with a hint of woodiness and leather in the background. Quite strong and lasts for a long time, around 8 hours. Excellent Fall/Winter fragrance! I only have a sample, but I probably want to get a bottle. Edit: With further use I've actually noticed it last throughout the entire day for me.

Been wearing since release and to follow up my original post I can not get enough of this, it is so good it blows my mind there's anyone that wouldn't like this. It might be better than Private Accord, I don't know but I want another bottle already ...easily one of the best this year already

This smells like the Absolute with an added suede and (barely there) iris note, it's also a bit less spicier but a tad bit smoother. Performance is also about the same. It's really good but if you already have anything from the line it's maybe not too much of a change.

Now this - is class. The smell is superb. I feel like they should've named this one "Magnetic". Wearing this in the office so my manager can't get mad at me. If Prada L'Homme EDT is for the summer office days - The Scent Le Parfum is for the winter days.

Awesome fragrance. I've purchased 3 bottles at this point. It's one I can't go without, I ran through one 3oz bottle, bought another plus a 1.7oz for a backup. Awesome night out / date night frag. Can't stop smelling it! BOSS nailed it with this one.

My opinion on this fragrance is that while it is quite sweet it is also surprisingly masculine. I don’t pick up the iris note but that could just be me. overall it is a great scent and a really good flanker from the line. 9/10

This is very good ! Very unique with the maninka note that stays through the whole life of the fragrance. The iris + wood + maninka combo is a killer. Performance is great on my skin, it latches onto it stays for a long time.

Sweet fragrance, maybe too sweet for some. This will choke you in hot weather but reward you in cold weather. And man does it go on forever! Frankly, this is the only Boss flanker I liked enough to buy.

Normally I don’t look at Hugo boss but everytime I see this I need to smell it. It has maninka ginger and iris notes and for some reason I get a bit of chocolate perfect for winter

This speaks class. I love the addition of Iris in here, blends really well with the maninka. Hope to add more of the flankers, I have the edt too so I might as well collect all.

best way to describe it is; Absolute EDP: the vibrant youth Le parfum: the mature gentleman this is second best to the private accord. Will buy a full bottle.

This is beautiful. Dior Homme and Lucky had a baby. Pretty good performance, and got a compliment from a stranger first day. What more could you ask for?

This may be because my bottle has a production date from 4 years ago, so the top notes may have partially degraded. • There is no strong presence of iris, which is unfortunately the part I was most excited about. The iris scent is roughly 5% to 10%. • The sweetness is not as high as people claim. I hate overly sweet scents, and I found it moderate. If it were lower, it would be better, but it is acceptable. • The listed notes do not describe the smell of the fragrance at all. The main character of the scent follows the typical Hugo Boss signature, synthetic smells that do not exist in real life. It is not leathery at all as some describe, nor does it smell like ginger or iris. It is a synthetic scent, which does not mean low quality or chemical, but rather that it does not resemble a real world scent. The main traits are depth, creaminess, smoothness, and mystery, with about 35% sweetness. If someone did not know the fragrance, they would never expect this to be a leather scent. I purchased this as soon as I heard about its release. I love The Scent Absolute and I expected this to be similar with an added iris note, can't go wrong with that combination right? Maybe... This is an initial review as I am SUPER stuffed up and could only smell the opening into the mid (so no performance review right now -- I will update at a later date). I get a very sweet almost candied mandarin/clementine orange at the top. While I expected the iris to be powdery given how The Scent line is, I was hoping it would play a more starring role than it does. To be fair, the iris does poke it's head through in the opening as you can smell it behind a orangey-ginger top. I will be back at a later date to review in full, but I can already tell that this will be a compliment puller with the sweet opening and gentle mid that play nicely off one another. I also think its versatile enough to wear on Spring nights out despite it being a (mostly) winter fragrance. Ideal temps would be in the 35-55 degree (F)/4-11 degree (C) range.

This is amazing! I'm a fan of the scent line from hugo boss, although my favourite is still Private Accord So how does Le Parfum smell? it has a bubblegum smell and smells like dark red fruits in the opening, almost bubblegum/grape/cherry type opening I compare this to Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP with that cherry opening it's a little bit medicinal but then the bubblegum smell of Joop Homme EDP. Then you get the original The Scent DNA in here with the maninka fruit and there's a bit of leather undertones here as well. The iris comes across really nicely, even though it doesn't smell like any other iris fragrance but I love the iris in here one of my favourite notes in fragrance is iris So this is a combination of The Scent absolute + Guerlain L'homme EDP + Joop Homme EDP....it's really sweet but it has a fruity freshness there as well. Not as fresh as Private accord though Is this better than Absolute? Yes I think it's better...But not better than Private Accord

This is like Boss' attempt at an edgy, Dior Homme Parfum style fragrance. Unfortunately, while the scent profile is quite intriguing, it could have been executed better. I like the maninka note, but it is a little too sweet and takes over the scent profile at first. I love the addition of ginger, even if it does disappear after mere minutes. When the opening fades, the iris is there but doesn't necessarily standout. And in the dry-down, you're left with a leathery-woods concoction that just feels a little cheap. In conclusion, The Scent Le Parfum is still a good fragrance, but it's not without its drawbacks, and could have been a lot better if it had been balanced better and done with higher-quality ingredients. I'd like to see this profile done by a high-quality niche house.

I think it must be a mistake, the iris note should be changed to violet. Because this is a violet fragrance it smells like every violet fragrance just with it's own maninka the scent DNA. When you smell enough violet fragrance you can identify that note easily, this was the fragrance that made me realize what violet smells like because the smell of violet is so noticeable in this. And I always compare the violet in this to other violet fragrances like Cavali uomo, CH men, Joop wow fresh, Fahrenheit parfum, Bleecker street, Mercedes benz intense, etc..Even though it's not a clone of those I just use those as examples for violet fragrances to train your nose to that particular note

Very good but the Iris note is incredibly strong and noticeable. Incredible Winter/Autumn fragrance and it lasts long on me despite most fragrances not lasting that long on me generally. Projects well and is certainly unique to me excluding the rest on 'The Scent' line probably due to the Monika smell because of its uniqueness its hard to place it as something yet I would say while somewhat pricey for me it is value for money. However, not a blind buy as the scent is again unique but would recommend for what it is.

I sampled this because I already have and enjoy Private Accord and Absolute. I'm a fan of this line. Also, I enjoy the note of Iris. I found this Le Parfum disappointing. It has a pleasant enough smell, but the Iris fades in then fades out almost as quickly. I never had a chance to smell The Scent Parfum, but I heard the Iris in it was a star player. That didn't happen here. It's not bottle-worthy for me. The longevity is good, but projection is abysmal, like most Boss fragrances. Sample this before you buy.

I spent a day with this and i gotta say i had no idea it had iris or leather. Although maybe the iris is what gave it a soapy bubbly soda effect almost. Overall it's a very dense fragrance for Hugo Boss and surely for you people who like your sweet stuff like ultra male, 1 million, the sweet Armani stuff etc. It's like a fruit soda infused with hard fruit candies Performance is good but remember, Hugo boss has crap sprayers, so always do 2 times your usual sprays.

In fact, I had this perfume in preview in 2019 when it had not yet been released. it's an excellent very classy perfume, the best from Boss for me. Me who hates leather, it does not bother me in this perfume, it is a beautiful suave perfume. it is a sweet and very buttery fragrance thanks to the Iris. Besides, I don't really feel Iris but rather Iris Pallida. It should be listed better. 9/10

I got this randomly when getting idéal parfum at Douglas, and I immediately fell in love, but I will say to my nose it has a slight cheaper cologne sweetness that sticks out to me. My wife says she loves it and doesn’t smell cheap, but in just particular. It’s very floral, and the sweetness isn’t much but it does sit in later. I personally don’t get much ginger.

Flowery and woody entrance and turns into leathery fragrance. My brother says that it doesn’t have a good sillage but he can smell it on himself even after hours. So not good sillage but good longevity. I myself found this like more woody and leathery type of Sauvage EDP. Overall 7/10

This is an interesting one. There are notes in it that I really like and others that I dislike. Overall the positives outweigh the negatives. It's more of a mature scent. Decent for cooler temps, though I'd opt for the EDT or Intense variants over this.
