Hugo Woman Extreme

The boysenberry note mixed with the warm florals in this perfume is to die for! This is by far the prettiest berry “pink” smelling fragrance I’ve smelled so far, without being too sugar sweet. I mean it is sweet, but the tea note tempers it I think. Smells elegant and warm after 30 minutes when the berry backs off a bit. At one point I thought it got a bit indolic? Maybe that osmanthus note is making it sort of heady and plush in the florals heart? I’ve never sniffed real osmanthus. The jasmine is definitely present. Moderate lasting power. Just so pretty. Not as crisp and businessy as I expected. Very romantic.

It is a beautiful fresh floral fragrance that, for me, is a safe and happy fragrance to wear and is suitable for the spring/summer seasons. In my 40+ perfume collection, niche and designer, this is my most complimented scent by far. I didn’t think it was that special at first, although beautiful and smelling like exclusive salon shampoo in the BEST way possible. However, esp. men go coo coo for this one! It’s a lovely, feminine everyday-type of scent

They didn ́t lie when calling it "Extreme". It opens with a blast, very fruity and almost screechy green, but bearable and interesting. Fresh and somewhat "perfumy", but not really in a bad way either, I think the opening might grow on me (edit: it did). After an hour it settles into the most beautiful flowering tea scent, a scent I have been looking for in tea fragrances, but not been able to find: Dancong oolong. Smells like an almost malty rich and honeyed blackish tea, with flowering notes of jasmine and osmanthus. The osmanthus is softening the jasmine so much, pushing it towards that Dancong scent. It smells very much like some of my favourite Dancongs, like Gui hua Xiang or a Mo Li Xiang. Not completely photorealistic, but a scent that comes quite close. For people who says this does not smell like tea, no it ́s not a regular black tea bag smell, it is in fact much better. I think this might be suitable for cold spring, but mostly autumn and winter. What a gem and a keeper this is. I like it so much that I need to get the Hugo Woman Eau de Parfum as well, and looking forward to experience their take on a plum mandarin sandalwood tea (edit: I got it, it ́s lighter but similar, more mandarine and woods with an airier dry down, just different enough and perfect for spring). The bottle is the most generic looking thing ever though, but I can get past that. They better never discontinue this. They price of this cheapie is also crazy, you get some bang for your bucks here. It ́s a must have for any gong fu cha lover.

I guess that if you bundle all berry-based sweet and fruity florals into one scent profile, you could say this is generic. If however you can recognise subtle nuances and individual notes, this one isn't generic at all to my nose! I either own or have smelt most of the perfumes this has been compared to and it doesn't smell like any of them (apart from Touch of pink tbf, but that one is a bit sickly on me!). I find it very pretty and addictive, but also rather unusual. The boysenberry is recognizable as that particular berry and no others. The combination of that mixed with the green and aromatic grass and black tea is really unusual, as is the floral peachyness of the Osmanthus. Plus it's sweet but doesn't have a vanillic tone. I do feel like the notes here are incomplete though. This is very similar to Hugo Woman and has a very 90s feeling soft sandalwood that when mixed with the jasmine has a whisper of things like Chanel Allure and Avon Casbah.... that Samsara feel, but only a touch! The Boysenberry and tea take it in a more modern direction. I always think that I don't need both Hugo Woman and this extreme version, but whenever I wear them I can't bear to part with either! This and the Hugo Woman edp both seem to have got stronger while sitting in my collection - they seemed quite light to me when I first got them, so maybe they need some development time!

Inoffensive shampooish scent. Fresh and nice. I quite like it. 7/10. But I feel like it is a perfume which I could get sick of over time, so I guess I wouldn’t buy it for myself. Suitable for all seasons, but mostly reminds me of springtime. One little minus is the bottle, which feels a bit cheap. UPDATE 5 hours later: can still smell it on my wrist and the perfume has grown on me during these past few hours. I guess I would even consider buying this perfume for myself.

It's a sweet and fruity perfume. I think the fruitiness must come from boysenberry. It is similar to one of Nina Ricci's perfumes in apple looking bottles - Le Paradis de Nina. Notes are not similar, but this is what is reminds me of. It must be the sweetest of the fragrances in that line. I think it's not the most original one, but it's nice and mildly sweet fruity perfume.

Young, nice scent, fruity, and kind of fresh. I would definitely recommend it for summer or spring and not for winter. I dont agree with all bad reviews, but yeah, I agree that it is not special.

Really nice scent, very different from the first Woman by Boss. I think I like it that much because of the berry and tea notes. Even grass note does not bother me much.

This is an okay, although a bit stereotypically "perfumey" and somewhat unremarkable floral and berry iced tea type of scent. A little bit 90s, like something by Tommy Hilfiger. The opening is an unfortunate burst of alcohol, but the dry down is sweet and the longevity is good for this type of scent. It smells faint but pretty in hair and lasts a long time on clothes. I originally blind bought this thinking it would be closer to the Chanel chance eau tendre based on the “reminds me of” section here. Aside from it also being feminine and light, the actual smell is not similar to me at all, which was pretty disappointing (even if I don't dislike this scent). The similarity is just in the bottle design. Of course this disappointment is really all on me for trusting that section rather than the notes, but yeah... for me there is none of that distinct violet/grapefruit scent that you get in chanel chance eau tendre /Marc Jacobs Daisy/zara apple juice here.

Congratulations! You've made the most basic feminine scent. It's okay, pretty, but boring - good to wear to the office as nobody will suffocate and won't even notice you.

nothing special about this one. it has that scent which is shared by many other perfumes. smells cheap.

It is sweet, feminine and very likeable but not my type. I hate the middle notes, it is nauseating

I love this sparking scent. Yes, it is suited more for a younger crowd but, I don't agree at all with the bad reviews. You initially get the sharp smoldering boysenberry & then the jasmine and othmanthus bring in a mysterious & interesting note, which does lasts quite a long time on me. Hense extreme. It's a little skanky but, in a sexy and high energy way. It keeps you wanting more. I met my fiancé wearing this scent and he was intoxicated by me, we didn't stop dancing and touching for hours. It was on a summer night in Cancun so, I would definitely recommend this for a hotter night. I think it would also be good for a day that you're doing some outdoor activities and getting a little bit of a tan. **vision**

It is a happy, sparkling, casual fragrance. The name is silly, since it's far from extreme, and has nothing to do with the original Hugo Woman EDP. And you know, what? I like it quite a bit because of its unpretentiousness. Very bright, and airy, kind of a spring, sunshine, love is in the air type of scent. The brightness reminds me a lot of Gaultier's Ma Dame EDT - not that they are similar, but they have the same playful, happy vibe. Why I'm not buying a bottle then? Longevity. It becomes a skin scent after an hour, and disappears in 3-4 hours. If you don't mind that, give it a try.

Safe blind buy. There's nothing to be mad at with this one. She's inoffensive, soft and feminine. She is very versatile and well blended. I would agree that there isn't anything "extreme" about her. I was afraid that with the grass note would be a little too green for me...it's not. She's not at all like Chance Eau Tendre but I can understand it. She does give off Chanel vibes but at a quarter of the price. I purchased this at Ross on a whim for $24.99. I have an addiction to the gamble/ thrill of blind buying.

Reading about the notes and the description, I was really enthusiastic about getting Extreme, now I am flat out disappointed...it is such a plain scent, a bit of florals, a hint of freshness, and poor longevity, nothing extreme about it...it is a typical pink floral, of course it doesn't smell awful.. not different from other fruity florals out there...wasnt cheap either!! Black tea!? Osmanthus !? Himalayan grass!? Where ???

I had high hopes for this as people had compared this to 90s and 00s scents like Tommy Girl, Red Jeans and the like but with a "modern twist". Unfortunately it went too far by the latter charactaristic and reminded me of the numerous sugary/jasmine fragrances released in the past 15 years. I'm trying to use at least 1/3 of a bottle before selling it/giving it away.

fruity, grapefruit, not sweet, has an edge but it the type that gets up your nose, sits close in the skin, I oredict an average lasting power, lasts better in a card tester than my skin. I get a fresh vibe from it. Not sour. The sharpishness I detect now is nice, I think it might round off a bit.

Hugo woman vs extreme.. A couple hour in the extreme is the clean woody seminwarm floral, and the edp woman is woody fruity clean.. Woman is fruity green clean Extreme is quieter I think they're both kinda laundry smells ish.. clean and easy. Neither ground break. Both are nice overall

Fruity and soft, nothing „extreme“ about it. Nothing special either. It’s nice and that is it. strongest note is the boysenberry, followed by grass and tea. It’s so generic that i don’t really know to whom i could recommend it. final note: 4/10

Where is the "extreme" in this scent? It is just like a sweeter version of Boss Woman edp. It does last like 30 minutes or an hour and then it's gone. What a disappointment.

I smell berries! Raspberries in particular! Young and nice scent!
